We chose Sarah and MWS because they matched what we were looking for: honoring our Asian heritage by offering tea ceremony package and being well versed in Chinese wedding traditions, and introducing us to an entertaining MC/host who was both fluent in English, Cantonese, and Vietnamese! And if you know you know, these Asian MCs are must have entertainers during a wedding reception! Aside from the best vendors Sarah brought to our wedding, Sarah was also our coordinator and our wedding day was seamless and organized. Sarah and MWS team took care of everything behind the scenes which allowed for my husband and I to truly enjoy our wedding day to the fullest. We are both very happy with the wedding outcome. To note, we chose the partial package of the wedding planning because we wanted to have some control; we did not feel like the services provided was insufficient. Once I passed off all decor, things magically appeared in the right place exactly where and when I needed them. Especially since we were able to start dinner on time and not 2 hours late (which can be common in Chinese receptions...).

I report now,…read more4 weeks after the wedding it was INDEED realized, in no small part due to Helen's on-the-job-live-in-real-time work and decision making. I started working with her about 4 months before the wedding date. She helped plan through the phone calls, the needs, the fundamentals, the vendors, and the details. She is very detailed and organized, and sets the correct parameters to create a successful wedding. As with any large project, there was good discussion and of course heated debates. I found this to be helpful in that she wasn't a yes-man or a pushover, and worked diligently to turn our ideas into reality. Another thing that stood out to me was on the day of the wedding, she made some large, key adjustments that in retrospect may have saved the wedding. I won't go into too much detail but she flipped and revamped the layout of the space in real time to adjust to the vibe she was reading from the guests (carrying tables, setting up linens, moving flowers). This gave everyone a place to sit and watch our show and listen to the speeches comfortably, something we didn't know how to make work during the planning sessions. At first I was reluctant to book because it is pricer than a community center, etc. After some thought we went for it, the venue is beautiful, so modern, and really doesn't need much decor because the venue is so pretty. Everyone loved it, kept asking us how did we hear about this place. Sam assisted us with the process. They have a Bartender, security, and one thing I really loved was that they cleaned/cleared the tables. This was such a plus, made the process of cleaning so much easier.
