After an unpleasant experience with another carrier, I decided to try our local T-Mobile store…read more From the moment we walked in, everyone was kind and helpful. They took the time to explain all our options and guided us through the process of settling our debt with our old carrier while helping us get top-of-the-line phones. The staff even stayed late to ensure we were completely satisfied with our experience. While I was there, I noticed they were giving out umbrellas. I asked if we could have one, as my daughter had been wanting one. Instead of just one, they generously gave me four, one for each of us, and mentioned it was part of T-Mobile Tuesdays. A week later, while getting coffee next door, I stopped by the store to compliment the manager on the great impression his employees left on us. I also shared how useful the umbrellas had been, especially since the weather turned stormy that week. I told him I had given one to a student at the school who was drenched from the rain and had a long walk home. The manager thought for a moment and then asked me to wait. Shortly after, he returned with a giant pink bag containing over 40 umbrellas and said, "Do you think you could find other kids who need these?" The next day, my son and I distributed 43 umbrellas to kids on our campus. There were pink umbrellas, dry bodies, and smiles everywhere. Thank you, T-Mobile! *I hope you enjoy the picture. I made it in memory of this great day.

The Wireless Shop

The Wireless Shop

The worst experience I have ever had at a store. I thought I was dealing with a Verizon wireless…read morestore but that was not the case. When my phone began giving me problems after just one week the manager and sales associates were completely unhelpful and stopped returning my calls. Being in the military I like to use stores I am familiar with like Verizon and I will be more cautious in the future with knockoff retailers like the wireless shop. Don't go here...drive down to Palm Springs and see a corporate store because these guys are terrible. I must update with recent events. So, after mailing my phone back to the store I noticed on my account a day later there was a charge from the shop for $499.99. After talking to Victor the Manager/Owner/Billing Dept Head, he stated the phone arrived damaged and he had to charge me full retail for the phone. I stated that 1. I had already paid $180 so why did he charge me full retail 2. You did so without my authorization and 3. I have insurance on the phone therefore I can get it replaced for only a $100 deductable. He stated that he deals with this all the time and this is how business is done in accordance with the contract that I signed. I asked for pictures of the phone and to have it returned to me. He said he couldn't produce the phone because Rashad had taken it with him and it was his day off. What!? Then he said Rashad was working at another store and he had the phone. Then he said Rashad had taken it to a corporate Verizon store to show them proof of the damages (this never occurred and was not documented by any Verizon associate). Over the period of two days this conversation goes round and round and his story is a constantly changing from phone call to phone call. As of this posting I have the damaged phone but he refuses to return my $499.99 so I have basically paid $680.00 for a broken phone. Verizon is talking to Victor on my behalf so we shall see how this works out. Don't go to this store!

I was a Spectrum customer for over 4 years in Yucca Valley, always paid on time. I signed up at a…read morephysical store location in 2021 (yes, it still exists, despite what their reps say). Within the first 6 months, I had a technical issue and Spectrum sent a technician to my home. He took the company modem with him--and never documented the return. I bought my own modem from Amazon and kept using Spectrum's service without issue until I canceled in 2025. At no point did anyone tell me I needed to "register" my personal modem, nor was there any interruption in service. I assumed everything was handled--until I got a postcard years later saying I owed them for "unreturned equipment." I've now spoken with multiple reps over the two years, explaining this exact situation, and yet there are no notes in their system. No record of the technician visit. No record of the prior calls. Their internal disorganization has now become my burden--and that's unacceptable. Today, in sheer frustration, I yelled at two reps, not because I'm "that customer," but because Spectrum has consistently failed to document, inform, and resolve their own errors. Spectrum, your systems are broken. You blame your customers for your staff's lack of documentation. You offer no resolution for people who've paid their bills for years--just stress and unjust threats. I paid thousands of dollars for service and now they're blaming me for their incompetence by charging me for equipment that their technician took. They won't remove this bogus $59 equipment fee, are going to charge my credit card, and won't acknowledge any of their mistakes. Pathetic and greedy company. Get service from anyone else.

After a 2-hour wait, they changed the plan but added new equipment we didn't need and began charging us for it. We didn't realize this until we were told to come pick up the equipment a week or so later. Fast forward to Yucca Valley where we went in to try to get things sorted and return the equipment. Deja was the lady we spoke to and she was supported by manager Elesha, who came to double check a charge. 10 minutes later we walked out with everything sorted. Night and day difference between the quality of service in Yucca Valley and the Spectrum store we went to in Orange County.
