Been a loyal customer of Verizon for 15 years and this store made me want to switch carriers. I brought my husband over from US Cellular. It took us 3 hours to get our plan activated with no explanation as to why we were having problems switching my number from one Verizon plan to a new one. RJ was passive-aggressive and less than helpful. My husband sat on the phone with the service department for 2 hours trying to figure out the problem while RJ sat on his phone and washed the windows. When we were finally done on the phone and ready to proceed we had to wait on RJ because he was helping other people. To then "expedite the process" RJ started clicking through our contract and accepting the terms until I said, "If that's our contract shouldn't we do that??" He claimed we were getting the teacher discount and trade-in discounts. We were not told how to send our trade-ins, or how to activate the discount. We had to sit on the phone with billing for 2 hours getting it straight but unfortunately, due to RJ's lack of competency, we are still getting charged $120 more for our July bill than we said it would be. Reached out to the manager Nick and the district manager Amelia but took 6 days to hear back from one of them. No apology for this horrible process, how much time we've spent figuring this out or the complete lack of customer service by his employee. I don't know if I have ever written a negative review. This store has been completely ineffective at handling a billing issue. In short, I paid for the device (trade-in your old phone/upgrade) in the store and they did not apply the discounts. I have been being billed for a phone (that I paid for in the store), 2 smart watches & an iPad (that were Free) on my monthly bill. I have both called and gone into the store multiple, multiple times where I am put off and told that a Manager 'Nick' (who is the individual who actually set up our plans incorrectly in the first place) or Holly, neither of which have returned my call ONCE. Now I am being told that too much time has transpired after months and months of communication. I feel like I am 'stuck' and have been taken for a ride by TCC Verizon. This cannot be that difficult to sort out. I would not utilize this store in a future purchase as they have been dishonest and ineffective. read more

An authorized retailer is a little different than the other Verizon stores you see with terrible reviews. Premium retailers are typically locally owned, where as the Verizon stores are owned by Verizon. We recently switched from Apple to Google phones and after many frustrating unsuccessful attempts, with information provided by the Verizon store, to transfer over data and activate service, I decided to pay $20 and go to a premium retailer. They were able to troubleshoot all the issues (which is something I would have never figured out on my own) in less than 30 minutes. If I have issues in the future, I don't plan to waste my time at the Verizon stores, I will go to a premium retailer for better expertise. read more

Aug 6, 2019 So I don't criticize businesses but this is 100% out of control. It is a long story but I would appreciate advice on where to go next. Kenzie saved her money and upgraded to a new iPhone and bought it 3-29-19. She was moving her stuff from her "old phone" and went to Wayne, Ne that afternoon--she stopped at Verizon Victra Store( a Verizon store owned by ABC Phones of North Carolina) to activate her new phone. Phone activated--all is well. Then when we get our April Verizon bill there is a charge for $52.50 for the new phone. A monthly payment for 24 months. After hours of phone calls and several trips to Maple st Verizon, we find out the store in Wayne has filled out and sent to Verizon , a contract for the purchase of the phone she bought and paid for in Omaha--absolutely NO sale in Wayne. I can't even say how many phone calls and visits to Verizon and calls to Wayne with every person we talked to saying it is taken care of--then today Harry gets a recorded call from Verizon that unless we pay this bill for $1260 our service will be cancelled and we will be turned over for collection. Not only is their contract fraudulent, we have put up with so much stress and time spent trying to get this corrected. SO today I call the corporate headqts of ABC and have to go through the whole scenario for the 20th time--and get told a manger will call me back--that was at noon--now 9:50-- yep no call. I think we need to get an attorney and sue both companies. Anyone with advice? I was unable to activate my new phone due to extenuating circumstances. The employees at this store were WONDERFUL. I was welcomed in the store and told it might be a little bit of a wait. No problem....since I knew they were busy with other customers. A wonderful employee began helping me with my activation and it was solved shortly thereafter. She was professional and VERY helpful. The staff at this location are the most professional and helpful people. They helped me transfer data, pictures etc, made it fun, and they did not make me feel stupid or old etc. all was done within 10 minutes with smiles and kindness. They are the best. They sell everything the snobby Verizon store on West Maple sells but without the extreme wait time and rudeness. Will always use this location. read more

Eddie is a lifesaver!!! I ordered an iPhone 11 pro online and it was stuck on the apple screen for 5 days! I went to multiple Verizon stores and no one was able to help me. Also tried calling Verizon multiple times and could not get ahold of anyone. Then, finally, I went to this Verizon location and Eddie was so helpful and friendly. He really wanted to help me out and fix the frustration. Now I have a working iPhone thanks to Eddie! Also, every employee at this location was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend! read more
