We stopped in at 9 this morning and were greeted with great service and prompt attention. I think prior to today the shortest I've ever been in a store was three hours and today except for transferring data it was less than one. So Verizon charged my mother for 2 iPhones that don't belong to her, she went round and round with them on this and got it semi taken care of. Now she gets her bill that still had the phones on there and they are FRAUDULENTLY billing her, when she calls to speak to a live person she is put in a queue and never called back, because she is older they are taking advantage of her and they don't give a shit about their customers just the almighty dollar!! Ive been inside this store maybe five or six times, it's one of the better Verizon shops to begin with. Recently I had a problem with my phone not charging. Before taking it to a private business to repair it, I stopped in here first. The young lady that i spoke to took it to the back and come out five minutes later, a foreign object was stuck in the port and she was able to extract it. And there was no charge. Do you like being charged for device Payment on a device you don't even have? Then, when you find out, the store responsible for this mistake will try to Ignore you and give you the run around? This is the perfect place. Short version at the end. I just had the worst experience at Verizon wireless. I came in a Verizon in San Jose today to receive a Pixel I ordered on black friday. Hoping to upgrade it from my Note 7, but to my surprise the Verizon manager told me I couldn't upgrade because I am currently paying for a Galaxy s7 edge not a Note 7. Back in September when the first Note 7 recall was going on, I returned the note 7 to Ukiah Verizon in exchanged for a loaner Galaxy s7 edge while Note 7 was being fixed. Around a week later, I returned the s7 back in store when the 2nd note 7 was launched. During that process, the store never entered into corporate database that I had returned the s7 phone, even though they had records in store. Instead, I was being charged monthly from september to date for a phone that I loaned for a week. I am, still paying for a galaxy s7 that I will never own or want to because of Ukiah verizon. Hence I can't upgrade to a pixel. The San Jose Verizon Go Wireless manager, Rasha, kindly helped me call Customer Care, then CORE. After a lenghty time, all of whom redirected us to Ukiah Verizon as the authorized problem solver. When a Ukiah manager by the name of Romando talked to customer care, customer care claimed that he did not have record of me returning the phone. Rasha and I, then, spoke with Romando personally as he claimed he has records of my loaner s7 being returned in September with provided return numbers. Yet, Romando stated he can not do anything because I would need to come in person and talk to CORE in Ukiah after we had explained that I now stay in San Jose. As you can tell this isn't about San Jose Verizon, but Ukiah Verizon. Also when Rasha told him she was a part of Go Wireless, not a corporate store, his attitude changed immediately. As Rasha, her assistant, another waiting and equal frustrated customer, and I could all tell by listening to the conversation on speaker, he was dismissive and quickly divert the impossibility of a solution because I was not at a corporate store and "a corporate store can override" the mistake made in his store. Meanwhile he offered little to no help. Imagine that, he claimed it was a mistaken on his end of the store, has records of me returning a phone that I was still being charged for, yet claimed he can not remove a false contract. So Rasha and I went back to customer care and CORE. This is taking 2.5 hours so far. CORE and Care utilized the return number Romando gave us and guess what? It's been returned months ago. And they once again said Ukiah Verizon is the only one who could remove my false contract. They also stated I don't have to be there in person for him to do it. This is where it gets good. I called Ukiah Verizon with my phone number, gets hold on the line for 10 minutes so far. We wondered if we were being ignored, so Rasha called on a different phone and he picked up right away! Meanwhile I was still "waiting for next available rep." We had to tell him that CORE and Care all told us that it was his JOB to call his own CORE to file for removal of my false contract. Only then did he called and tried to remove the false contract. And guess what? I still have to wait 5-7 days to hopefully take his word that this might get resolved. This Ukiah Verizon representative has collectively wasted the time and resources of the staffs of San Jose Verizon retailer, other frustratingly waiting customers, and my own. He could have shown the initiative in doing his entailed job, and resolve the problem within minutes instead of using dismissive tactics. I am truly frustrated with Verizon. It had not only wasted my time but apparently money for a problem that could have been resolved if some of their staff had the skills or initiative to actually help customers. I will advise anyone from using this branch. Short version: * Realized Verizon has been charging me, under contract, for a phone I returned (after they loaned it to me for one week.) * Called the store to remove contract. They said they can't do anything even though they have return records. * Ukiah verizon gives me the runaround. Make no effort to help. Ignore me and gets caught. * Had to go back and forth between customer Care and CORE and Ukiah Verizon for 2.5 hours to basically tell the manager it's his job to remove a false contract. * Could have taken minutes if people knew their job. read more

This review is not so much about Verizon as a national company, as it is about the local sales reps that you'll find here in the Ukiah store. I've been doing business with the Ukiah store for right around two years and I've had the best experience every time I go into the store. I've shopped phones, made returns, upgraded, downgraded, and have gone in to pay my bill. Each time I've visited I've been greeted by the friendly team, willing to help. With the launch of the very high profile Motorola Droid phone, I was one of the many who had my mind set on owning one. Never having owned a "smartphone", I had lots of questions. In fact, I showed up with a whole list of questions! One of the first people to greet me was the store manager Chuck Sitnik. As I was waiting for a salesperson to help me, Chuck was very willing to show off his newly acquired Droid phone. Explaining the features, the ease of use, and how fun it is. I truly appreciate the help, explanations, and demonstrations.... they are very much a helpful and friendly bunch!! read more

Do not go to Ukiah Verizon! They take advantage of seniors. I work for a senior center and one of our favorite seniors went in and prepaid for a phone $35 dollars. Now that might not seem like a lot to most people but when you are in your 80's living off just over $1000 a month it is a lot. The phone did not work and even the store could not activate it, so she decided to not get it and they refused to refund her. She called us to see if we could help and they said they would not refund her for the non-working phone and she had to go in, which she has many times. At this point it is principle. Does that store really need that $35 dollars more than she does? Is this Verizon policy, really or did Austin and Ukiah Verizon just give her bad service? My husband and I visited the Verizon Wireless store in Ukiah on 4/23/19. We've had our phone contracts with Verizon for many years and have always used this store. Each time we go, the service gets better and better, and yesterday was no exception. We were greeted IMMEDIATELY by Justin. Every part of our experience from that point on was superlative. Justin is warm, friendly professional without being overbearing, and the kind of salesman that sells you just what you ask for but will recommend everything possible to make sure you get the best product for the best price. He did everything for us, saved us money, explained everything in detail and in a way that didn't leave us wishing we'd asked a lot more questions once we were on the way home. I have been here several times and each time I found that the customer service was adequate. Today I came in to buy my girlfriend my new phone and the customer service was more than adequate. In particular, the service representative that we dealt with, Danya, I believe it was, went out of his way to help us figure out how we could restructure our current plan to accommodate our goals. He was helpful and he was very concerned about what we wanted and how to get us what we wanted. At this time of year, I imagine that dealing with customers is difficult. We drove from Fort Bragg to this store, it was so worth the drive the 1 1/5 hr drive. We had a terrible experience at a vender in Fort Bragg. We ended up calling Verizon direct, ordering our phones and having them delivered to our home. We needed help activating them. I did a search for Verizon stores near by. Ukiah was nearest. That's when I found a review for this one. Thank You Sandy G. As we entered the store a women approached us, asked what we needed. As we answered a young man came over and said he could help us. That is just what he did. Activated both phones, transferred info, showed us how to use them. He listened to us and asked us question about what we each need and wanted from our phones. Then helped us buy accs. we needed. He offered to apply screen proctors and put them in their new cases. He took the time to clean the phones and show us how to change the screen proctor. My wife didn't have her old phone, he told her how transfer her info from home. We wanted to keep one of the old phones for emergence, he did that too. Ended with giving us his Verizon card and support numbers. All with a very pleasant attitude. The whole thing took about 30 min. tops. While we were there a young couple came in. They too were from Fort Bragg. They had a bad experience at the same vender in Fort Bragg and Verizon had told them to go to Ukiah. As we left they were getting their business done. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! Verizon sent me out a SIM, it got lost in the mail.. First off, just. attempting to contact Verizon without an activated account was a NIGHTMARE!!! I waited on. hold for 30+ mins multiple times, only to be told that the tracking info was Correct! no keep in mind this was 4 days After the Sim was supposed to have been delivered... So I explain to them its clearly been lost, they say there is NOTHING they can do!!!! I said, pleas just re-send the SIM on Tuesday, no, they refuse!! Now after fedEx pushing the delivery day back by a day, every day and Friday rolls around. So I just visit a Verizon store, they say we have no SIMS here, but you can use our phone... So I call Verizon, AT THE FUCKING VERIZON store, they place me on hold, and the cordless phone at Verizon runs empty on battery im on hold for 45 fucking mins... Holy hell! Well I had a few meetings I had to go to, lets not forget folks arent even sure if im going to Fucking show up because I haven't had service since Tuesday!!! Go to my meetings, and after, by the grace of fucking pope whoever I manage to get a live rep on Chat.... the rep tells me again they cant re-send a sim, and that if I visit a local Verizon store they can give me a SIM right there. I wanted to fucking eat glass, holy shit. So after telling the Rep she's misinformed, and them asking me repeatedly not to use profanity, I finally ask for a fucking manager. and the first thing she says is sorry for your trouble were going to overnight you a SIM.. I thought I was in heaven, but I quickly crashed into hell because the SIM never got fucking sent!!! went to ATT.com easily chatted with a live REP who was extremely helpful, and overnighted me an ATT SIM at NO EXTRA Charge!!! ATT went above and beyond to earn my trust and service, where Verizon, well id say there are everything thats wrong with Capitalism bundled up in a company pretending to offer connection services... DO NOT TRUST Verizon. Make sure you double check everything before you leave the store. A few days ago we went into the location (1 hour away) to switch carriers. We purchased 3 new iPhones. My son was on vacation, so we waited until Saturday to port his number. We told them the number and they said it would not be a problem. On Saturday we found out it was not portable number. We wanted to cancel everything and just stay with AT&T because we had not cancel them yet, however because I traded in my old iPhone to get a credit off my new phone, If we tried to go back to AT&T we would be out the restocking fee of $105.00, $200 from my old iPhone which was gone now and all the time and gas we had put into this horrible new purchase. The manager Denny is just a slimy salesman. I can't believe they are able to lie to you to make a sale and then not honor their word. The manager Denny did offer me a credit of $50 off and to waive my three $20 activation fees however on my paperwork the other salesman had already waive two of the three activation fees when I made the purchase. Denny said that was not listed on my account. So he really only gave me a credit of $60 for our troubles. Who knows what other lies or charges I will find out about on my first bill. read more

It's almost like going to buy a new car. Everytime I go to a Verizon store you are hounded at what to buy and what upgrade. In September of 2015 I got an upgrade. I was promised my bill would remain the same. My recurring bill increased about 20 bucks a month to my surprise 2 billing cycles later. Apparently when you are in contract you are charged more according to the Verizon customer service representing. So a heads up on your next phone purchase might be better to not upgrade and buy a phone outright. read more
