On November 10th, 2024 both my son and I had the pleasure dealing with Ms. Mimi Phan. My son was looking to upgrade his IPhone to the IPhone 16 Pro during the promotion period where he would recieve an IPad and Apple Watch. Ms. Phan was extremely helpful in going through the entire process of upgrading my son's phone. This place has gone downhill. First, the door was locked on a Sunday afternoon and the fellow who opened it had to spend ten minutes on the phone talking to someone to find out why it kept locking. He kept addressing me as "Boss" although I am old enough to be his father and although I told him my name. Is someone like that ignorant? Untrained? Both? He could not deal with my matters...he could not find my account in the system using my cell phone number(!) and told me I needed a pin number which I do not have. My Mass. license was not enough!! I went to the Veriizon store in the Rockingham Mall and the people took care of my matter. However, I am ending my relationship with Verizon (more than 20 years) because of the horrible service in Methuen and Salem. read more

Ok, so I have an IPhone 11. A bit of a dinosaur, but it's not ancient. My phone case cracked so I stopped to get a new one. All they had on display were cases for IPhone 13 or14. So I asked one of the staff if they had anything for an 11. He replied , "Um, no, try Target or Amazon"... So I drove across to T-Mobile. A young man called Mike could not have been more helpful. Just spent another hour on the phone with cellular sales answering service. They called to give me a tracking number from the store WITHOUT a shipper name or dates etc. The scam continues. This company applied 2250 to my Verizon acct and charged another 371.24 for misc charges. This company is running some kind of scam, ponzi scheme, fraud you me it. Time to call the DA and file a complaint on both Cellular sales and Verizon. read more

we added a new line and the representative said they had a new offer to add a free watch when you add a new line and the watch is free. he said we will only pay 5 Dollars for the plan. when we got the bill it was 22 dollars for the watch, plan was 10 dollars not 5 and the watch was not free like the rep claimed. we will bring it back to the store. do not lie to customers please. honor what you say. read more

I feel I was dooped. Receipt put directly in the bag charge of $90 for an activation I could have done myself and told to jusy call 611 to have reversed did just that and they informed the store manager would be contacting me to make it right, because that is NOT a Verizon charge but a store fee...well so,far nothing! I was told I was getting 50% off supplies, unless the cases are $70 there was NO discount (needless to say they'll be going back!) THEN my phone credit was $35 receipt says $20. My original phone case with customized popsocket is also missing, to say I'm mad is an underestimatement. Then....when I tried to submit this to the Verizon survey received. No "can I help you". 2 people have clients, not sure what the 3rd is here doing. 1 of the 2 "working" people stops what she's doing to go play UNO with a person sitting around. Stay away from this place. These sales associates are shady and liars. They try to sell you stuff you already have and give you one price and it is must more. I was not smart enough to say NO but when I got home I realized it was the same device I had. So I took it back I get my money back but the sales clerk did not take the tablet off of my bill. So I had to return to the place again. Then a different sale associate told me Oh, I will take care of that for you. He made it sound like he did, But oh know. Similarly to others who have made reviews on this store, I would give 0 stars if possible. I've never experienced what this store has put me through in the many years that I have been a loyal Verizon customer. I upgraded my phone in early November and for the past 3 months I have left many messages with various representatives at this store. I did not receive a call back from any of them! I also have spent countless hours on the phone with Verizon customer service representatives (all of which have been documented) to clear this whole situation up! Sadly this is still in progress. I can't stress enough that you should avoid going to this particular store at all costs. I can't even begin to list the many ways they have screwed me over - charged set up fees without being told about them in the first place, giving me promotions that were later deemed invalid and removed from my account, etc. I've seriously considered switching carriers, but if Verizon is able to fix the mess this store made, I'll think about my options. I only gave them one star because I could not give them "0" stars unfortunately. I switched from Sprint to Verizon and it was an okay experience until I received a $1,000 bill the next day. Jacob Couture was my sales representative and he is a complete LIAR. He stated over and over again after repeatedly asking him the same questions if the tablets were really free and he said yes. Now I am paying a $10 fee every month plus sales tax and another fee for every tablet on my plan. I even recommended my cousin and she went the next day, he AGAIN lied about the supposed "free" tablets and she also got another $1000 bill. After several calls to the store and leaving messages with sales associates to speak to the manager-he finally emailed me back-not even a call. He gave me the information I needed which were their Badge #s but his excuse for not helping me was because there is a contract on ALL 3 of the tablets, when I was not communicated that to start with. I repeatedly asked Jacob Couture if there was a service charge for the tablets. He repeatedly said no. I asked the manager if we can have a look at the cameras he said they do not have sound. So-pretty much their sales man can say/do whatever they want and not keep to the original agreement. DON'T EVER GO TO THIS PLACE, THEY ARE AWFUL. Even management doesn't care-he seemed aloof about my email, so he must get them often. I went to the Verizon store in Salem, NH and they help with a promo I was having issues with but still wanted me to pay for the supposed "free" tablets. I had Jacob Couture on three way with the customers service rep from Verizon Wireless and he was asked "didn't you say the tablets were free?" And he said "I don't remember exactly what I said a month ago" meaning he always changes his sales pitch so he can lie to the customer and be able to get them to spend more money while telling them a product is "free". I should have stayed with Sprint. Verizon Wireless has been awful via phone and in store. The managers from the Salem store were pleasant but they could not help me with the tablets which is absolutely ridiculous, but because I didn't purchase the tablets there, they could not help me. But isn't Verizon Wireless one entity-why would you let someone advertise your name/your look so they can treat people unfairly, it makes Verizon Wireless also a headache to work with. This ISN'T a real Verizon store it's just a premium retailer-this means that they take pictures of Corporate Verizon Stores and make replicas of them with their own. The whole entire sales team answers the phone as if they are bored with their life and you could definitely hear it in their tone of voice. I asked 4 different representatives to please have their manager call me back and every time I called back because several days/weeks have passed and no response. The next manager i worked with had no idea what I was talking about. Ridiculous. They have communication issues regarding their sales team and management as well as being honest with their customers or soon to be. I told him I want to save money. He told me my bill was going to be $230 with taxes and fees included; every month the bill comes up to $500 plus. It's the most despicable modern day robbery ever. Please; REFRAIN FROM COMING HERE AND TELL YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS AS WELL. I hope this helped. read more

My complaint is mostly about Sprint overall, though this location contributed to the problem. Since there is no option to rate Sprint Customer Care I am forced to do it for this location. When Sprint advertised $30 a month per line using the old Verizon rep, I decided to look into it. I used new business phone line, asked every question in the book to clarify and make sure I would be saving money because that was my objective. Was given a quote and therefore placed the order. Rec'd phones in timely manner and called to activate, was told it took 48 hours to activate (Never heard of such a thing, but oh well), I could not create acct because not activated so could not see what first bill would be, but on the phone while waiting account info was provided and I heard I had a balance of $219.83. I wondered about this since according to my plan I was told it should be around $100 with prorate. So I asked agent, agent could not answer and kept putting me on hold. Finally told that it was not my bill but my credit limit before service would be cut off if not paid. Did not make sense to me but said I would wait and see what 1st bill would be. A few days later rec'd bill and yes it was $219.83. It went all down hill from there. When I called again was put on hold for over 1 hour (I was able to change and drive to work while waiting never picked up once to say they were working on it) Called next day was told I was put on different plan than quoted so bill high. Told could not change plan over phone had to go to store, called Plaistow, NH (now out of business) agent extremely rude. Called customer care again and got same agent spoke to before and said now could fix it over phone but had to go through supervisor, put me on hold again. Could not give me original plan asked for so cxld it and promised ALL my money back but had to take to store. So took to Lawrence. First time called before I arrived and agent rude, so went next day Agent was nice but said unable to take phone back so gave me number to call. Called number but was told would take 2-3 business day, upset so asked for supervisor. Supervisor arranged for overnight shipping and provided all necessary information to return (only satisfying experience). Was told refund would be 7-10 business from receipt of phones. 14 business days later still no refund, call again. Instead of refund rec'd new bill of over $400. Called again. Yes confirmed receipt of phones on specified day, but don't know why no refund have to investigate will let you know. No communication from them for 14 more business days. About to call but finally received refund but $10 short. Called again, was told would send check (of course in 7 - 10 business days) Still have not received full refund. They decided to send me a new bill with a $10 credit on a CLOSED ACCOUNT. If i sent them a $10 check from a bank account that was closed I would be charged a late fee and hit my credit and possible criminal charges for check fraud. Sorry so long but this is how I was treated. Still fighting for full refund!! read more
