He told my wife she had loyalty credits and a special promotion for a free Galaxy phone and Galaxy watch with no plan changes, no increase to our bill, and no out-of-pocket cost except a small watch-line fee. He said the bill credits would keep everything even, so she agreed to add the watch line. She never signed a single authorization. She never provided her password. She never saw or signed an EIP agreement, contract, or consent screen. All she did was swipe to verify the account at check-in. After that, they kept her phone for almost an hour while they "processed" everything. She paid for the watch line and left without being shown a single document. Three days later I checked the account and it was a complete mess. Our bill didn't creep up -- it doubled

I was upset with AT&T because of how they handled an unfortunate development causing my wife and I to lose our cell service when we really needed it. At some point, though I still could receive emails, I stopped being able to send or forward emails…read moreon my Samsung Galaxy S2. So I walked in to the brand new Ukiah U.S. Cellular store there on Airport blvd to see what was up with that. My recollection of the conversation with the service tech at the store was that there was a software upgrade / update and that might do the trick. Um.. OK... I thought it was great that he was concerned about any data, photos etc that might be on the phone as the update would probably wipe all that out. I have everything backed up on the cloud so I said.. lets do it. Well.. emails work again, but the option to use the phone as a hotspot has been removed unless I increase my plan by $25/month. I dialed 611 and spoke to an associate. I asked her if not using my phone as a hotspot was stated on my contract. She replied with: "I don't know if it was or it wasn't". If they tape these calls.. check the tape. That's what she said. Well.. If a US Cellular employee who answers customer questions all day long and who can see my entire account on their screen can't answer that question then how am I supposed to know about this? Why would I be sold a data plan on a phone where using one of it's built in functions would violate the carriers terms of service?

HORRIBLE company. I…read morewas a customer of this company for 15+ years. Over the last few years, their coverage & customer service has gone way downhill. I changed providers just a few days into their billing period - which bills in advance. I was really surprised by their policy where I had to keep paying for another month of coverage even after canceling my service. They charged me for a partial upfront when I signed up. Why can't they refund the 'unused' portion of the month? That just doesn't seem right to me. Why should I have to pay for a service I'm not even using anymore, especially if the reason for cancelling was because the coverage/service was bad? The customer service rep I talked to only stated it was their policy. It left me feeling pretty frustrated and let down. I don't remember them telling me that 15+ years ago, that I would have to continue paying after leaving them Probably a T-Mobile decision. This experience definitely makes me NEVER to use them again..

At Xfinity (the main number) No body knows what they are doing there! I just needed to print a label to return an item. I can't print the dang return label. I called the returns department and they tell me to call customer service cause they can send you a box and a label. I seriously questioned this as I have never had them offer me a box and a label. I was correct, no box and label. I was transferred around and around. I was finally told that I could I could use a label I had previously used. Honestly I doubt it but at this point, I give up. If they are to unknowledgeable about how to do their job I do not know how to fix that. I will try and use this label and if it doesn't work I quit! I do not have hours and hours to spend on the phone. I have only ever had one employee there go way above and beyond to help me out. That was back in January. Ernesto, was so helpful and actually got me the label I am reusing. Other than him every single time I have called Xfinity it is a zoo.
