Excellent. I came here specifically for Matt, who had helped me in another location - and of course it was another great experience at a Verizon location. On this day it was adding a line and finally upgrading my "old" phone. This was in May, so I'm a little late posting this review. As usual, Matt was great and was a tremendous help. This location is a little farther from me, but totally worth it. Inside was clean, organized, and neat. They had the accessories I needed as well. Parking is in the rear - there are doors in the front and back for convenience. Overall another great experience with Verizon and in large part thanks to Matt M. I would give this store negative stars if it was an option. During my visit everything seemed good, with apparently knowledgeable and attentive staff. But then problems started to arise. I was promised that a device that was not in stock would be mailed to me, then found out that was not the case. I had to have someone go to the store for me because I couldn't make it. Of course, when I started getting my bills I noticed moreproblems. My charges were not close to the amount I was promised. I contacted Sandeep to help out, and he was initially responsive and said he would straighten it out, but after he "straightened it out" my bills did not reduce AND I was charged a one-time fee of hundreds of dollars on top of not getting the discounted rate I was promised because he removedd my promotions (he said he had to remove the "wrong" promotions to get me the correct ones, but Verizon advised me that I just lost one promotion and my monthly bill would be the same inflated amount. The whole thing was 100% a scam and I will certainly never do business with this store again and recommend that no one go here. read more

I am happy to say we finally found a Verizon store and a sales associate that we LOVE! Daril at Yorktown Heights Verizon on Crompond Road helped our entire family get new phones with a plan that was even better than we had before, and he was outstanding! Daril was patient, insightful, very well informed, and clearly cared about giving outstanding customer service. He listened carefully to what each member of our family needed and made sure we got what we wanted. Elijah was also very welcoming and helpful. The location is convenient and the staff was very helpful, but... We had to wait 30minutes for assistance, long enough to become annoying. The purchase and replacement process including mapping over the old phone contents went smoothly, but... We were not informed that the data mapping cost $35 per phone until AFTER the process was complete. We needed some new accessories for the new phones, and we bought one adapter BUT... They did not have a second and could not arrange to have it shipped to our home. Too many buts. read more

My husband and I, both technology neophytes, went to Verizon to upgrade my husband's flip phone which had stopped working. Our entire family uses IPhones, but for some reason (probably cost) he was sold a Samsung phone which we had NO IDEA how to use. We went to this location and dealt with a very knowledgeable salesperson/technician who managed to download all of my husband's contacts on to a new IPhone and to get him all set up so that he could work it. His experience and suggestions made the transition so much easier...especially after we tried so unsuccessfully to handle this over the phone, I am very thankful for all the assistance we received and very grateful that this gentleman knew what he was doing. read more

I had an LG 5G phone for 9 months that was problems from the first day. this past Friday the phone locked and was actually talking nonsense. I could not mute it, so I drove to the YH verizon.. Mike asked if he could help me as soon as I arrived. After, trying to unlock the phone, he finally got the phone quiet. We discussed replacing the LG under warranty, of buying it out and getting a new phone. I didn't want to see another LG phone, so Mike found a great buy out plan.. I how have a great Motorola Plus. I would rate a 0 if it let me. Sales person Did not know what he was doing. We waited 3 hours to just pick up a phone that was ordered over the phone directly with Verizon. After 3 hours they cancelled th red order put another order through and sent him to another store. To pick up item. Worst expirience ever. Don't shop here! read more

I recently had a terrible experience when purchasing my new iPhone 12 at the Verizon Wireless store in Yorktown Heights, New York. The store employee, Victoria R., was not particularly welcoming or friendly, and gave me no indication that it could take 2+ hours to change to an iPhone 12 from an earlier model (I had an iPhone X). After being there 45 mins, she finally informed me that it would be another 45 mins before the data transferred and to come back. When I came back, it took another 45 mins - and Victoria ignoring me for the first 20 mins - before she sent me home with my new phone, assuring me it was ready to use. However, when I attempted to make a call from my phone, there was no service and my phone was not activated. Victoria never checked to see whether my phone was activated before sending me home with it. When I returned to the store, I spent over 2 hours with Victoria and Verizon Customer Service to try to activate my phone, but it would not activate. Victoria then told me she could delete everything from my new phone and then reinstall it in an attempt to activate it. However, she had to back-up my entire phone onto the iCloud and informed me I did not have enough iCloud memory. She told me to purchase a larger iCloud storage for $9.99/per month (my current plan was 200GB for $2.99/per month) and assured me that once the data was reinstalled onto my new iPhone, we could remove the $9.99/per month iCloud storage plan and return to my $2.99/per month iCloud storage plan. Victoria told me to come back in 1.5 hours to get my new, activated iPhone. When I returned at 3pm, my new iPhone was not activated. Victoria informed me of a network outage at Verizon that was preventing all new 5G phones from being activated . It is unclear - and frankly unacceptable - why it took until 3pm for this issue to be identified or for Verizon to have informed the store. If work was being done at Verizon, I could have certainly waited a day to upgrade to my new iPhone. I explained that I had spent the entire day not working without my phone and needed a phone in order to work from home. Victoria was unhelpful, told me there was nothing she could do and offered no suggestions. I suggested reactivating my old phone, which took an hour to attempt to accomplish. However, when I returned home, my old phone was not activated and could not make calls. I had to then go back to Verizon, have them turn off my old phone and turn on my new iphone, and asked them to call my husband's number when the outage was over. I never heard from the Yorktown Heights Verizon store again. When Verizon Wireless Customer Service activated my phone the next day, they informed me that the $9.99/per month iCloud storage plan could not be replaced by my prior $2.99/per month iCloud storage plan because the $2.99/per month plan was no longer available. I was told I could downgrade to a $5.99/per month plan and would NOT be credited the $3.00 per month for their mistake. Verizon never downgraded my iCloud storage plan and I am still being charged $9.99/per month. I am extremely frustrated and unhappy with my entire experience with Verizon. I spent the whole day at the store and was unable to work. The staff were unhelpful and uninformed, and other customers noticed and commented on it. For Verizon Wireless Customer Service to be unwilling to remedy the situation and rectify the iCloud storage plan mistake is unacceptable. I separately contacted the store directly via the website, and Verizon Customer Service by phone, explaining the issue and have never heard back from Verizon. read more

He didn't try to sell the most expensive cellphone but advised on the best product for my needs which wasn't priced extremely high. Very personable sales rep. I'm giving three stars​ because the location is convenient and I ended up buying two phones and that solved my problem, but ​the experience itself, ​not the best. I recently went there with two problematic iPhones (7 and 6). The woman that was taking care of me talked me out of repairing the 7, instead,​ she said it was better to just buy a new XR because the 7 will break again very soon. According to her,​ there was a faulty series of iPhone 7 that just started to break. And I can't imagine ​how many of them she dealt with in the ​past few weeks. The older 6 was definitely in time for a replacement. Of course, she didn't force me to replace the 7 with XR, I did it on my own, but the process itself was very iffy. First, without asking what I wanted she brought two XRs 64 and assumed I wanted these. When I asked why not 128, she said I didn't need so much memory because everyone uses the cloud now. We don't. Then she tried to convince me that my daughter is using only a small part of the storage on her current phone. Also, she said the 128 are much more expensive​ when I asked her what was the difference - it was around $2/ month! I felt like she tried to push the 64 on me. Also, I wasn't informed that set up costs around $30. She just did it for me without asking and after I expressed my surprise, she said, I would have to come back anyway and pay again... It wouldn't be again if I didn't pay for the first time. Usually, I do set up phones on my own, and I would try this time as well had I known t would be a charge for that... The bottom line: I will try to avoid this place even if the location is convenient. The selection of the phones was so-so, the service so-so. I hope it was just my not too good experience, and that others have a better one. read more
