From start to finish Lorna was outstanding . Friendly efficient and so helpful. It took a while to transfer everything over. She was so nice. I had a very different experience at another Verison location where the sales person just stared at my Account on her tablet for a while. Won't be going back there . I rarely post Yelp reviews, however given the grossly unpleasant experience my wife and I encountered yesterday I felt the need to leave a review in hopes that I may persuade other consumers from spending their money at this location. Walked in for 2 iPhone upgrades, greeted by a male who I guess may have been the manager (unsure of his name). For someone who works in the service industry he did not posses a single ounce of patience, understanding, respect, common courtesy or salesmanship. Proceeded to literally laugh at us when we said we would rather keep our phones than trade them in - like we were complete morons for suggesting something so outlandish. Assumed we already knew everything about the new phone and reluctantly walked us over to the demos to walk us through the new features. When I asked how a certain feature worked on the new phone (because I like it on my current phone) he proceeded to tell me "you don't need to use it on this phone" - dude, it's not a matter of whether I need to, I like to and I want to know if I can. He went on to complain "I guess I can look it up if you want me to". Basically refused to walk us through other / alternate options despite our reluctance with the new iPhones.his exact words were "you won't like those and they're on back order for a month"- So when we finally decided to purchase them he took it upon himself to also ring up $80 of screen protectors without our approval. We declined the service protection plan and again were freaking laughed at, and told we "were crazy". He basically made it sound like the new phones were made of egg shells and led us to believe touching them would result in a fatal crack - ridiculous bro. When I asked about what deals they had I was told "no promotions at this time". Ok, cool, I'm fine with that, I thought.... more in this in a second. So despite the unpleasant and rude demeanor of this prick we still decide to buy the phones - then we're told our out the door total is nearly $500 for tax and the phone screen protectors. I've always managed to have this charge billed monthly and amortized over a few months, but this guy pretended he had never heard of such a thing. At this point I wasn't about to line his pocket with my money so I told him to just cancel the whole transaction and that I'm not spending $500 out of pocket today for 2 phones. Boy did that piss him off "what, are you serious? I already activated the phones and it'll take me hours to re-activate the old ones" - He went on to say. Then he had the nerve to tell me "we have a $40 coupon promotion right now, why don't you let me give you that and you guys just buy the screen protectors on amazon to save some money" (remember previously he told me no such promotion was available?!). At this point I was done and told him to re-activate our old phones. We weren't finished with his snarky remarks yet - he then said "well now you know what to expect next time you think you want to upgrade" It was NEVER about the money for me. We are happy to pay out of pocket, we're happy to pay a premium for GOOD service. Given the HORRIBLE experience with this clown it's safe to say we are doing our research with other carriers and considering other options. Stay clear of this place if you can. read more

I've been with Verizon for over 10 yrs. My Son and I walked in at 9:45 am to change to the unlimited plan. We have 2 phones & 2 tablets on our current plan. At the beginning of the process I asked if we could upgrade our tablets and was told yes we could actually upgrade tablets as long as we paid the activation fees for the new tablets. I was given an Asus 10 inch as my upgrade and my Son was given a smaller Samsung. It was going to be $80 to activate both so we begin the process with Joshua and Johnny the manager. I was told the Asus tablet had been ordered by a previous customer but that customer never came to pick it up...his loss was my gain I was told. Anyway, we literally were there for almost 2 hours while they updated our account, deactivated our tablets to activate the new ones etc. When it came time to pay, the system wouldn't let the sale go thru and then I was told it appeared the 10" Asus tablet was still connected to the previous customer and I was no longer going to get the upgraded tablet. When I asked the manager (Johnny) if he could call a supervisor, corporate or someone to see what they could do, his response was he would give me a number to call. I asked for his business card and he said he didn't have business cards. I got his name and asked that they reverse the changes and reactivate our old tablets because I was very put off by his unwillingness to lift one finger to try to make things right. We left and I called corporate to complain and found that my account was not reversed at all and we couldn't get on our tablets. Of course corporate reversed everything, took my complaint and were very helpful. I've had good experiences with this location but I would NOT let Johnny F assist me in anyway. Poor customer service from both reps boy and girl. No greet as I walked in or any acknowledgement as I spent 2 hours until finally the girl worked with me for 2 minutes to tell me she couldn't help me with the phone that kept turning off and on the girl didn't even bother troubleshooting it, she straight up told me that I had no warranty for another phone and that I did have some kind of warranty but that I would have had to pay $100 bucks for another one to be sent to me. She looks up info, and tells me looks like your phones are paid off the other option you have is to upgrade. I was so mad because I spent 2 damn hours there waiting just for her to try to sell me another phone instead of trying to fix the one I had. Nothing was broken, just the phone would turn off on me. And before I had left to verizon my husband had told me my phone had warranty, go so they can send you another one he said. Well as I got back home, my husband saw I wasn't happy and asked about my experience. He was furious and called customer service over the phone. My husband let them know how bad my experience was and the young rep helped us way better than the verizon store in waxahachie, and I did have warranty and I did get a phone sent to me. The boy rep in the store spent those 2 hours talking to one couple. I get he was selling them phones but wrap it up, 30 minutes tops should I say. Nope not him, not even acknowledging that I was there, nor the girl rep. read more

If there was negative stars I would. You couldn't pay me to go here. I would rather drive to Midlo/Red Oak and take my services there. I have gone in on three separate occasions, each time I waited for HOURS for minor issues. I needed to get my number switched over to my new phone, so I decided to go in and maybe take 15 minutes. I went in and each member was with someone except for two members outside smoking, one person asked me to have a seat and they'd be with me in a minute. When someone would leave another person would come in and jump ahead of me. The two others who didn't see me walk in took other customers, which I was fine with, I thought the gentleman who told me to sit down would come and wait on me, but that was a dangerous assumption. I decided to stand up and walk near where the employees were, but every time I would be up they would take a new customer. Then after about 45 minutes, the two smoking employees decided to come back inside. They looked and me and then continued with their conversation about their sex lives. I decided to go up to them and ask for their help since they just were talking. When I went up I got a death stare from the lady who was talking and said, "What do you want." I told her my dilemma and she told me someone would be with me in a minute. I told her I had been waiting for nearly an hour now, and she did not believe me. I went and sat down again, only to be passed up several more times. Finally one guy looked at me and realized I had been there for a while and came up and said how can I help you. I sat with him for 30 minutes until he realized he didn't know what he was doing. So then I had to go wait for the wonderful woman who was rude and smelled like smoke so bad it smelled up the whole building. She worked with me and insulted me and that was just one of the terrible experiences. read more

Salesperson was very friendly and didn't have to wait an excessive amount of time to be helped. Problem is salesperson sold me a family plan with 20Gb to share, paperwork I initialed shows this clearly, but after I left the store and a few days had passed I checked my account I had a 10Gb to share on my account. Went back to question the 10Gb vs 20Gb and was told the salesperson was wrong and there was nothing they could do to help me. So, after switching out 2 phones, completely changing my plan, I was stuck with a 10Gb plan instead of the unlimited data I had previously. Tried to escalate my problem to someone above the store employees and was told I would get a callback within 72 hours, 10 days later I am writing this review. I have done business at this store for many years and WILL NEVER GO BACK. If you go to this store be very careful what they are selling you as it may end up not being what they say. read more
