I worked with Brennan to convert our phones from a personal account to a business account. This was not an easy or fast task. He was very knowledgeable, helpful and patient dealing with technology challenged customers (me). We switched phone numbers on phones and added a new line (2 lines on another phone). EVERY time, when I leave and contact Verizon service over the phone they are happy to help and there are no issues with what I am requesting. Lately, it is Impossible to talk with some at Verizon to conduct a transaction. I spent 2 hours in their on line chat trying to purchase 2 phones and at the time of payment the connection was lost and without a follow up on their end that effort was for naught. Untrained Associates: Visited this location today with a broken phone to get it fixed.. instead of directing us towards our insurance policy, they said it would cost 180$ to fix or go to the Mac/Apple place down the way. I called Verizon personally to which the technical support was appalled that the associate did not inform us about our insurance policy and to file a claim with Asurion. Thank you for wasting my time and gas due to your lack of training. For anyone with a problem with a phone and have full insurance, file a claim via online, call verizon themselves. Very disappointed with the customer service. The man that helped us at Verizon did a horrible job explaining everything and made it so difficult to understand. Once we finally got the phones ordered he said they'd arrive the next week. Then he messed something up and had to redo the order but assured us it was good. Nothing arrived. So we went into the store and the wait was over a hour. We ask the guy at the front desk and he said that our phones would be coming soon. Fast forward a week and still nothing. Now I am on the phone for over 30 minutes waiting to speak to a rep. All this time we have received 0 communication or order updates or status updates. The communication is ridiculous. I will update this if it finally gets resolved but for now super unimpressed. UPDATE Finally someone answered. Then sent me to orders and activations. Another 20 minutes later. This time talking to some lady who could not give me a status and told me I had to talk to someone else. I have been a loyal Verizon customer for years,, I have been trying to upgrade my phone for about nine months now without paying the full amount,, I have left reviews I have made sure I've been on time with all my bills I have done everything I could possibly do to raise my spending limit., yet they still want me to pay the full amount,, I just went into the store to try to upgrade my phone again. He said I need to pay my bill pay the bill and then he tells me I don't qualify for an upgrade for monthly payments. I would have to pay the phone out right?,, Something isn't adding up. I have been a Verizon customer for years. My phone has never been shut off. I'm not understanding I have been given false info on False info. I am highly disappointed AGAIN IN VERIZON. Our company signed up for 6 buy one get one phones with Verizon. After the 12 months passed we noticed the credits were not applied to our account. I called Verizon and spent hours on the phone with customer service to end up back at the store where I was told the problem could be resolved. After 3 visits in the store trying to work everything out with Anthony, we were informed that not only could we not get the bogo credits because we were "too late and the phones have been paid off" it was also "our fault" because we were negligent in deciphering their intentionally complex bill. We stopped by to pick up the phone we ordered online as we were headed to Las Vegas to catch our return flight, the guy stopped me outside the door and after confirming the order asked me to stay in my van, and said he is going to wave at us once the phone was ready, we waited patiently in the van but no one came out. The store is BEAUTIFUL, clean and very well laid out and they sit down at a desk and genuinely help you. I would like to preface this by saying I have worked in customer service for many years. I went in to have a couple of my questions answered. First, the gentleman at the door told me i could get in the que and that it would be about 30-45 minutes. No problem, I went to get something to eat and came back. I was supposed to get a text when they were ready to help me. After waiting for about 2 hours, I went back in and spoke to who I presumed was the manager. Told him I had been on the list for about 2 hours and he honestly didn't seem to care and was rude about "checking me in again". So I told him what I needed done, and he wrote down a phone number and said we can't do that here you have to call this number. Now he might've had a bad day, or a difficult customer previously, but for someone to wait for almost 2 hours, to not even receive an apology and not even get any help in the store is pretty ridiculous. Verizon, I'm honestly curious why they are even there because both times I went in I was basically ushered out the door like they didn't want to help me. Isn't that the whole point of the brick and mortar store? To help customers? Hopefully people have better experiences than I did, but I read a lot of the reviews and just still gave them the benefit of the doubt. And no, Covid was not an issue because there was plenty of other people in the store and no one was wearing masks at all. I was in store wanting to upgrade my phone. I was told to call a number for their phone sales department, because it would be quicker and easier. The first lady that i spoke to automatically sent the phone to my old address (which is 16 hours away from my new address), without even confirming that she had the right address on file. I have waited 3 days, been on hold for about 8 hours, lost service for 2 hours, and have spoken with at least 6 people now (the majority of which were rude). I'm probably going to have to come back to the store and deal with more people that don't know what's going on and don't have the training to figure it out. read more

I was very disheartened after buying a new iPhone 11pro Max. I spent a few days trying to get it to work after being shuffled out the door after my purchase. I went back for help but again was blown off. The third time I went back to return the phone and give up, I was brought over to rep "Killian". He was fantastic. He treated me like a person rather than the number I had been the previous times. He rally turned everything around for me and got me back up and running. They offer to sell me another one that cracks like a potato chip. Is that really supposed to protect the screen? Not in this universe! Also, the extra battery pack generated so much heat, the glue, yes glue, separated and the front of the phone detached from the back. Solution, spend hundreds of dollars for a new phone. We bought a phone yesterday and asked before we left if the phone was activated, they said it was. We got home 80 miles away and the phone didn't work. We called Verizon customer support. They said the store never report d the sale so they couldn't help us. Our credit card was charged but the purchase was never reported to Verizon. We had to return to the store the next day. I went in to get a second line put on my account for my daughter. I wanted to use my previous iPhone for her that I had kept for this purpose. For whatever reason that phone wouldn't boot up so we ended up leaving. Once I returned home I got a text verification that my data plan had been changed. The guy working at Verizon changed my plan without my consent. He even knew if we didn't get the phone to boot up that I would not be going thru with getting a new line. I ended up having to track down a customer service person from their website to correct the issue and I almost lost my promo plan of 5gigs because of this. This store is amazing & runs like a well oiled machine. & KYLE, the associate that assisted me, HE IS AWESOME. I would go back just for him. Having a father that was a used car salesman, I know tricks of the trade of the art of sales. Kyle doesn't use those, HE tells you the hard facts, & spends the time with you that is needed. He really needs to be recognized ... he needs a raise either commission % or hourly ~ not sure how it's done there. When I go back I will definitely want to deal with Kyle. The Verizon employee was rude and dismissive after I waited an excessive amount of time to be seen. Verizon did not take the time to diagnose the phone issue once they noticed a very small scratch on the edge of the phone (which I never noticed). He told me to contact the insurance company and went on to the next person. Lazy and a complete waste of time. The insurance company wanted to know what Verizon found before they could help me .... I decided to take a chance on Simply Mac. The Simply Mac guys are fantastic!! Super professional, helpful, and pleasant. My iPhone 6 was having mystery issues and they went above and beyond to determine the problem and resolve it. There were several other people in the store who were also extremely happy with the service they received. The Simply Mac technicians quickly found the issue with the phone and it had nothing to do with a scratch. I would advise everyone to avoid the Verizon store and go immediately to Simply Mac. read more

Employee sold me a phone that wouldn't work with my plan, which I specifically told him I did not want to lose. When I got home, I received an email from VZW that my "new plan" was now in effect. Returned to the store the next day, December 1, 2015, to return the phone, but they talked me into keeping it temporarily while they submitted an "inactive pricing request" form online, which would take about a week. Never heard, returned to the store to learn the form was submitted incorrectly and had to be resubmitted and a few days later that the employee who sold us the phone no longer worked there. As RVers, we travel throughout the US southwest, never staying in one place longer than a couple of weeks, but we were assured we could return the phone if needed at any corporate store. After 5 weeks on the phone with corporate customer service about 6 times and demanding to speak to someone in management, I finally got my old plan restored, and was able to return the phone January 6, 2016 in Yuma, Arizona where I was charged a restocking fee. Called the St. George store to refund that and they won't - can't even get past the rude person who answered the phone. Apparently everyone at VZW except the staff in St. George, Utah knows that a 4G phone won't work with my 3G plan. And they insisted I not return my phone to them, but return it elsewhere later if I couldn't get my old plan reinstated, but never told me there would be a fee for that. It's in the fine print? They know nobody reads that detail. They knowingly ripped me off and won't return my calls or come to the phone when I call. Rated one star because I can't rate as zero! Would not recommend Verizon to anyone, let alone this store location. read more

Went in here because I had busted up my phone. They didn't help much. Gave me a card to do a claim. I was out a phone and needed one for work, so I got my dads old I Phone 5 and took it in there to be activated. The guy took the SIM card out of my I Phone 7 and put into the I Phone 5, and sent me out of there thinking it would work. It didn't. That night I got a email saying that my number had been turned off. So the next day I called *611 and explained what had been going on (for over an hour) and they told me that the I Phone 5 and the I Phone 7 SIM card are not compatible, and that the guy at Verizon should not be working there. I was badly mistreated by Madelyn, Manage Sales. She yelled at me telling me I'm rude for asking questions to clarify something she is telling me and my sister. In fact she is the most rude sales person I have ever encountered in my life. Madelyn should find another job if she hates working with people. To me she is racist and anti Asians.
