    a plate of food

This may be my first Yelp review because I don't understand how it is okay that the employee on the phone ensured me that the broccoli bites don't have bacon in them but for the second time now, they have bacon in them. It doesn't say it on the menu (because why would a basic broccoli bite have anything besides cheese in it) & I just think it is very dishonest to not only not have it written on the menu but for the employee to say "they are sure" when I expressed that it has happened in the past so I was worried about it happening again. I thought I was crazy the first time this happened but the sorta smokey taste was a giveaway that something was off. This time I had others try them to confirm that bacon was indeed in them.

a plate of chicken wings and a burrito

Verree express is my go-to wing spot, I've only eaten wings here before, but I decided to get a chicken chaser wrap today too. The wrap was horrible, the chicken was chewy and fatty, seemed like extremely low quality chicken and I'm actually kind of worried I might get sick from it. The wings today were really bad too, that's a first for me from here. The sauce was different and weird, very off putting, and again the chicken wing meat also seemed low quality and chewy. First time I can honestly say that the celery was the best part of the meal. I Hope they didn't get new owners or something because this was probably the worst meal I've ever gotten delivered from anywhere.

Floppy pizza...wtf, how am I supposed to eat this?!

DISGRACEFUL!!!!! I would give zero stars if I could to this place. How do you serve someone a soggy ass disgusting pizza that you can't even hold up to eat. No one should have to eat pizza with a knife and fork. This place should be out of business. NEVER will I order from here again. I'd rather eat dinner at the Sunoco next door. Don't waste your money here!

    My "chicken Parmesan"

Ordered chicken parmigiana for lunch today. I asked for penne pasta and received french fries instead. But everyone makes mistakes once in awhile right? So my coworker ordered a hoagie, but she forgot to say hold the soggy Roll. I wouldn't try an make this up I'm telling you! Here's the picture of my. So after we waited for literally one hour for the food to come, when I open my platter the chicken was wrapped in foil. as I opened up the foil all of the cheese came off with the foil and there was nothing left but a soggy piece of chicken drenched in spaghetti sauce. So, my suggestion would be to find a different way of wrapping the chicken, getting a person who takes the orders who actually can take them right, and I don't know about the rolls! Maybe a Little less sogginess!

The moment we arrived, we were greeted by a bartender whose hostility was immediate and inescapable. His disdain for customers was so palpable that nearly every patron at the bar was openly discussing it, people were literally afraid to order drinks from him. He met every request with eye rolling contempt, as if our very presence was an imposition. Later in the night, when I ordered a drink from a different spot at the bar, he barked at me for doing so. Apparently that wasn't "how things worked here." Never mind that the bar was nearly empty and obviously unassigned seating. The pettiness was staggering. That was my breaking point. I called him out for his abusive treatment of paying customers.. Instead of addressing the obvious problem, a manager approached me with a threat: "We know how he is, but if you don't relax, you're gonna have to leave." Let that sink in. Rather than deal with a employee with an apparent pattern of hostility, they chose to intimidate a customer for voicing a legitimate complaint. Multiple patrons actually thanked me afterward, they'd endured the same treatment all night but lacked the nerve to speak up. I documented the experience on their Instagram. They deleted it immediately. This isn't a bad night...it's a culture problem. Paulie Gees has chosen protection over accountability, and their customers are the ones paying the price. I won't be back, and I'd urge others to take their business elsewhere.

The dish was delicious. I enjoyed my plate of sea-inspired tonnarelli nero. Bay scallops in crab ragu with fennel sofrito. Served with squid ink pasta that imparted a slight brininess. The pasta was cooked pangrattato style-- coated in panko bread crumbs and garlic. The dish had many flavors but they all came back to the theme. Cocktail prices and entree prices were very reasonable. They offer happy hour drinks and specials. Certainly a very good choice if you're in the area.

I personally would order this as my meal if I could. room temp, oily, good crunch to soft ratio. Judion Beans: good beans. they are on a similar wavelength as butter beans. honestly I get them for the table for the extra bowl of oil at the bottom to dip the crusts in. Creamy Oregano Salad: very interesting. small shaves of mushroom and fennel. very slight bitter taste. oddly addictive. the olives were my favorite part. i'd consider these friendly olives to those suspicious of olives. and the olives are cut in halves, so easy to pick out. so are the mushrooms. easy split for a table of four. beyond that i'd get two. *ADD ON* pickled chilies: very good. I suggest adding this to the pie. they are green, spicy, delicious, absolutely lovely. Corn Pizza: all together very delicious. my favorite part are the cherry tomatoes on top, which I would really like to be an add on option to other pies. they are the perfect flavor and size. i'm not particularly a tomato fan, especially whole. these are a rare exception. Classic Pizza?: solid, no notes. good as always. My only wish is that they offered a sauce to dip my crust in. they have very good crust, perfect ration of crispy and fluffy. just needs a sauce. If you liked spicy, you'll love the arrabbiata. The cream and cherry pepper vinaigrette on the red pepper pizza was so perfectly savory with a hint of acidity.
