Was told by sales man 2018 he is up for big award. Help him out buy the car lol... I did. Enjoyed vehicle until today.Salesman got his big promotion. What is it like to find out you have paid for service not necessary? Like a gut punch. Last fall went to have summer tires off and stored, winters put on. Asked where my guy was Mike told me they fired him. Oh no I liked him.... He was getting services done that were not necessary. Oh my God. He said I needed 3 services, I did one then was in for next one etc... too expensive to do all at once. Mike apologized and checked my history, I also was told I needed new summer tires. So Mike service manager cut me a break for this summer to have tires on my rims. Newly promoted guess he wanted to do right. Wrote price down on yellow copy of paper. Nice guy. Wrong he is a creep. I went in today to switch tires and oil change. Was told oh $249 brake service needed. Huh? How do you know haven't even looked at my vehicle. Miles thing. Ok I just had this 6 months ago, that was one of the service liar guy told me I had to do. I said what is it for, he told me. I said I don't understand husband is outside you can explain to him. Brought hubby in, Mike pointed in my face and said you don't listen, not going to tell you again. WTF? Hmm why could Mike ex-lain to my husband? Anyway I wanted to speak to manager on duty... Nate. Oh sorry Nate is busy. Glass windows, see Mike is in there with him so fast. I said great let's all sit down and discuss what the problem is. Mike left told me to fo, Nate said how long you been married, I said why? Repeated would not say. Finally Nate said well I been married 20 years if I left my wife first argument that's not good. Hmm ok there is a big age difference between us, but good analogy I guess? So we talked, the more Nate said the more buttons he pushed. He said that "his customer service" ratings are 100%. Stupid me I said yes because you make us rate 10 of 10. Won't let us off phone unless we verbally say 10! He lost it kicked us out of office. Moral is tire price his manager gave for 4 tires, I have rims was $613 bucks! They will not make money now on them and most likely do not have them. Mike service manager is boarder line crazy, rude and oddly nervous when husband came in. Nate to offense about their satisfaction rating and as I could not give 10 out of 10 after today refused to service my vehicular. It was in writing, had an apt. What is wrong Nate on the line with complaints. If you had your car over serviced in the last few years, call get print outs check details. Guess still the same thing car dealers ripping off women still now and always.

    I agree totally with the review that said stay away from this dealership. My experience with them…read moreleft me feeling taken advantage of and unheard. My A/C compressor needed to be replaced, phoned to book an appt. on a Wednesday, got one for Monday. They phoned back to ask me to call in on Monday morning to make sure the part came in. It hadn't, Tuscan the service guy, said he could get an after market one but it cost double the price (over $800). I said no I'd wait to get the Toyota part and booked an appt. for Friday ( going through that 40+ week with no A/C). I show up on Friday at 9am, I specifically asked the woman in the service bay if my part came in. She phoned someone and assured me it had. I told her I would need my vehicle back by 2:30 as I had an appt. in Enderby at 3. She said the job would take 4 hours so I felt comfortable time wouldn't be an issue. At 11 she called to say she'd been dealing with my extended warranty insurance and because they didn't have the Toyota part and were going to use the after market one for double the price, the warranty company hadn't approved the cost yet. I panicked, they hadn't even started the job and I was under time constraints and told her to go ahead with the work (Big mistake). She called back a couple hours later to say the insurance company would only cover for the cost of the Toyota part and the truck should be ready by 2. That time came and went, I ended up changing my appt. in Enderby; at 3:10, I phoned to see when it would be ready. Turns out it was ready at 2 but no one bothered to let me know. When I said I was waiting for a phone call the woman got snippy with me and said she'd told me it would be ready at 2. She had said "it should be ready at 2" , to me that implies it may not be and I assumed they would let me know when it was. When I went to pay my now huge bill, I expressed that I wasn't happy with what happened. The young guy wouldn't even look at me and acted like he hadn't heard a word I said. I was really upset with the whole experience but had to get going because of my appt. After thinking about it all weekend, I sent an email to Vernon Toyota saying I felt taken advantage of, and that it felt like a bait and switch situation. I said I would give them an opportunity to rectify the situation before posting negative reviews on- line, got no response what-so-ever. I talk to a lot of people in the course of my work and have now been told that people will drive to Kelowna or Salmon Arm Toyota for repairs and won't ever deal with Vernon. They've definitely lost my business and anyone else I talk to will know their poor business practices. My advice is STAY AWAY and go elsewhere.

ABS/traction control issue was dismissed due to the fact I put 265/75R16 tires on, stock size is 265/70R16. Never in my life have I had issues with putting better tires on a truck, zero ABS issues. I do not recommend this dealer, there are far to many bad reviews about them and wish I had done more research before buying a new truck from them.
