I was so shocked…read moreto see that while it is a skateshop there are lots of other things in there such as socks, shorts, stickers etc. I ended up purchasing a pair of cute socks for my daughter (who is not a skater). If you are a skater this place is a dream. They have everything from the boards, to special wheels, to shoes, shirts everything you need. The customer service is great too. The owner is very knowledgeable and doesn't mind sharing his knowledge! There is plenty of parking in the front or back for free so no excuses not to stop in!

I had tried every version I could buy on Amazon and none of them fit. My 9 year old got me into skateboard a few years back. I recently got some decks second hand and needed trucks, bearings, and hardware too. They had everything I needed in stock for almost the same price as online. I was super stoked to get everything same day in their skate shop and also happy I found a helmet that actually fit! Got to take a look inside the park, very excited to try it out with my kids. I was so thrilled that Crazy Skate Company had one pair left and it was my size! Unfortunately, when the skates arrived, the lights did NOT work! The most they did was make a little flicker when I first tried them, but that is all they did! I contacted (emailed) Crazy Skate Company about a return. I was granted a return but found out that Crazy Skate Company does NOT pay return shipping. I had to pay $30.00 to return a DEFECTIVE pair of skates. This is a bad business practice! I am furious that I had to pay $30.00, (which is a third of the price of the skates) for Crazy Skate Company to take their DEFECTIVE skates back. I will never do business with them again, and I highly suggest you do the same!

He explained the pricing method for the hand weights and the difference between the types available. He had me in and out in a matter of minutes with exactly what I told him I needed. This place has TONS of second hand sporting equipment in here. I was really awestruck by the amount of inventory they carry on hand. We don't have a huge need for sports equipment, but I will definitely come back next time we do. Why pay full retail if you don't have to?

When I returned, the bike shop guy was very helpful with information about the town and other places to check out. The store itself is a shotgun style with high ceilings, so they can stack bikes two rows high and even hang rims from the top. They also have lots of accessories and items for skateboarding too. When you walk in, it looks a bit cluttered with the space being so narrow, but if you need anything, you can simply ask the staff to help you. Seemed pretty knowledgeable. I can't say how good the repair service or even how competitive the pricing is since I haven't bought a bike in years. This store great, but if you need to return anything watch out! I had to return a $150 sweatshirt…read morewhich never arrived back at the store. I enquired about it's where about's and was told that their returns take ages to get to them and not to worry (I have all these emails). I checked the tracking details and my return had In fact made it all the way to their nearest Post Office in Indianapolis and then disappeared. This tracking status remained this way for months. I made yet another enquiry and was told again not to worry, but to go ahead and file a missing package report just incase as it happens a lot with their returns. It might get things moving, I was told. I then made further enquiries with my own local Post Office and was told it may have been picked up or collected, but did not make it back to the store. I am now about to make a missing package claim for compensation for my "lost" item, even though I cannot expect to receive more than $100 for this total headache.
