Hands down the best massage I've ever received. I walked in tense, tight, and with a lot of stiffness throughout my body. I left feeling springy, loose, and rejuvenated. Each time I've gone, I've left with this feeling, and it positively affects any workouts afterwards, whether it be later in the day or week. Not to mention Im much more loose at work and not straining when sitting at my desk. Veronica definitely knows what she's doing. It's very powerful and effective what she's able to do. I lift and run about 6 times a week, and sit at a desk too many hours a day, so I build up knots and tightness very quickly. It really is amazing how I can describe my symptoms or what I'm feeling to her and she has the knowledge and ability to go above and beyond taking care of it I highly recommend going. I could go on and on saying the benefits and advantages and gains you will feel physically and mentally after going to her. I come to Capitol Rehab to see Veronica Yeh for massages... she is an AMAZING CMT (certified massage therapist). Veronica makes sure to diagnose what my issues are and work specifically on the areas that I have requested treatment first, unlike many other therapists who just work through a routine mindlessly and don't focus on the problem areas your request. She has experience as a therapist as for DC United, working on the pro MLS players, so I come to here knowing I am in good hands with a reputable therapist that has treated athletes of a pro sports team. In addition, she works with tri-athletes, marathon runners, and gymnasts! Veronica is courteous, professional, timely, and gives great pressure, I would highly recommend her to any of my friends and family for pain, sports and relaxation massage for sure! She is always learning new techniques and really cares about providing work that actually improves your well-being, not just giving you a foo-foo relaxing massage with no pressure. Veronica is awesome! I injured my rotator cuff about 4 months ago and have been experiencing pain and limited range of motion on my shoulder. A friend recommended a session with Veronica and I'm glad I took his advice. She greeted me at the door and made me feel comfortable from the minute I walked in. After filling out some paperwork and telling her about my injury she led me to the massage room which was very pleasant and relaxing. Her massage was tough and exactly what I needed. She loosened every tight muscle and very quickly found the spots that were making my injury worse. By the end of our session I was convinced that my injury would improve but I didn't realized how much until the next day. My range of motion dramatically increased and my pain significantly lessened. I booked a massage with Veronica after doing research on the potential benefits of using myofascial release to help reduce pain and increase motion. I have had persistent shoulder pain during long runs for the past two years. During the first massage, she concentrated nearly the whole hour on my shoulders. I could feel the muscles twitching as they released months of knots. I can honestly say the shoulder pain was significantly reduced following the massage. Since then, I have seen Veronica twice more, (about 1 every month) with each time resulting in less tension in my shoulders and thankfully I have been able to move to a full body massage. I'm a long time patient of Capital Rehab (Dr. Beck and Lynn Stewart). Last year I added a medical massage prior to my appointments. What an amazing difference and response my body had by including this service. Now I just need a medical massage to work out knots and pain. Veronica is an amazing massage therapist! I decided to take up massage therapy because a few years ago I broke my right femur and now have a rod and nailing in my hip. Veronica is one of the best massage therapists I've had. Her extensive knowledge of anatomy and therapy techniques to treat pain and injury are second to none. I've been going to Veronica for a little over six months and I just bought another nine massage package. The great thing about her massage, besides the actual massage itself, is that you can "buy" a multiple massage package at a reduced rate, but only pay as you use them! Veronica is an attentive and amazing CMT. I came across her practice while seeing a chiropractor at the same location -- I have been seeing her for approximately one to two times per month this past year. For the last four years I have been battling a recurring lower back issue which is the result of an L4/L5 vertebrae injury. She knows how to find tight muscles and get to them with just the right amount of pressure. She listened to the type of activities that I do, and tailored the therapy towards that direction.
