Summary: This company does truly care about customer satisfaction. As David and Tom told me after…read morethings went awry: "We don't always get it perfect, but when we don't we try hard to make it right." I reached out to start the quote process a little before Thanksgiving and was quickly responded to. I scheduled a Zoom-based overview of the materials and services offered with David, as well as provided some information about my property and the windows that I thought I'd need to have replaced. The next step involved David visiting my home to measure each of the windows and assess their surroundings when putting together an estimate. He even brought a floor model window for me to test the ease of sliding it open and closed (it was very easy). Next, he provided me a quote for the six windows we had identified replacing, which included a Black Friday discount. The total was around $5k for materials and labor. I ended up swapping one window for another and he quickly updated the estimate for me. No pressure or need for down payment. After consulting with my wife, we agreed to move forward and the next step was for a technician to come and measure the windows to a quarter inch so that the dimensions would be sent off to the SoCal manufacturer and the windows constructed over the next 2-4 weeks. The technician also assessed the surrounding area of each window and told me what would need to be cleared to make space for the installation. Soon we got a call that the windows were built and ready to install. We were scheduled for first thing on Saturday, Dec 27, and were told that it would take most of the day but all of the work would be completed in the one day. On Saturday morning, Frank the installer arrived with another installer and got to work. We had moved lots of items away from the windows as needed, and throughout the day we saw the technicians as they would traverse the stairs and through the front door with materials, occasionally saying "hi" and just checking on how things were going. Later in the afternoon, Frank called me up for a walkthrough and then informed me he had two major problems: 1. All six windows measured were such that they required spacers around them to fill gaps that were visible on the inside. For some reason, they were not ordered initially. 2. Only five of the windows had been sealed from the outside because one window had a tree encroaching on it and they couldn't get a ladder up to seal it. Neither of the two visits had noted that. Tom was called and apprised of the situation at the end of the walkthrough, and with a new storm a few days away and one window not sealed, I went into panic mode. I emailed a full recounting of the situation to David, and began hunting for a tree trimmer to come ASAP so that the window could at least be sealed or the old window reinstalled before the rains. The next day, Tom called me and told me they were ordering the spacers and would have them by Monday, and that Frank could come and trim the tree so that I wouldn't have to pay for a separate trimmer. We ended up scheduling for Tuesday, and Frank showed up solo to finish the job. He trimmed the tree and disposed of the materials, added the spacers and sealed everything remaining. When all was said and done, we were happy with the windows and the way the company worked to make it right (and on a tight schedule). We did have to keep everything in its temporary locations for another few days, and we did have to get vocal about our frustrations, but Smart Window Company finished the job and called to check in on us after to make sure everything was good. The next storm hit and we haven't had any issues yet. The product is solid, and the company cares where it matters.

They demolished the shower and tub one day and took away all the debris. Then, the next day, they built the frame and installed the new walk in shower exactly as we requested. They were pleasant to have on our property and we're considerate in where they set up their workstation and parked their trucks. We did have a challenge posed by the installation day with company coming to visit us... And they worked out a mutually agreed upon date that met our needs. He measured our windows and asked us when we would like to have them installed. He told us that it takes three days to manufacture to spec. Mr Flores and his assistant came out and replaced our windows within a day. He hauled away our old windows, cleaned the new windows and rehung our window co rings - drapes and blinds. He also came out for a couple of hours the following day to caulk the outside of the windows and to make sure we were satisfied. We were impressed with his communication / letting us know when he would arrive, if he was running late and answering any questions we had. We ended up with ten double panes single hung windows with argon gas in between the glass. We were told that the argon helps to retain heat in the winter and keep out heat in the summer. The windows have a to tint to them so you can't see in from the outside. We were so impressed with his professional ism, his dedication to his craft that we plan to use him for another one of our homes.

We also went with a company that would not shy away from new construction windows since we knew we had termite damage around one of the windows. They did a great job and the extra cost for new construction was well worth it. The window company they use is located in Anaheim and has a showroom and is very comparable with Milgard and Anlin windows. Communication with Josh was super easy and fast through text and I'd highly recommend him.

By not removing your door frames they not only save a huge amount of time and cost but also sawdust and damage to the walls. They literally installed 15 doors in my home in three hours total with all new hardware. To start the process, Matt brought in their proprietary device that precisely measures each entire door frame and hinge locations within a couple thousandths of an inch. The resulting doors fit absolutely precisely in my 40 year old home. Once the doors are made, their installation is a snap. Matt, Johann, and Jesse arrived right on time and very politely and efficiently went about their work. They worked quietly and cleaned up the tiny amount of sawdust they generated. They replace all your old painted over hinges, lock plates and door stops. The resulting doors fit perfectly with automotive-level consistent clearances. They swing easily and lock reliably. I manage several large commercial buildings and frequently need glass of all types for one reason or another. Quick response is often essential and almost all the glass shops out there seem to be seeing just how much they can fool someone into paying. Today, the shop I had been using for decades told me they couldn't even look at my order for 5 days, I knew I had to find a new contact for my glass and spent several hours looking for my new good source. I looked everywhere. Everyone had super inflated prices and it was very discouraging. It would have taken days to get what I needed. Finding Versa Glass was like hitting the jackpot. Not only did Ryan jump in to quickly take care of what I needed but asked me if i wanted Tempered glass. I thought no way, it would take too long. Not so with this great company. It was unbelievable how fast he was abe to deliver this specialized glass that normally takes days. So far, These are the best guys l've worked with for decades. I LOVE these guys! I had an idiot gardener break my bedroom window just before the hottest week of the year, and I was calling all sorts of jerks who wouldn't give me straight answers on fixing my window, or who wanted to only do those modern windows with the weird frames and double paned windows, neither of which I wanted, or wanted to pay for; then I found Versa Glass, and they are nearby, they were really informative and friendly on the telephone, came by next day, were very reasonable and rational and explanatory in their assessment and estimate, and even negotiated with me on the price, and I got a discount for doing a Yelp review! I am very happy with the repair work from Versa Glass Co. I called for an estimate to repair a broken panel in a Milgard double hung window. Ryan explained how the window was constructed and offered to send over a technician for a free estimate to repair or replace. Sam came by, measured the window, and advised me of my options. Both of these guys were great to deal with, and I decided to have them fabricate a new one inch thick insulated panel for the existing window. About a week later Emmit the installer came out, removed the old panel and installed the new one. It fit perfectly and looks great. Emmit really knows his stuff and it shows! He is a real pro and made this tricky installation look easy. He also provided some very handy gardening advice. Just wanted to say, this company is a life saver. I came down to socal to visit my grandparents and i accidentally threw a football through their glass sliding doors during a bbq. My grandparents were so kind to me though and i wanted to repay them by getting their entire door replaced. So i ended up calling Versa after a friend recommended them to me and Sam was my estimator. Purchased a condo with what I soon learned was a "foggy window"... apparently the argon gas that fills the void between dual panes can dissipate with age and allows moisture to become trapped. They repaired a broken double pane window for me in three days, whereas in another occasion, it toke me two weeks just to get the materials from a major window company. Three pluses of this company: 1. They showed up on time as promised 2. They delivered the product on time. 3. Their work is neat and clean. He went above and beyond to accommodate our unusual request to paint the window frames silver due to our HOA's specific rule about color matching. His team did five window installations in one day and kept our home super clean. One of screens came with a small defect from the manufacturer - we didn't notice until months later and told him about it. He replaced the screen immediately with no extra charge. We're super happy with our new windows - they block the heat and UV lights extremely well! We got quotes from 5 different vendors and picked Zetino Glass for responsiveness and price, and we could not be happier with our decision!
