The store opens at 10 am on Sunday, she walked in at 5 after and said their employee, Richard, just ignored her. When she got his attention his first "greeting" was, "We're closed." When my wife pointed out the store had officially opened at least 5 minutes ago, his next response was a brusque, "What do you need?" She goes on to explain how her phone quit working and would like some assistance. The account is actually under my name and I was unfortunately elsewhere at the time, but when Richard found out she wasn't a user on the account he said he couldn't help her and that she should just leave. Meanwhile, another employee emerged from the back room and was equally dismissive. My wife left that store in tears, but not before letting them know how awful their service was. She then went across town to the store on Hover, where she was politely greeted, helped, and ultimately purchased a new phone. It took all of a few minutes to have me add her as an account user, I was able to do it remotely via the AT&T app. Her experience at that store was the polar opposite of what she got at the Ken Pratt location. I, for one, will NEVER shop at or recommend the Ken Pratt location to anyone I know, and their employees should be absolutely ashamed of how poorly they treated my wife. Here's a little tip for you guys from an actual professional who honors and takes client relationships seriously: if your job involves customer service in any way, shape, or form, but you can't find it in yourself to be remotely respectful to the people you serve, it's time to do the world a favor and quit. At a minimum, hopefully this store's manager is paying attention and will do something about the shameful events that took place there today.

I drove right to Verizon off Hover and, after a little wait, told the guy who helped me that "I'd like to solve this problem in the next 15 minutes." The man heard me, and the man kept it short. He was beautiful. In 15 minutes I had a new phone and was out the door. But! I went back the next day with a problem and they looked at it then and there, took it in the back and brought it back out working perfectly. Again, I was in and out of the store in less than probably 5 minutes. The employees here probably have to put up with a lot, but this kind of customer service should be emulated world wide.

The person who was picked to help me quickly determined he couldn't do anything in the store and said I had to call customer service. He asked if I wanted him to push me through or to be given a number that I could call at home. I said I would stay in case I needed more help in store. I continued to sit on the phone with customer service for over an hour in the store while the employee sat on his phone completely ignoring me and offering no further assistance. I've been a long time Verizon customer (decades) and I remember when representatives in the store would call customer service for us. I sat there until after closing on the phone while customer service was trying to figure out how to help me as the four employees that were there just sat around on their phones. No desire to help me, just waiting until they could go home. I finally left while still on the phone with customer service who ultimately told me they couldn't help me and then proceeded to hang up on me. I am so incredibly disappointed in this store and in Verizon. This is was the complete opposite of customer service. I wish I could share a picture.

The tech destroyed the motherboard on my phone rendering it completely inoperable. Here is the email I have from Batteries Plus: " When we experience a failed repair like the repair on your phone, we go to multiple websites to determine what it would cost to replace your phone with a refurbished one that is the same make and model. A refurbished A42 in excellent condition is available for $131.16. We will issue you a check for $140.00 to cover the cost of the replacement.with either a refurbished phone of same make and model, or you have the option of applying that amount toward a new phone." Batteries Plus hunted the internet for the cheapest, refurbished phone they could find to offer me compensation for their incompetence. Did they tell me their policy for when they destroy someone's phone? - NO Did they offer me a brochure about their repair policy and this little fine print item??? - NO Buyer Beware! I stand by this review. Folks who've had successful battery replacement, good for you. You were lucky. Imagine if you're told not only did the tech destroy your phone, but you lost all your content.
