This store has a very rude manager and female employee (working 3 pm Aug 26 2022) thy also data mine when they scan your ID and sell your information and then lie to you about it claiming it's not policy but "mandatory by law". I would not go here. Ever. I also urge others to file a complaint if they have had this experience. Laws need to be made to protect consumers.. "We use your information to deliver your service and customize your experience. But we also share information in ways that may be considered a "sale" of personal information under the California Consumer Privacy Act and the Nevada Privacy Law."- ATT I would like to add, I travel frequently all over the US and when I make a purchase anywhere else if they ask to scan my ID (everywhere else is polite enough to ask first) I request they do not scan my ID but verify my account with passcode or other means such as passport, credit cards, employee ID they are all agreeable and accommodating.Some do not realize there is more intent of scanning ID than verifying identity. Avoid this store In Ukiah if you possibly can. We were trying to replace my husband's IPhone 8 with a easy to use similar to the 8. We were told there wasn't a model like it any longer so we ended up with a 13 which they assured us was very easy to use and all the new phones were like it. We returned to the store several times requesting help with it and called them since we live an hour 1/2 away, multiple times. After 8 months of struggling with the phone my husband was ready to smash it. I called Att consumer assistance and he told me they did have a phone that we would have been happy with called an SE. the Rep said we should have been told about this option. We weren't. The 13 was $1,100 the SE was less than $200. So the commission would have been much lower. Getting the picture yet? I reported them to the BBB and got $500 back and we gave the Iphone 13 to a granddaughter. Save yourself some grief go elsewhere or research what's available before you go to the store. read more

I can't even rate this company. Not the store because Reed was nice enough to help me. First of all I couldn't cheat an account and got locked out of my internet account. I couldn't set one up for my cell phone because I didn't have a pin. I was supposed to get a Visa card for switching companies to pay off my old company. I'm eligible for DirecTV on my phone and can't access it. I have been on the phone either in chat or in a call with this company for the past two days for att minumum 3 hours. I was hung up on twice and transferred at least 4 times. So I decided to use the chat and I received assistance to get into my account. Still nothing on the promotions that they offered. I'm frustrated by this company to say the least. I left my previous company of 12 years for chaos and unfilled promises. read more

So I have my cellular phone from AT&T so I thought when I needed Internet at home that it would probably be a good idea to go with AT&T yeah I really really wish I didn't who won the sales guy that helped me told me once I got my account up then I had to forward my account information to their promotions department to find out what I could be eligible for after a couple weeks of waiting with no answers for my router, The sales guy was right there for me and tell it was up and running could not find a promotions to park meant and when I asked him for assistance he no longer was able to help me shocker!!! Sales guy! So not even months into having Internet at home my router isn't working that I'm not very shocked about because they probably refurbish them without telling us and just hope for the best it has been three days I called tech-support of coarse they walked me through the most basic of resetting but still no Internet there is no way to get an actual technician on the line. So you are stuck talking to a dumbass machine that really doesn't know what to do except for restart it and any idiot could restart it, you don't need a tech support line for that but I guess it so they can say we have tech-support available to you 24/7 March 12, 2020 Follow up it has almost been a week and I took the chance and cold the technical support line the phone number that they gave me and I actually got through to a person and yay their scheduling a technician to come out here my Internet has worked for like maybe three weeks straight and has not worked since I have to say the technician was so nice and defused my anger and helped me through she was absolutely amazing! read more

I must start out by saying that I have just completed a two week stretch of trying to purchase a good no contract plan, that includes a new phone, online. WHAT a nightmare. My head is swimming with spending hours upon hours of talking on the phone, dealing with receiving phones in the mail that don't work etc.O.k. So that is what COULD happen to you..unless you have an epiphany and walk into your local AT&T store like I did. Everything changed when I did that. I walked in and was greeted with a big smile by Jessica. She immediately made my 5 year old son at home by setting him up with some cartoons to watch and we got down to business. It was so fast, painless and easy to choose my new phone..and did I mention stress free? I noticed that the employees bustling around looked relaxed, happy and like they really enjoyed their jobs. This is always a great sign to me. Jessica's associate Phaedra then swooped in and was an expert/lifesaver who took me through the set up process. She was so thorough, so helpful and just really everything you could ever want if you were in my position. I can't believe I never knew about this before. I now have an incredible plan and phone..and feel like I got EXACTLY what I wanted. I could not be happier, and can not speak more highly of this great team of people. read more

I'm giving AT&T three out of five stars only because their customer service is pretty good. Other than that, the actual service is absolutely terrible. I have no service in some spots where someone with another provider has full bars. I have at most two bars anywhere in my house which is in the middle of town and not far from the store. I have been with AT&T for 10 years with 2 phone lines and directv. After my experience yesterday that will no longer be the case. I needed to add another line and purchase another phone for my business. On my day off I went to the store excited to make my purchase. I was given a choice of three colors in the phone I selected-gold, black and brushed silver. We did the paperwork on the ipad and she got out the phone and it was a shiny chrome silver. I told her that I did not want that color. She then told me it was not available in the brushed silver. I then said I would rather have the black then. Despite having never touched the chrome colored phone these people charged me $45 for a restocking fee. They are the most unethical people I have ever dealt with in this city. I would not recommend at&t to anyone who has to deal with the people in this office. If I could have given negative stars I would have been happy to do so. I have a new, pricey phone I have not even used yet because of this horrible, negative experience. read more

I knew exactly what I wanted! I went into the Ukiah store and I was quickly asked if I needed help. Really, everything went at a reasonable pace, so I'm not complaining about having to wait. However, instead of the prepaid plan I had in mind, 10 to 25 cents a minute, the clerk kept repeating information about plans I didn't want. I asked to phone my husband, as I knew he would be able to describe what I wanted clearly. (Truly, I was being clear, The clerk seemed to think I must have wanted another plan.) I tried several times, in different configurations, to make an outside call. The clerk was not remotely helpful. I walked across the room and spoke with someone who seemed to have a better handle on things, asking him about the prepaid plan I wanted. I had a hunch it wasn't any of those the clerk had mentioned, and it was true, she seemed to have totally skipped over it. Getting down to business! I chose a new phone number, but not enough time to write it down before the clerk moved on to something else. I'm thinking I must have offended her when I went over her head to get the plan I wanted. She looks at my "new" iPhone 7, a refurbished product I just bought from Apple.com. "Did you get that phone here?" "No, I bought it from Apple.com." "We sell those here." "Really? You sell refurbished ones?" "*snort* No." with an uppity look on her face. Additionally, I requested online usage. She said the plan didn't come with that, left the room and came back, saying that yes, the plan does cover online usage, but it was going to cost quite a bit, 25 cents/minute. Since I'm not one to spend lots of time on the phone, or Internet, the plan, I think is perfect. Especially since I will be in Europe all summer and plan to set up another prepaid service over there so that I won't have to pay the $10/day international service charges. After encountering this clerk, there is nothing I want more than to make sure I never have to deal with that clerk again! She has very poor people skills. I recently moved and have now can only get one bar on my phone. I cannot recieve phone calls with out them dropping. I called and asked about getting a Micro cell. I was on the phone with them for over 20 minutes explaining to them why they should not charge me two hundred dollars for this. They did finally agree and said they would send it right out to me. A week later I did not receive the Micro cell. I called back and was told that they do not send these out that they require you to come in and pick it up( i live in lake county ) and that it will be two hundred dollars. I asked to speak to a supervisor I was told he was busy with another customer and that he would call me back... Well of course he never did. I walked into the store and was greeted by a young man who tried to help me. Then someone a little bit older came out from the back room and just stood next to my daughter and I. Didnt greet us, nor acknowledge our presence. Not once was I asked for my account information or my pin. And I am a current att Costumer. I came in because my daughters phone literally isn't working, his advice to me was to go home and connect it to my computer. . . . . What HORRIBLE COSTUMER SERVICE! He Percieded to get loud and yell att me in front of my daughter. There was a line of costumers paying by the atm machine at the corner of the store. I waited outside called costumer service who actually took the time to help me and guide me in what to do to solve the issue. What's the point of having a store if they don't help???? NO COSTUMER SERVICE WHATSOVER .....i was embarrassed, a costumers outside proceeded to re assure me to make a complaint for how I was treated...... i will never be back, sad because I live a couple blocks away from there. . . . ATT is our internet carrier. January 6th the net became unreliable. I believe it was because of heavy rain and a bad line ATT will not replace (I've been told that in years past by ATT tech guys). I called and the promised a person out by the 13th in the AM. On the 12th the net failed completely. The 13th AM showed and no deal. NO SHOW. I called and it would be the 14th in the AM for sure. NO SHOW. I called at noon and was told by 4 in the afternoon. NO SHOW again I called on Sunday and an appointment was made for Monday 8 to 12. NO SHOW. in the afternoon I called and was told someone would be there by 4 PM. NO SHOW again I called and someone would help us at the church on Tuesday before noon. NO SHOW I called and was told someone could come on Tuesday the 24th to help. So we went a week without any net for approaching 2 weeks. I do a lot of work on the net and have people who depend upon my posting of my Rev. Study and messages. Not life threatening but still an annoyance. On the 24th ATT showed their consistency with a NO SHOW in the AM but promised a PM tech person. NO SHOW in the PM also. The weather is dry and my net is spotty but here now. Now someone is going to fix it on FEB the 2nd. I would guess they expect me to pay my bill on time but I am pretty disgusted with ATT no-Customer Service. I have spoken with 18 people: Monet, an anonymous lady, Fred, Manny, Ralph, Renz, Jon, Jay, Maria, Sabrina, James, Anna, Mark, Jess, Julius, Ella, Al, and finally Phil who said he was the area boss. Phil set the Feb. 2 date. I have had eight case ID numbers. If I could dump ATT I would in a heartbeat but they are the only player out here. Sad. I wanted to purchase a simple, month-by-month renewable data plan for my iPad. Apparently this is very complicated! First of all you cannot buy less than 2 gigs per month. I don't need nearly that much, but I don't get the option to buy less. Fine. Whatever. It's only $25 so it's not that big a deal plus the data will roll over to the next month -- or so they assure me. But they can't actually enroll me in the month-by-month payment. They have technical difficulties. So they give me an 800 number to an AT & T cust svc line and tell me to do it that way. Annoying, since I've already spent 45 minutes with them effin' around, but whatever. So I call that number and THAT person says, oh no, the store effed up. I can't believe they didn't know better, she says. They should never have tried to enroll you in that plan, she says. You need a DIFFERENT plan with a DIFFERENT sim card. I tell her I've already bought way more data than I need. Just use it up, she says, then contact us again. Cool. So over the next 30 days I use about 1/10 of the data I purchased... the data that should have rolled over to the next month if they'd only done what I asked in the first place... the data no one EVER told me would just disappear... but it does... so when I go to the store to re-enroll... oh no, that plan she told you about is an APPLE plan, not an AT & T plan, we don't offer it here, you can enroll in the ORIGINAL type plan we told you about here in the store, the one I wanted in the FIRST PLACE that they couldn't make happen; but can I retain my already-paid-for, unused data, even though I haven't switched out sim cards yet? Nope, *I* let it expire and there is NO WAY they can make it right. Here's what they tell me: I have to re-enroll in the plan I originally wanted in the first place -- that they couldn't manage to do -- that they told me to call a number to make happen -- that I spent my own time trying to make happen -- that the person on the other end of the number THEY gave me told me THEY shouldn't have sold me -- that when I went back to the store they told me WAS the right plan but my card was declined when they tried to enroll me -- and THAT was a complete lie, right there. My card was not declined. They had technical difficulties when they first tried to set it up for reoccurring payments; the initial payment went through just fine. They spent 45 minutes effin' around trying to fix the technical difficulties, couldn't, and decided I should enroll myself via calling the 800 number they gave me. So I called that number and did what the nice AT&T lady on the other end told me to do... and see above. They LIED about what happened. Then when I confronted them on that they denied that they had said it was declined. "Yeah, we had technical difficulties! We acted in good faith!" "Then why did you try to tell me my card was declined?" Just more of the same: "It wouldn't go through!" "Yeah, because YOU had technical difficulties, NOT because my card was declined!" "Yeah, well, we acted in good faith!" You get the picture. It's not that it's a lot of money. I can certainly afford to lose $25. It's just that THEY made the mistake and then LIED about it. AT & T already forced me to buy more than I need and promised me it would roll over or that I would be able to use it all up and THEN re-enroll. I haven't tried the customer service number yet, though I will. But the people at the store were totally unhelpful. They were COMPLETELY unwilling to admit they made the error and to cover their tracks they LIED. They are crooks and liars. Stay FAR away from this store! They SUCK! read more

Let's talk customer service, because that's really what it's all about, right? I've been fortunate enough to have Reed available whenever I've gone there. He's pretty damn amazing. Super competent, and has always had my best interest at heart. I'm pretty picky about letting loose of my hard earned money, and of course phone, tv, internet and all, are through the roof expensive. With Reed's guidance, I feel that my family gets the best deal possible. AT&T erroneously shut off my wifi because some moron could not read the order that it was supposed to be on June 12 (we are moving) but AT&T did this June 1. They admit the error but cannot fix it for at least 7 days! This is ridiculous! AT&T tried to convince me it had no way to correct its error and I'd have to apply for a new service. I do not believe AT&T does not have a way to fix its own errors expeditiously. I asked for a manger to call me and after repeated promises I NEVER received a call! I believe this action against us was intentional as we were not continuing with AT&T when we move. On top of this I had repeated problems with wifi failures over three years here in Ukiah. AT&T is a bully and the consumer has no recourse to its poor treatment. I would NOT recommend AT&T to anyone! My rating of one star is only because it is the lowest rating and YELP does not negative ratings, which I would give AT&T. read more

I've had At&t's Internet in willits for the last 4-5 years, when I first started my contract with them everything seemed fine. The internet worked for like a couple months it went out for 10-30 minutes at a time every once in a while but not enough to where I cared to report a problem. Now my internet goes out muiltiply times a day from a 2 minute duration to a dam hour. When I lived in the god dam Bay Area I didn't have any trouble with my internet an payed just the same amount as I do here. Why are we paying 40 -50 something a month the same as other providers offer for FUCKIN TRASH internet that I can barely fuckin use. I've called bad them out here before an all they do is give me new routers and there all fuckin trash the red lights always come on .
