Great service, timely, professional and amazing Indian vegetarian food. Will work again with Vestals.

We hired Vestals in Austin for my daughter's wedding in March. We interviewed other caterers and vestals was the most professional and had the best food. We had multiple meetings and interactions with Morgan and Ruby. We were impressed with their professionalism and attention to detail. We did a formal sit down dinner with cocktail hour prior. We also hired them to cook our late night food. Of all the vendors we hired we were not worried about Vestals delivering everything they promised. Sadly the night of the wedding was a completely different story. The service was extremely slow and chaotic. My guests were left wondering if they would ever get dinner and it made our wedding time line run way behind. The tables were not bused and the bartenders had to start grabbing glasses off tables since Vestals was not doing it. Waters were not refilled and it was an overall scene we never ever expected. Lastly they didn't cut the grooms cake and left it sitting on the cake table. I give them 2 stars because the food was good but honestly the service was less than 1 star. I warn other Austin brides that they will promise everything but deliver a different experience. read more

Vestals catered a holiday party for 25 friends and family at my condo and did an amazing job!! They did a great job setting up in a tight space and making it work. The staff were incredibly professional and the food was outstanding! What a great team! I'd hire them again in an instant! read more

Pascal's Catering did a brilliant job with our al fresco fundraiser last night. We wanted a lovely family-style Italian dinner for our guests, and Pascal's delicious menu far exceeded our expectations. Our guests were delighted with the offerings...the Caesar salad was crisp and cold, the chicken was moist and delicious, and the sides (squash and zucchini au gratin and orzo with sun-dried tomatoes and basil) were equally delectable. Dessert was a selection of cheesecake bites, which was the perfect end to a perfect menu. Thank you, Pascal's. read more

Where do we even begin with Pascal's? First of all, they were a life saver for our wedding. Our original caterer went under because of COVID-19. As we went back through all the emails we sent out to previous catering vendors hoping to find a backup option, Pascal's stood out. I'm not sure how we let them slip through the cracks the first time, but they had our date available so we scheduled a tasting quickly. The food was phenomenal and they were accommodating to all our requests. We didn't have to sacrifice anything. Barb, Rudy and Chef Ryan were the best and my wife especially loved the tastings with the chef so she could give her feedback. We had a biscuit bar and deviled eggs for our cocktail hour, which were a hit. Dinner was a roasted chicken, which apparently was very juicy. Some picky eaters in our guest list even went back for seconds. I had a vegan crepe and, let me tell you, you'd never know it was dairy free. It was so good, in fact, that a bunch of guests who are not vegan ended up having it from the buffet line. It was a surprisingly big hit. Overall, Pascal's was there for us when we needed them. They went above and beyond, were reasonably priced for the food quality/service and received the highest compliments from our guests. Even our wedding coordinator said she had worked with far more expensive caterers and hadn't seen a group run a tight ship like Pascal's. We'll be using them again in 2022 for our one-year anniversary party, an extension of our micro wedding that had to be trimmed down because of COVID. If you're in the market for an event caterer, I don't think there's even a choice. read more

I'm wondering if Pascal's has now closed as they are not responsive and the "contact us" link redirects to another catering company name ("Vestals"). Their phone number is a Google number that is not attended nor answered, and their website has no sample menus nor prices. If they are open still, they are lacking in customer service (not good for a caterer), but I'm guessing they've closed down or sold their business. read more

Pascal's catered my wedding last weekend and did an outstanding job! I searched several caterers before picking one and Pascal's menu was the most appealing, on paper and the day of! They know what they're doing. Our guests loved the food. Barbra did an excellent job of coordinating and communicating when we had changes or additions. The servers and chef were so pleasant and attentive on the day and that was so welcome after so much planning. Their bartender mixed our drinks beautifully and Pascal's was easy to work with, also providing the required TABC paperwork to our vendor. I would definitely call Pascal's again! read more

I have never been so impressed with a catering company in my life. One of my dear friends got married this past weekend, and she'd asked if I wouldn't mind being a psuedo event planner for the day to make sure everything ran smoothly so she didn't have to deal with it. I had an absolute blast working with the two people Pascal's sent, Kathy & Henry. They were so kind and such hard workers!! They got there a few hours in advance and quickly set up their serving station to get everything situated and heated. Kathy knew exactly which questions to ask and was always two steps ahead. She never seemed flustered and made sure to make the bride and groom appetizer plates so they didn't miss out while they took pictures and the rest of us devoured the yummy food! The food was just amazing. I've never had food at a wedding that even came close to the spread Pascal's brought. Appetizers: Fresh fruit & cheeses...massive...fresh....beautiful. BBQ & Veggie empanadas....these were just the cutest little things. Legit empanadas stuffed with delicious bbq and the veggie ones seemed to be black bean & corn. Both were warm and comforting. There was plenty of bread, crackers and some yummy looking spinach dip. Dinner: Blueberry, feta & pecan spring salad with raspberry vinaigrette (with a touch of Parmesan?? It almost had a Ceasar dressing flavor...) The dressing was just perfect...fresh and light, but decadent enough with the other flavors to make it seem like a much more complicated dish than it actually was. I went back for seconds! Shrimp & grits: huge, fresh shrimp seasoned and grilled to perfection served with bacon and cheese grits. I am a huge grit fan and these did not disappoint. Pulled pork & mashed potatoes (green chile?): When I hear pulled pork I think bbq, but this had a Carribean vibe to it....savory but also had a little kick from pineapple. I don't eat potatoes, but they looked wonderful and I think I spied some green chile in them which is always a nice touch. Grilled veggies: The vegan at our table was overjoyed that there was a veggie dish free of cheese. Squash, zucchini, red pepper, etc all grilled to perfection. I really can't say enough good things about these people and the food they sling. They were professional, kind, and even seemed to genuinely care about the bride and groom and making their day special and carefree. There's not much more you could ask for in a caterer! I wanted to put Kathy in my pocket she was so cute. They never stopped moving or working and came prepared to package up the leftovers which I'm sure came in handy toward the end of the night when the open bar started to empty out! read more

Pascal's has been out at the venue that I manage twice; The first time they were hired by our client to cater their event and we were so impressed with their food and staff that we hired them to cater a very important luncheon event that we had at our venue. Not only are they very professional and their staff delivers a seamless service but, their food is delicious. When I tried their food the first time their portabello mushroom sliders made my eyes roll back in my head. The mac and cheese bar was the best that I have had from a caterer and I loved that you got to pile on your toppings like scallions, bacon, etc.! When I hired them to cater the luncheon at our venue they created a menu based off of the vibe that I wanted for the event. They showed up early, set up and their equipment was clean and beautiful. They were very friendly and willing to work with us on short notice. They accommodated everything we asked for and their set up was a user friendly buffet set up. Their pricing was very inexpensive compared to the quality of food and great service that we received. We received a chicken entrée, two sides, salad, rolls and iced tea for under $20.00 per person. We have a lot of caterers come and go through our venue for events but, this is a caterer that we will use for our own private events over and over again! The excellent reviews here on Yelp were the reason I contacted Pascal's. I am very glad I did. The five stars consistently awarded here are well-deserved in my experience. Dan and his team catered an event in my home and things could not have gone any smoother. The food was superb and the presentation and service throughout were spot on. Planning the event with Dan was also a great experience. I tend to fret and he is very patient. A really great experience all around. read more

Pascal's Catering is excellent. Their prices are incredibly reasonable (looking to have a great spread at your wedding for under $20 a head? you found it). Their food is outstanding, their service is straightforward and excellent (they don't pretend to be event planners: and hike up their prices: they simply do what they do incredibly well) , their presentation gorgeous, and they are very gracious. What I like most is that they are generous to charities. Last year we had an SPCA event catered by Pascal's. For about $10 a head, we got a buffet mix that was probably the best food I've ever had at an event. I only wish I'd known about them before my wedding. I paid much more for food of much lower quality. Their only drawback: and its not enough for me to drop them a star- was that last year they were *occasionally* a little slow to get back to me; sometimes it took 2 or 3 days. Minor compared to their overall quality. read more

The first time I lived in Austin, I was the wedding date du jour... Ha, not really, I just had alot of affianced friends. But who wouldn't want to attend a party with their dearest peeps, surrounded by good, positive energy, as well as lots of booze and food? Meeeee. :-) I had the opportunity to sample Pascal's bountiful spread several times over those years- had the chance to eye these jaw-dropping gorgeous setups and creative culinary delights that make my tongue quiver seven years after Pascal served the last wedding I attended. Fast forward to my own wedding and they were immediately my first choice. I contacted a few other caterers around town, including Ecstatic and Renee's- but Tamara from Pascal's was the quickest hands down, immediately taking the guess work out of figuring out the cost per plate and breaking things down into prix fix and ala carte menus. I was a bit disappointed with some of the vendors who stated that they don't have a set price list, and that every quote is custom created according to the menu choices. I guess that would work for someone who had a little more time to plan this wedding. But honestly, I would rather not consume my time with it. All the items listed on the menus were really affordable. My fiance and I got a little lost on the way to the tasting. But thankfully, Tamara waived us down in the parking lot. At our consultation, Tamara was really great at giving us direction. We had a few items on the list that we were interested in, but no real set "theme" nor did we have any other ideas on the selections to make up a real buffet. Incredibly, Tamara was able to transform me from quizzically expressing, "Uh, we think we want a heavy hors d'oeuvres buffet?" to putting together an amazing menu with so much variety. All the items on our list had traditional flavors with an unexpected twist. Nonethless, my tastebuds invited this marriage willingly. The samples were really awesome too. Our fave was the breaded chicken stuffed with goat cheese and peppers. Something simple, yet very well done. The goat cheese and pepper substitution for Swiss/Gruyere and ham was a neat spin on the traditional Chicken Cordon Bleu. We thought it was really cool that Pascal kindly offered to make appetizer-sized portions of this dish. Tamara has so gone above and beyond, even making phone calls to other vendors, assisting in my wedding planning. She's a total GEM! But I'll definitely provide an update after the wedding. read more

I hired Pascals for a company retirement party and they were excellent! The food was amazing, the service impeccable, their timing was perfect. Everything was done a step above and beyond what we expected. Dan, Sebastian and their staff were wonderful and efficient. They quietly bussed tables and served desserts during a time when we had a speaker up front and it was seamless and quiet. No one was distracted at all. They are simply amazing and we will definitely be using their services again! read more

Pascal's was absolutely amazing...leading up until the day of the wedding. This is for the experience pre-event, only. I was previously engaged and Pascal's was a preferred caterer for the venue. I chose them based on comfort (Ivan and Pascal were both extremely friendly, patient, welcoming and non-aggressive), price point (greater quantity for much less than the other preferred caterers, Rosemary's and Sterling Affairs), and AMAZING tasting experience (they allowed us to try so much more food than the others, including a full entree with sides exactly as they would be presented at the wedding, and they even included food that we didn't ask for because they thought we might like it). I put the deposit down on the spot at the initial meeting. Months later, the wedding was cancelled and I notified Ivan. He said that I could put my deposit towards catering a future event. Well, as luck would have it, I ended up getting engaged to another man and immediately called Pascals. They were already booked for our wedding date, but they wanted my day to be perfect, so they agreed to do it anyway. They even offered to serve me and my groom a "special" meal, at no additional cost, that was close to the fancy meal I was previously looking forward to. Very generous! In the next couple months, rushing to plan a wedding in 8 weeks, they were very flexible with me and my requests/questions/changes due to budget, etc. Sometimes it would take a few days to get back to me, but I was literally emailing a couple times a week, so I understood. I truly felt guilty every time I had to ask another question or make a revision to the order, but they really didn't make me feel bad about it. I wish I could stop here, but I can't. We used Pascal's for our son's wedding and we could not be happier! Dan was such a pleasure to work with, as well as his very hard working and friendly staff! There was so many wonderfully, delicious options to chooses from. We did a small reception with "heavy" hors d'oeuvres. The only problem was there was too many great choices!! From the time that Dan and his staff arrived, till the time they cleaned up, they were constantly making sure all the food stations were clean and restocked with fresh food. Dan worked with us on last minute questions and changes and we ended up with 80 very happy wedding guests! read more

We have been using Pascal's catering for several opportunities and I thought it was only fair to express our appreciation for the quality if the food served. One of my groomsmen recommended Pascal's to my husband and I when we were wedding planning. We shopped around, but Dan and his crew were the clear front runners the whole time. It was easy and fun to come up with the menus together and as we drew closer to the event, Dan answered any question we had and rolled with every last minute change we had. The day of, their staff was unbelievable. Not only was the food a huge success, but each employee was exemplary. My husband and I snuck in through the back kitchen area after a post-ceremony photo shoot, and were greeted by a few staff members who had saved multiples of each appetizer for us. This, in addition to running apps out to us during the family shoot! They also made several points of making sure that we ate dinner while we had the chance! Really an amazing experience from top to bottom. read more

Our store had a special show and we had Pascal cater it and they were amazing! The food was DELISH and Dan and his crew were Top Notch. They were able to adapt to the small space of our store's backroom. Totally professional but also alot of fun. The food really was amazing especially the fillet mignon skewers. Once our show was over they cleaned up and I swear the backroom was cleaner than it was before they got there. I highly recommend them. I will use them again if we have another event or for a personal event. They really are great!! Left a great impression. read more

Here's the bottom line on Pascal's: The food is fantastic. Our guests loved the chicken with goat cheese, and the phyllo triangles and empanadas were amazing. But in addition to great food, you're paying for Dan Cady. The man is half the reason our wedding went off as well as it did. Everything I asked for, he took care of. We asked him to do a half dozen things that weren't in his job description, and he and his staff took care of ALL of them. And talk about "above and beyond," when I was getting dressed and realized I'd forgotten a belt, he literally took his off and gave it to me. The catering for our wedding reception was done by Pascal's Catering and as a wedding photographer myself who has eaten a lot of catering for weddings, trust me - it was some of the best wedding food I've ever had! Their team was super professional and they had a wide selection of options for us to choose from when picking our menu. We went with a mexican food theme and they took into consideration every request we made, including those for our vegetarian and vegan guests. Everyone is still talking about how amazing the food was when our wedding comes up in a conversation. Also, their bar staff made incredible mexican martinis and I am just so happy and thankful that Pascal's came through on our big day and made our reception a great success! read more

I can not rave enough about Dan and Pascal's Catering!!! Dan was such a pleasure to work with. Pascal's is fabulous! We had a lunch and a dinner party catered the same day, and Pascal's did an amazing job. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. Steven and Ivan and their crews not only were friendly and helpful, but they went out of their way to make things easy for us. For example, even though we had someone else provide mini cupcakes for the dinner, Pascal's staff packed up the cupcake displays so we didn't have to. Pascal did a great job helping us plan the menus. He was easy to work with when we had questions or changes. He also was happy to accommodate special requests and changes to recipes. And the prices were very reasonable. We had heard from other people and from Pascal himself that he does not skimp on quantities ... that was certainly the case for our events. It's so rare these days to find someone who can do such a great job at a great price and actually exceed your expectations, but that's exactly what we got with Pascal's. read more

my engagement party was 2 weeks away and i was in a bind. the catering company i had originally planned on hiring was completely booked and i was freaking out. thanks to the austin knotties (a local austin wedding forum), they suggested a few catering companies to try out. pascal's pricing and selections totally blew everyone else away. i really enjoyed having the option of different varieties of food. i wanted it to be eclectic, easy and unique. ivan was a pleasure to work with. he was very quick to get back to my emails and questions. i wasn't expecting much, as it would be a drop-off cocktail buffet. the big day arrives and greg begins to set up at the house. i was amazed at the beautiful presentation they created with the food. he was very kind, precise and took time to explain to me some important details. we had a plethora of goodies like crab cakes, veggie spring rolls, goat cheese balls, sticky rice wrapped in salmon, dessert tarts and cheese, cheese, cheese! everyone raved on the food all night long. i can't believe how excellent it tasted. every item was delicious. clean up was a cinch since the majority of food was gone at the end of the night. i will highly recommend pascal's to any of you brides-to-be, party-throwers, shower planners, or corporate event planners. they saved my night. read more

Hmm where to start? Casey, Tamara, Pascal and the crew at Pascal's Catering far exceeded any expectations. We were married at the Umlauf Sculpture Garden on April 11th 2009 and we can't thank Pascal's enough for making it the perfect wedding. From the start, Casey made us feel like we were part of his own family and treated us as such. After our first meeting we knew they were "the one". Hands down one of the best meals I have eaten in my life. This was also the sentiment of many of our guests. Rave reviews from everyone in attendance. Reasonably priced, efficient, professional, courteous and again the food was amazing. Do yourself a favor and hire these guys to cater your event! read more

The BEST wedding food I've ever had! My husband and I were blown away when we had our tasting with Dan and Chef Pascal. Our menu consisted of passed Hors d'oeuves, followed by family style servings of the Nantucket blue salad, pistachio crusted sea bass, grilled beef tenderloin with parmesan leek mashed potatoes and roasted spring mixed vegetables. Being how we were so pleased with the tasting, we were not surprised at how well everything came out on our wedding day! The day of the wedding the whole crew was gracious and patient as we had some set backs with the wedding timeline. Prior to the wedding Chef Pascal was very involved, friendly and professional... He was open to any menu changes and very flexible with making our dishes lighter without sacrificing taste. Working with Dan was a breeze - he was very attentive, out-going and professional, as well. Thank you, Dan Cady, Chef Pascal and the crew for such an outstanding dinner and exceptional service! read more

Pascal's catered my daughter's wedding in October, 150 guests for around $20/per. The quality, quantity (for the price), originality and selection of their offerings were simply stellar. The tastiest grilled veggies, giant stuffed mushrooms, empanadas, curry puffs, lobster ravioli, Tex-Mex noshes, lots of other great food stretched across their table, but frankly that's not what impressed me the most. Dan Cady and his team were so knowledgeable and thoughtful prior to the day, so well organized on the day, and so reassuring during the event, that my daughter, wife and I relaxed completely in the knowledge that they would take care of us. We weren't disappointed. The food service was artistically arranged and thoughtfully organized. The servers and bartenders/pourers were professional, bright and thoughtful, and Mr. Cady absolutely went over and above the call of duty! It simply could not have been a better night, and Mr. Cady and Pascal's Catering were a huge part of that. I'd be pleased to recommend them to anyone arranging a similar fete. All I can say is "wow, these guys are awesome"!! I used Pascal's Catering for my wedding reception and I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone and everyone. Not only are they totally professional, they are highly detail oriented, which is very important in a wedding vendor. I worked with Ivan and Dean who helped coordinate my event and they were so creative. Ivan and Dean met with me on several occasions to go over all of the details at the event site and we exchanged emails. They helped me with every question I had and I felt that everything was under control the entire time. There absolutely zero slip-ups, no mistakes, it was flawless. The prices were fantastic too - I don't think any other company could offer the highest quality of food they serve at that price. They came up with all of the ideas for decorations and I didn't even have to hire a wedding coordinator because they were on top of everything. They worked with the rental companies to book linens, tables, chairs, had them all delivered and set up the day before and the day of the event, they decorated everything and the presentation was amazing. But the food, OMG! I love their food. All my guests LOVED their food. Everyone was obsessed with their goat cheese and sun-dried tomato stuffed baby potatoes. Those things are amazing. That appetizer was the first to go. They also made this awesome pineapple custard cake for our wedding cake. We were not highly traditional so we didn't need anything fancy, but that cake was delicious and the presentation was also superb. The weather was unfortunately not very kind to us that evening and there was a huge thunderstorm that rolled in right as the event was starting and the guests were arriving. Ivan and Dean took care of it though and moved everything inside and set everything up inside within the span of 10 minutes so people didn't even notice a glitch in service and food :). Once it stopped raining about half an hour later they moved the party outside and everyone really enjoyed themselves. Once everyone started eating dinner, they had two plates of food put together for my husband and I so we didn't have to go grab our own food (it was a buffet service) and they brought us a bottle of champagne to share while we were seated. After the party they did a super quick job of cleaning everything up and they even packed the leftover food in containers for our guests to bring home on their way out. That was really above and beyond in my opinion. The staff was so courteous and kind too. Everyone was telling me how super nice the staff was and how beautiful everything was arranged. I will always remember that reception and I have nothing but pleasant memories of my experience with Pascal's Catering Company. I have a several friends who are getting married and I am recommending Pascal's to all of them. I love Ivan and Dean - they were absolutely amazing. :) read more

While searching for caterers for our February wedding we saw that Pascal's had stellar reviews. When a company has 5 stars across the board you expect an amazing experience and Dan Cady and crew delivered. They worked within our budget and provided an amazing brunch for us and our guests, even going as far as providing vegan and gluten free options. Just before the serving started, one of the staff brought my new wife and I a plate with a little bit of everything so we had a chance to chow down before the rush of "Just one quick photo" requests occurred. They even helped with clean-up after the wedding which was totally unexpected and not required of them at all. Judging from the experiences of our friends I would think we lucked out in having an amazing experience with our caterer within a totally reasonable budget. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Pascal's to anyone. From food sampling to clean-up, Pascal's was hands-down one of the best parts of an already unforgettable day. read more

Their food is fantastic. They catered our wedding last October, and we served our guests a variety of hors d'oeuvres. We had many different types from empenadas and feta cheese/spinach triangles, to tenderlion and stuffed mushrooms. It was all extremely good, and our guests ate absolutely everything! Moreover, Ivan is an awesome gentleman. He is probably the most personable man I've ever encountered in a business, ever. Who would have thought that our caterer would giving my wife moral support before she walked down the isle... that's customer service! Mind-blowing customer service. All in all, Pascals Catering is a great value. Only one word of warning, plan to accommodate about 20% more people than you have rsvp'ed to your event, because every singe one of your guests are going to stuff their faces full of Pascals awesome food...and then some. Pascal's catered our wedding last month at the Umlauf Sculpture Garden, and I cannot begin to explain how AWESOME they were! We read all the positive reviews on Yelp and decided to set up an appointment. Dan Cady helped us as we went over all the menu items and provided and excellent and generous tasting. The best decision we made (other than choosing Pascal's) was deciding to go with the Southwest Pollo Cordon Azul as a main entree. Kudos to Chef Pascal on all the food served, our guests could not stop raving about the Southwest Pollo! Our appetizers included the phyllo wild mushroom triangles, queso, texas meatballs and brushetta. The meatballs were a huge hit with all the guests! The cheese and fruit were also delicious- the strawberry's were so ripe! They even provided yummy kids meals AND served them to the kids at their tables....our families were not expecting this. The service was friendly and flawless- our family members commented on how professional the entire staff was. The bartender was a HUGE hit too- he did an awesome job and doubled as an entertainer! Everything was set up elegantly and on time by the whole crew, this was so appreciated considering our venue time constraint. The entire planning process was made so simple with Dan's help, he was so flexible and reassuring the entire time. We changed our minds at least 10 times and he never flinched. He followed through on everything, including all the details discussed during the venue walkthrough with our coordinator, she was also impressed with Dan and Pascal's! We felt as though Pascal's went above and beyond- my new husband and I talk about having another reception just so we can enjoy everything again! Fantastic job...I highly recommend to anyone looking for a flawless and friendly caterer. read more

Pascal's was the highlight of our wedding. Our friends and relatives kept raving about the food, and Ivan did an incredible job of pulling off the whole event. We can't thank them enough for going above and beyond. We tasted food from a lot of different caterers in town, and Pascal's was head and shoulders above the rest. We settled on several appetizers and two entrees. The spinach cannelloni and stuffed poblano peppers were excellent entrees when accompanied with the butternut squash ravioli with champagne sauce, Nantucket blueberry salad, and roasted winter vegetables. Appetizers that were devoured included the mushroom phyllo triangles, bruschetta, and asparagus wrapped in puff pastry. And don't miss it when a French chef does dark chocolate fondue, petitfours, and hot chocolate for dessert. We couldn't believe how much the folks at our wedding ate because everything was so scrumptious. Oh, and did we mention Pascal's was the most affordable of the bunch, too? Meanwhile, the staff was top-notch. When not too many guests were going to the bar, the bartender started roaming table to table to offer drinks. Despite the tight space, all the servers made sure everybody got served quickly. And everything was laid out efficiently and perfectly every time we changed from ceremony to cocktail hour to dinner to dessert to dancing. Most of all, Ivan was always helpful and full of good advice over six months' time from planning to execution. We did not need a wedding planner because he was so generous and thoughtful. It just would not have been the same wonderful wedding without Pascal's and we cannot recommend them highly enough. read more

Pascal's made our Wedding a hit! We were recently wed 5/17/14 out in a rural Manor venue in the evening hours. They arrived right on time and were extremely professional. After we had the initial taste test at their business, we knew they were the right choice. We are Pescatarians (we eat fish and veggies only) and had our menu reflect this. Our menu included Veggie Quesadillas, Mushroom and Gorgonzola mini quiches, Focaccia with pesto sauce, Pecan crusted Tilapia, Quinoa and mushroom stuffed peppers, garlic and herb roasted potatoes and grilled veggies. All our guests (including the non vegetarians) were extremely impressed with the taste and flavor. Everyone is still talking about how good the food was. They even offered to remake our plate when we were running late from taking photos. Everything looked and tasted to perfection. I would recommend them to anyone looking for professional service and out of this world food! They also provided wait staff and a bartender whom was very polite and curteous throughout the entire evening. read more

I cannot rave enough about Pascal's Catering. I agree with a previous yelp review when they said that when you hire Pascal's, you're really paying for Dan Cady. From the beginning until the end, my fiance and I were ridiculously impressed by Dan. His communication with his clients is impeccable, and he always got back to me within 24 hours, if even that. We got married at Zilker Clubhouse, and on the day of our walk through he made me feel 10x better than I had been feeling about the organization of the wedding. I knew from the way he conducted our walk through that he truly understands how weddings work, from how to set up, to the order of the wedding, to where things should be placed strategically. On the day of the wedding, my mind was blown further. Dan and his team went above and beyond, and even did a lot of the things I told them my bridesmaids would do, such as set up the centerpieces. My bridesmaids arrived to set them up, and voila, they were already set up perfectly. Dan paid so much attention to detail, such as going around lighting candles that had been blown out. His crew is so receptive, helpful, and professional. I cannot thank them enough, and our wedding wouldn't have been the same or as flawless as it was without them. The food itself is extremely affordable. WIthout taking into consideration service and set up and rentals, we paid approximately $25/person for food. This included 3 appetizers (crab cakes, stuffed mushrooms, meatballs) and a 2 entree buffet (pecan encrusted tilapia, chicken penne pasta) with some sides (grilled polenta, veggies, rice). The food is really good ... unfortunately we didn't have the opportunity to try our appetizers since we were so busy with photographs! However, the entrees were so good, so fresh, and perfectly seasoned. In general everything was just very wholesome tasting, almost as if you were eating a delicious home cooked meal. We provided all supplies, such as table linens, silverware, plates, etc. They were super receptive to that, and it saved us a lot of money by providing things ourselves. We just dropped off supplies the week of and they took care of everything from there. We also brought in pizza from another company, and Pascal's was fine with that. I don't know what else to say. Hire this company. They go above and beyond for you and you will not regret it. Trust me. read more

To put it simply, if you need a caterer in the Austin area, choose Pascal's. From start to finish, their professionalism, flexibility, and quality of food and service well exceeded our expectations. After our initial inquiry, Dan Cady quickly responded and worked with us to set up a tasting date (you'd be surprised how many caterers never even respond to your inquiries). After our tasting, we knew immediately that Pascal's would cater our wedding. The food, in both its quality and variety, blew us away and their prices were beyond reasonable. Once we signed with them, Dan contacted us periodically to help us finalize our plans as we moved towards the big day. He was always responsive to our questions and was able to provide great insight if we had any trouble making decisions. And when we had trouble figuring out how to set up our venue for the reception, Dan and his crew stepped in and made it happen for us. To say they did a great job the night of our reception is an understatement. They took our (to be fair, already pretty venue) and transformed it into something beautiful that reflected the spirit of our celebration. The food was just as good as at the tasting and there was more than enough for all our guests. Moreover, the service was excellent throughout the evening. I'm naturally a critical person, and I cannot honestly say nothing bad about this company and the great people that make it up. If we ever need catering services in the future, Pascal's will be our first choice. read more
