I called on a Monday to inquire. They showed up as promised at 8am the next morning. The owner went straight to work, finished in no time. He left the area clean when finished and the price was reasonable. read more

Rufino did a great job! Replaced the glass in a few hours and made everything easy! Thanks Rufino!

Rufino was great. I had three windows that were leaking water inside. He studied the windows, identified the root cause of the issue and addressed the problems. In two cases the windows hadn't been installed properly and had no weep holes. We've lived hear for 10 years and only started having issues this year. Not many providers offered this service. I highly recommend this business. read more

Window in bedroom shattered at night as we tried to call it. There was a hairline fracture we hadn't seen. We're on the first floor. It was 9pm on a Sunday night. To say I wasn't a happy camper is an understatement. I used Yelp to send out an SOS and Flamingo contacted me in 10 minutes. Sent some questions and asked for a pic. He gave me a quote over the phone, said he'd be at my home at 10am. On the dot, he was there (with texts along the way). The price was exactly as advertised. The work was outstanding. Clean up, too. I could not recommend him highly enough. Personable and friendly and super-professional. read more

Literally the absolute best! We had a window in our living room shatter due to a bb gun or something. He was so quick, kind, easy and really gets the job done. He encountered some challenges with the glue on the window and said he was concerned he wouldn't be able to get the job done and...he got it done! He went and got more tools and was so professional. I would literally hire him for all window needs forever and ever. We moved to a new house and I'm calling him the second we have window needs. read more

Love Flamingo Window!! Unfortunately, my place was broken into and I needed to install a new window and bars asap and Flamingo Window came to the rescue. The owner was incredible, he came by the day I called and gave me a quote, and said he could have it all installed by Friday. He totally understood what I was going through, and I was so happy to have found them. Also, the new window is the best. I love it so much...I now what to replace my Kitchen Window. Flamingo Window did a great job and quoted me a fair price for the rush job. I highly recommend them for all your window and security bar needs. Here is a photos of the work they did! read more

I send Ruffino a yelp message after reading all of the great reviews. And then we chatted on the phone and he asked me to send a pic of my patio door via text. From that he text me back a estimate and then he came out the next day to take a look in person. He confirmed the estimate and I drove to his shop a couple days later to provide the deposit. I stressed the need to have the door installed by a certain date even though it was tight because of the time needs to make the door BUT he came through. I plan to replace all of the windows in my home and will be working with Ruffino. I've already passed on his info to my sister for her to replace her broken patio door too. I had to take one star away because he doesn't work late hours or Saturdays which is basically terrible for anyone with a full time job and bc he came with the wrong door and had to come back the next day. read more

Ruffino is the best when it comes to windows and bars! Fast friendly service. Very punctual with turn around times. Kept us informed the entire time about our order. If you are looking for windows or security bars this is your place to go! read more

Ruffino of Flamingo Windows did an excellent job on replacing the windows in one of my duplex units. He replaced 14 windows in a day and a half. Him and his crew were very proffesional and there was minimal clean up afterwards. Ruffino was very insightful on what type of window would work best given the sizes. He also thoroughly walked me around to every window he replaced to show me the finished product. Bottom line is I would highly recommend Flamingo Windows to anyone. His price was the lowest quote I received as well. read more

At first, all the glowing reviews were right. I messaged Rufino via Yelp for a quote for 3 window screens and got a response within an hour to call him to talk about quotes. This was Tuesday, March 28, and he quoted me $30 for my larger window screen (black fiber mesh on aluminum) which I thought was a great price. On Wednesday, March 29, I texted him to let him know I would like to order the window screen from him and can pick it up when ready. I don't hear back from him until this morning, March 30, and he confirms my dimensions and that I still want black fiber mesh on aluminum. But today he tells me it's $35 instead. Fine, whatever. I let him know I don't get out of work until 4:30 pm and he says that's okay, he'll be at his store until 5:30 pm and that he's cash only. To make sure I get there on time, I use one of those ATMS that charge a high service fee and make the 45 minute trek during rush hour to get to his store only to find that it's closed! So I call Rufino, asking where he is, he confirms he knew I was coming to pick up the screen, and then without any hint of any wrongdoing, he just says, "Oh, I did something else. Can you come back in an hour?" Of course, no, I will not wait another hour for him for an appointment that we made! When I ask him to just cancel my order he simply says, "Okay" and hangs up on me. No apologies or anything. Rufino is rude, completely unprofessional, unreliable, and has zero customer skills. Buyer beware his changing prices, wavering work ethic, and his lack of respect for customers' time and resources. read more

Fast same day repair of a shattered double pane window at a very reasonable cost. Thank you!

This is my long overdue review for Flamingo Windows! I am so, so grateful for Ruffino. He is amazing. This business is so accommodating and helpful. I love our new windows. The quality is fantastic. I couldn't say much more but definitely go with this business. We ordered vinyl windows (4 in total, including one large picture window) and the custom measurements were perfect and they are so beautiful. We also had to make some last-minute changes that were quite difficult to navigate, but Ruffino was an absolute angel and met all of our needs. Thank you so much Flamingo Windows and Ruffino! We will definitely come back here in the future. Also, thank you to our mutual friend Miguel for recommending you to us!!! read more

We had a beautiful arched window that was one of the centerpieces of our old 1920s home shatter. After weeks of trying to get a response from other companies and telling us we'd have to wait weeks for custom frames, we decided to give them a try. They came the same day and took time to walk us through pricing, installation and finally put us at ease! They got the custom cut glass in less than 4 days, and came to install it the next day. They were efficient, friendly, and did amazing work! Plus we have security bars they removed and reinstalled with no problems. You won't regret making them your first call! read more

I shattered a 5 ft window while moving out if my apartment. It was a disaster. I called around and got a few quotes for the repair. Rufino's (the owner) quote was not the cheapest but he was the only person who offered to send a guy out for the job right then and there. I asked him if he would be able to match the lowest quote I received and come out that day and he said yes right away. Awesome. Got the window fixed within 3 hours of calling and matched the cheapest quote. Definitely 5 stars. read more

I had my job completed by the owner himself. The job came out fantastic. I appreciate him coming the same day to measure windows. The prices were fair. He was honest and I appreciate the work he did. Thank you. read more

Made an appointment 3 days ago for the afternoon and as the hours slipped past to almost 4 o'clock I called the vendor to see if he was still coming. Judging by the way they spoke to me (which was a bit rudely) I'm pretty sure they had no idea that they were going to come by today. Also the guy who I spoke to did not understand what a "stuck" window was. Even if your English is not the best (and FYI he had an accent but spoke English just fine) I would think key phrases such as STUCK would be a word worth picking up in this business; "Window does not open." Was easier to understand. Anyways. That was when he explained to me they do not get windows unstuck, or work on the types of windows my building has, but rather just make new windows or replace glass. Why was I not told this three days ago...? He suggested I did not explain myself correctly when I spoke to them the first time. Which is not true I did. So its my fault you didn't show up at all and suddenly can't work on my windows? i think they lost the appointment, its close to quitting time on a Friday, and they blew me off. I do not recommend anyone rely on this guy. read more

Rufino is the consummate professional. What started out as a disaster -- our pilates machine crashing through our 100-year-old bedroom window -- ended less than 24 hours later with a beautiful replacement and no sign of the mishap. He assessed our needs over the phone, showed up on time the very next day, completed the work on-site in about 30 minutes, and stuck to the fee he quoted us. Friendly, efficient, fairly-priced, and highly-skilled! read more

Flamingo Windows (Ruben) was awesome. I explained the problem over the phone, he gave me a price and on we went with the window. They showed up on time as promised, got the job done and was very affordable. 1/2 of what a non-local business was charging me. I try to use local business as much as possible. I'd recommend Flamingo Windows to anyone in need of reliable, inexpensive window repair/replacemnet people. Thanks again read more
