"Cathy with C" was working the bar and told us to "belly up to the bar!" We did, and ordered a dozen wings, half bbq and half hot, then a bunch of onion rings and an order of jalapeño poppers. The food was amazing and the wing menu offered a bunch of different sauces and heat levels for whatever you're hankering for. Cathy kept us all feeling good and we had a blast! I really recommend Shifty's.

The bartenders clearly have a good connection with their regulars, but were just as welcoming me there (it was my first time). This is a great sports bar, but I would absolutely go back even if it's not a gameday. The wings alone were worth it.

I stopped in on wing Wednesday, and boy, oh boy, was I in for a treat. On Wednesdays, their wings are .75 cents per wing, a minimum of 10 per order. So, in true foodie fashion, I decided to order some for "now and later." I chose their Val wings, Salt & Pepper, and Korean BBQ. We also ordered a Cheesesteak, I had been told by 2 people that this was the best cheesesteak in town, and I just had to try it for myself. Let's start with their wings. Are they a great value ? Yes! Were they amazing? Also, yes! These wings were simply great. Great size, great flavor profile, just great across the board! I can't imagine coming here and not ordering their wings. So good! You're probably thinking, well, what about the cheesesteak... well, I can assure you that the 2 people who suggested I try it did not steer me wrong. This cheesesteak was delicious!!! Full of tender steak, toppings, and loaded with cheese just how I love it. To make matters even better on Tuesdays, you can order a loaded cheesesteak & fries for only $8. I was unable to have a conversation with my boyfriend. An incredibly intoxicated man came up to me SCREAMING in my ear, while I was turned away with my finger in my ear to attempt to send a signal of disinterest and discomfort, his even more intoxicated friend then joined and encroached on my seat. When I jumped up, my skirt was stuck under him, because he was so close to me to a point that he was partially sitting on my stool. The bartender witnessed this interaction and continued pouring them drinks. While waiting for our take out order, I was so happy to have a drink in my hand. I have never "downed" a double gin and tonic faster in my life. There was no quiet corner to escape to, and my boyfriend was seething in anger and disgust the entire 20-25 minutes we waited there, as well as the 20 minute drive home. I was sorry that he didn't have a drink to take the edge off during our experience there, but he was not willing to give them a single dollar. At no point in my life would I have wanted to experience this place, and at no point will I be returning. Chicken wings were delicious.
