I couldn't get a live person from Straight Talk and it was so frustrating. So after over an hour of back and forth between the Apple employees and my frustration with Straight Talk I was ready to cancel the whole deal. Then a young man named Jake entered the picture. He was wonderful, simply the best. He could see my frustration and he said without reservation "I'm going to fix this!", and he did. I don't know what he did but he was so confident that he could switch the service that I knew he could. I know that at the Apple Stores prices are at a premium but with such outstanding service I wouldn't hesitate to go back there again. Thank you, Jake. You're a great asset to the Salem N.H. When I was at the store to cancel this, it was never done. I had to call Verizon and pay the first month. When my grandson ordered his phone he did not receive the trade-in credit due him for several months due to the mishandling of the order by the salesman. Luckily the customer service representative on the phone was helpful with that. I still recommend Verizon, just not a franchise store.

These guys take no responsibility for the issue. It took me two long calls with Verizon customer service reps while they investigated and decided that the store screwed up and put in a wrong phone ID once, canceled it and put in another one, so Verizon ended up with two trade-ins they were expecting from us instead of one. These guys not only have no clue what they are doing, they are also irresponsible and do not have any information to investigate and resolve these screw-ups that they do. At least that is what they told me on the phone, he wasn't even interested in checking if there was something he could look into instead of saying call Verizon.
