I hope I don't regret not gatekeeping this place. I had a massage and when I tell you it was the FIRST TIME i actually enjoyed myself. Normally I'm in too much pain to relax as they work through my knots. But when I tell you, the perfect pressure, speed, and technique, I will definitely be going back! The price is affordable for the area. Best of all I didn't wake up sore the next morning read more

I wish I had stayed home. I visited on a Saturday with two people. We booked ahead on the website -- $72 for 45 minute deep tissue massage, per person. We were running about 10 minutes late, but we called them and let them know. When we arrived, the front desk staff barely said anything to us and just whisked us back into the massage room. They barely welcomed us, they didn't ask about any focus areas or preferences, and it seems like they were not the strongest communicators. We got a very basic massage with a mix of back, legs, and arms. It was not at all a deep tissue massage. It was not relaxing. It was not worth it. I didn't feel anything at the end; like, I might as well not have gotten a massage at all. When we were done, they whisked us to the counter to pay. Again, not very friendly or communicative. There is a sign on the counter that says there is a $5 charge for paying with credit card, but thankfully they did not charge us that. The place is very barebones, like the service. They have about 6 massage rooms. We were the only ones there, and I got the impression there was only more than one staff person there because we booked in advance. FYI They have some coupons on Groupon. read more

I called ahead and asked for price. Was informed of it being $240 for 2 people to have a 90 minute deep tissue massage. When it came time to pay they had $250 on the credit card machine. When i asked about the additional $10 she insisted that they had a credit card fee. That should definitely be said upfront to inform people to bring cash to get the same rates listed. Good massage with a female there, but i really don't appreciate leaving bliss to wake up to that. Bring cash read more

Good massage! Got one before getting on a flight. Close to DCA. Convenient and clean

The reflexology massage itself was good. I originally booked for 60 minutes and at the end was so relaxed I added 30 minutes. This was the mistake. Once I told her to continue...the staff decide to have a lengthy conversation that was totally disruptive to the peace I originally had. This went on for 10 min. I told the desk person as she was walking by how frustrated I was. She said she would take off 10 min. She was the only one who would lose money as the receptionist. She then went to the desk and the staff decided to continue talking for the rest of my service. There are no doors here so it peace and relaxation are the intent, I would not recommend as the staff don't care and would rather talk than keep customers. read more

I'm sooooooooo happy I found this place. Couple of benefits that I will sum up for y'all: - convenient location, right in the underground shopping center by Crystal City station. It's walking distance for me so you can't beat it. -It's not one of those fancy spa places but it certainly is clean and cozy. -You can get same day appointments. -$70 for a hour long message!! I haven't seen at all around here! They even automatically include hot stones. -You can adjust the strength of the massage. They also do cover every area from head to toe. -Everyone is so nice and sweet, Coco gives the best massages though! Please don't sleep on this place! read more

Jade Massage Center - Massage Near Me - Arlington, Virginia

11/19/22 Looked at their website and saw no prices for services listed. I will see what I can find when i stop by in person. This place does accept insurance so this is a plus. The business has gone up in price to $70 an hour from the $60 dallors it use to be. *Good news/Bad news in a nut shell Good News: The good news is this place does have heated mattress pad. The massage table can be elevated by floor switch. Hot stone massage is offered too without extra charge. Hot towels are in the massage room so there no leaving the room and wasting time. Clicks are visible so you can see how much time has passed. Bad news: The same towels used on me ended up back in the hot towel dispenser for reheating. If this is a normal practice, other people's skin cells and other unknowns are put back on to the new towels. Curtains are not closed so any Frank, Dick and Jane can see you. 1 hour body massage is only my back, bit of glutes and little bit of thighs. Everything else is skipped. This excludes the genitals. Hidden cameras in the rooms so Ms. Lillehammer watch you with pleasure...if not in person through the open curtains. Cheated on body massage if only three areas are covered on the body.* Well everything is not everything is not copacetic. I just received a body massage, only may back and some of the glutes were done. Oh, and a little bit of thighs too. This makes a former massage place called Health Magic look like the Vienna Boys Choir. Imagine buying a new vehicle and when it arrives, the car/truck has no seats or wheels. This is the extent of what Jade Massage Center has to offer. It is for this very reason I have refused to pay. Yes, I am on camera and yes, other people heard me and the manager talking about massage ethics. We have officially come to an impasse. The police have been called and now we wait. While waiting for the police, I reflect on the fact the manager has the curtains open so customers, associates and the managers can see one getting massaged. During our talk the manager said she had cameras in the room. Whether or not other guest getting massage during out talks heard this, it has been recorded on the camera...maybe. The manager says no to me paying $35 dallors for the massage I received. She wants a minimum amount of $60 at most. "Nothing doing" I say. So we continue to wait. I will give this to 3:00pm and then make a decision. I sense there will be three different stories and two of them will be from the manager and Anna making me to be the monster. Well if you live long enough I guess you really do become the villain. I stand behind my decision and she stands behind hers. Well the police finally show up, but one of the two got lost in the mall area. One of the officer said he is a Ravens fan too after seeing my outfit. As luck would have it. Ms. Lillehammer ended up winning the dispute with the officer siding with her. Was I prepared to get arrested? Yes, but I decided to to get an arrest record. The officer did tell me other ways of fighting back even though I wasn't going to win this battle. Well the battle is over, but this war is far from over. In the mean time, if you come to this meander bad souls BEWARE the front part of your body doesn't get done according to Ms Lillehammer. She aitmitted to having cameras in the rooms as; as well, as wating me through the open curtains. Yes, Anna or whatever her name is did ask me if I was enjoying the massage. I enjoyed the back masssge. I enjoyed the glutes massage. I enjoyed the thighs massage, but many many times I signaled for her Anna to massage harder using her hands. Not elbows or forearms. She fail. It is an epic fail when you do not cover the curtains properly. And it is calls for law suit when you are told by the manager there are cameras in the massage rooms. As Katie Perry put it "So you wanna play with magic? Boy/Girl, you should know what you're fallin' for Baby, do you dare to do this? 'Cause I'm coming at you like a dark horse (hey)" read more

The service here was phenomenal! The staff were so friendly and provided water after the massage. I was there for an hour and a half massage. The masseuse was amazing and used hot stone during the massage. read more

I gave it two massages and 3 hours (1.5 hours each) & it's a heck no for me dawg!!! Yes, the prices are great but I work hard for my money so every penny of mine will be counted and spent on AMAZING things. The place is terribly situated in the mall and any noise from the outside carries inside. The cubicles used give no true privacy and you can hear all the other massages/conversations going on in the shop. Other patrons seem to come for the conversation cause they and their masseuses chat with reckless abandon!! First trip I had a lady... she literally dug her bony fingers and elbows into my body after requesting many times that she soften her technique to no avail. Second trip, a man presented himself and I thought we had it in the bag but nahhh, this man massaged my back, glutes and shoulders then proceeded to play with my feet for 30 mins. No legs, thighs or arms. Once he began to towel off the oil I felt as if I was being exfoliated, sorry Mr. my color is not something that wipes off-- it was so hard and aggressive, I truly was like yo, WTH. Oh and if you just need to be touched, go after 5, cause the construction going on atop the street can be heard AND felt throughout the workday. I felt the shop literally tremble and my massage went on as if nothing was happening. This place is a total letdown & I will keep searching cause this place is NOT IT. read more

It's been a long while since I've treated myself to a massage. I recently moved to Crystal City so I wanted a place that would be walking distance to my apartment. The owner was very kind. I received a text message an hour before the appointment as a reminder and he even called since it was a little hard to find. He was standing at the door to welcome us. (Note: it's inside Crystal City Shops and you walk some ways and take a left. ) The place was super clean. The blankets were warm. The towels smelled nice like they were just washed with a hint of spa-like aromatherapy. The full body massage was an hour long and it was more than I could ask for. The owner asked what my focus areas were and now I have no tension or pain. I loved that they also add in hot stones with the massages here. I came out feeling SUPER relaxed, and they provided a hot towel to wipe off your body after the massage, and a bottle of water. You'll feel like a million bucks after your massage, and the massage itself is AFFORDABLE!! That being said, I am planning on becoming a regular here. It's also right by all the restaurants in Crystal City so you can treat yourself to a yummy meal after your massage. Don't hesitate to visit- treat yourself! read more

Excellent massage! The place is simple, very clean and well taken care of, I felt really safe and comfortable here. The staff is lovely too. The masseuse was excellent, very respectful and very good at adjusting pressure based on your body. I felt very comfortable and I could have easily paid for another hour because of how relaxed I was. I will be a regular here, my only regret is not coming to them sooner because this place is such a hidden gem! The pricing is very good and the quality is beyond expectations. Bring cash for tips, although they do add them on to your credit card if you're like me and forget. read more

My massage was great! I feel so much better already. The location was very convenient to the metro. I felt 100% safe as a solo traveler (once I found the right place). I was able to walk in without an appointment, but I did call to check first. I would say the ambiance could be improved and (not in their control) the mall itself could be more inviting. read more

Jade Massage Center is my secret place, but I have to let the cat out of the bag! Hiding in the Crystal City Underground, the team at Jade has rescued me from migraines, sore muscles and that pain in the neck you get from not knowing things ‍ With no frills, the prices are great. Highly recommend. read more

I wish I had read others' reviews before heading here, but I was in desperate need of a massage and saw 4.5 stars. When I called, the person on the phone told me $70 for a 60-minute massage. Not bad! And when I got there, the masseuse asked me if I wanted to up it to 2 hours. Why not treat myself?? Well, about 5 minutes in, I wanted to just quit the whole thing. The head rest was so uncomfortable, it gave me more of a headache than I had going in. The masseuse never asked me about pressure levels or areas I needed focus on. She somehow was way too light on areas I needed more pressure (like my neck and back) and way too hard on the most sensitive spots (like my feet and arms). I told her in the beginning that I needed focus on my neck, even pointing to the spot, but she didn't do much there, and my neck is just as stiff as before I went in. She didn't seem to speak much English, so I actually squirmed away from her a couple of times, including when she inexplicably started to roughly massage my breasts (covered by the blanket). She also rubbed repeatedly on the same areas without changing the spots or her strokes, to the point that even something that started okay ended up very irritating. The massage "rooms" are nothing more than small stalls with very thin walls, no ceilings, and only a curtain for a door. You can hear everything happening around you, from an employee's cell phone constantly ringing to other patrons' conversations to the cupping happening in the stall next to me. The business itself is in the Crystal City underground, but they leave the doors open so you hear everyone passing by. And to boot, parking for my two-hour massage ended up costing $23!! I am normally a great tipper. When it was time to pay, I didn't argue the amount but thought $140 was far, far more than sufficient to cover the masseuse's time. On the credit card device, it gives an option to tip, and I skipped that. Then the receptionist printed out the receipt and said, you can add tip here. I just said thanks and again left it blank. I then left the business and they chased after me to the elevator, saying I forgot to tip her. I probably should have explained why, but I was so ready to get out of there by then that I lied and said I was going to get cash. I'm still in disbelief that this happened! I have never thought about quitting in the middle of a massage, but could think of nothing else for two hours. I give this two stars rather than one only because the facility seemed clean and the people were nice enough (even when chasing me down the hall). But I will not return and wouldn't recommend it for anyone else. read more

Great place to unwind when in Crystal City. Was a bit hard to find, but worth the hunt.

I love this massage center. every time I called they are able to fit me in. So far I've been going to do massage center or rear and I can't imagine going anywhere else for my massages. The ambience is beautiful and serene and the massages therapists are amazing. 60 min full body $70. Not bad at all. read more

I truly enjoyed my first visit there this evening. My neck and back feel so much more relaxed. I have a lot of chronic pain in those areas and have been looking for ways to reduce discomfort. The massage bed was comfortable, the room was warm, music was relaxing and the staff were friendly. I will definitely be coming back again and will bring friends! read more

Excellent massage. I requested a deep tissue massage by male masseuse due to neck/shoulder/shoulder blade pain caused by a strain. I told the masseuse about the trouble area. He had very strong hands and was able To give me a very firm deep massage. He Worked through the knots and strains. It was sometimes uncomfortable but when he was done- i had fantastic results. I could turn my head to the side without pain. It was like a weight was lifted. I will definitely return for a deep tissue massage here for neck/back pain. read more

Mimi gave THE BEST one hour massage! She asked if I liked firm and I said yes. It was the perfect pressure, and I like a lot! They also got me in within an hour as it was a last minute decision. Tom at Jade Massage has helped me get through terrible pain and tightness in my neck and lower back. I have disc issues in my back and have had 3 surgeries in the last 10 years. I re-injured my back in Jan 2020 and then the pandemic hit. Jade massage had to close for about 3 months. I was miserable and in pain, having trouble sleeping and working, Once they reopened, I got 20 min back and neck massages (only $20) and with his knowledge and technique he fixed my neck issue and gave me lower back relief. Thank you and I highly recommend him and all the amazingly friendly and COVID safe people at Jade! Then read more

Absolutely terrible! Worst customer service ever! I paid for a 60 minute full body massage and while I did get 60 minutes of service, it was not worth the $70. My feet were never touched and when it came time to pay, the old lady who gave me the massage was unhappy because I felt I shouldn't have tipped more for my massage. Finally, needless to say I will never come back! read more

Was in need of a massage badly and found this place on this app 10/10 recommend, amazing deep tissue massage. They targeted specific areas just by the feel of my body and knew where to concentrate more on. Definitely relieved so much tension and felt like new afterwards. Not great - spent 50 of 60 minutes massaging / rubbing my back... left 10 min for the rest

What a nice surprise! I come to DC every few weeks for work. This time, I must've slept wrong or something because I woke up with what felt like a pinched nerve in my back. I didn't want to pay extra for a fancy "spa" experience like at most massage places, I just wanted my back to feel better. That's what made this place so perfect. I got a 1hr massage for $60, and it was exactly what I needed. Then massuse was super strong and knew what she was doing. No awkward moments, no thoughts of how this wasn't worth it, no pain, nada... At the end, a nice man (I assume was the owner), asked if my back pain got better. I told him yes (I was very happy), but still he offered to stretch my back out for free. Wow. Again, this was an awesome experience. I'll definitely visit again during my next DC trip. read more

This is such a hidden gem in the DMV area! I went in for an hour of massage due to my back pain and felt so relaxed mentally and physically afterwards. Given my past experiences with various massage studios, I'm confident to advocate that this place is my favorite! Tom (the owner) and Judy are both very friendly and professional. The ambiance is also terrific. The hot stone is quite a nice touch. I highly recommend this place and am planning on going back soon! read more

My first massage was for 60 minutes. It was so good I have had two more. One was for 30 minutes. I didn't expect that to be long enough to do much good. I was wrong. I would recommend it to anyone short on time. The last one was 90 minutes of wonderful bodywork. I felt great afterwards. I hope to fit one more in before I start my drive back to Colorado next week. Anda is a professional skilled massage therapist. She has found and relieved more than a few knots. I prefer firm pressure and Anda has strong hands. But she is also sensitive to tender spots and asked about my comfort several times. On my last visit, I overheard a gentleman who was getting chair massage from Tom express his satisfaction more than once. Noise from the mall does drift in occasionally, but the pleasant music and quality massage are effective counter-distractions. I suggest giving them a try. read more

I had a lot of reservations about getting a massage during COVID but this place put my mind at relative ease. They visibly cleaned and washed hands, wore masks, and took my temperature as well as that of the masseur. For $60 I got a terrific one hour massage that was targeted at where I had pain. I felt terrific afterwards. Cupping was available for a $10 up-charge. The facility was very nice for a mall massage center and there was only minimal noise traveling in from the mall. Overall it was a very relaxing and enjoyable experience and I would definitely come back. read more

I went there because my arms felt numb lately during sleep. Upon my arrival, Tom (the owner) asked about my symptoms and stretched my neck quickly. That was so amazing! She's super professional; she knows where to press harder and how my shoulders and arms could be best relaxed. I would definitely go back and strong recommend this massage center to everyone. read more

I would give this place SEVEN stars. Trudy has magic in her hands. I have come here twice already in a week. Tried cupping as well. I fell asleep during the massage. Great location. I love this place so much. Before lockdown I was going every week for a quick massage and it was a delight to look forward to and an easy thing to make happen during lunch break. Hands down one of the best massage places in the DMV area. Before COVID, I was a regular for massages. I even bought a massage membership with a nice boutique hotel in Old Town, but they canceled the new-ish program shortly after we entered the pandemic period. Because stress kills, I knew I had to continue. I resumed my massage therapy at Jade about three months ago. For a 60-minute massage, it's super affordable--$65. I like super clean, especially around this time. They practice super clean hygiene; their linens for the massage beds smell like yummy clean laundry. I've brought everyone I know to Jade, and they all rave about it. It's a little surprising b/c they're in a mall, but they are the real deal. True professionals who practice excellent massage therapy that has helped painful shoulders and back where all my stress lives. read more

Listen, I usually only go to bougie spas that cost a lot of money. Today, I just didn't feel like going all the way to Dupont because I live in Crystal City. Yeah, you can kind of hear other people as they walk by but it's easy to zone out when it's a good massage. I'm definitely going to be here more often now that I know these places are better than fancier spas. read more
