Today I went into the location at Natomas which I've been to several times before. This most recent visit today was for me to turn in my old iPhone 16 Pro Max since I upgraded to the 17 Pro Max. I will say the process has been an interesting one not by any fault of anyone at Verizon wireless. It's just the whole system upgrade process. However, today, I have to say that the same Verizon rep who helped me when I came in about over a week or so Ago was there today to help me and literally went above and beyond. Janet is the true MVP because I have three devices two of which are active and I was turning in the one iPhone today. What should have been a simple process turned a little extended really to no one's fault but for whatever reason initially I forgot my password to my iCloud access so that we could proceed with erasing the phone I was turning in. So I had to give it the security grace period, and come back so I could finish the process. No problem I came back, and Janet was there to assist me again! I have to note that she was super friendly and kept her level of professionalism extremely high during this long process. So once we had the password issue corrected, the process to erase the phone from my account took a bad turn when the wrong phone got erased but no worries. The phones were backed up. We were able to fix it, but it still was an issue erasing the iPhone 16 Pro Max for whatever reason. Janet suspected it has something to do with the Wi-Fi not being so strong, which turned out to be really the reason because we had everything ready to go at this point. Her coworker I can't remember his name, assisted us and literally he touched the phone and tapped it and then boom five minutes later the phone was successfully erased. Janet even assisted having me contact customer service on the phone because I needed to remove a device and line that don't get used at all that was done successfully. The overall theme of this experience, even though I was at Verizon probably longer than I wanted it to be was the fact of how I was treated and I've been coming to that location for years I can't recall ever having a bad experience. If I could give Janet 10 stars alone based upon her customer service I would. read more

Came to this Verizon location to trade in my iPhone 13 Pro Max for the new 17 Pro Max. The employee (I believe his name was Will) repeatedly told me they "don't do trade-ins" -- which is funny because every single time I've upgraded my phone, I've done a trade-in through Verizon with no problem. On top of that, I've always paid for my phones in cash, but he claimed I could only do that if our monthly bill increased. He then quoted me nearly $1,400 for the new phone and said our monthly bill would go up. It made absolutely no sense and felt like I was being taken advantage of. I ended up going to the Apple Store in the mall, and the employee there explained that Verizon reps work on commission -- which explains a lot. I got the iPhone 17 Pro Max (1199 or 1299 before tax I believe), protector, extra chargers, other accessories, activation, fee, and everything else for around $950 total (had about $300 trade in value from previous phone also). No games. No weird pricing. No pressure. Honestly, save yourself the headache and go straight to Apple if you want to upgrade your phone. This experience was enough for my husband and me to start shopping for a new carrier altogether -- paying $200/month for two lines is ridiculous when other carriers are charging around $80 read more

My cell phone charger recently and suddenly went kaput. This time I wanted to buy a Verizon branded charger. In the past, those worked like a champ for me. My last few chargers were online discount purchases. Before hopping in my car to head to the shop. I wondered if my local Verizon shop was open. I called... just a recording advising to look up additional info online. So I did. The shop is encouraging shoppers to set an appointment online, not encouraging walk ins to limit the number of customers in the store to properly social distance. Also they encouraged online purchases with options of a store pickup. If the item is in stock and purchased prior to 2 pm, the item will be available for pickup that day. With my battery slowly draining, I purchased the charger online. I got a reply text within 25 minutes to indicate my item was ready for pickup. Great! Before I left the shop, I opened the package to test it out. D'oh! The charger was the wrong size even though I followed the online size/model chart. No problem. The staff checked inventory and got me the correct charger. He refunded my other purchase and rang up the correct charger. Easy peasy. Before I left the store, I charged my phone to verify it was a charger issue and not a technical phone malfunction issue. Whew... the charger worked. Great customer service! Awesome attitude!! The staff is definitely taking COVID precautions seriously. They limit the number of customers in the shop. The front door is manned. Walk ins were welcomed when I was there, since there weren't that many customers at the time. Folks are spread out within the store at the different counters for social distancing. The counters have acrylic dividers separating staff and customers and sanitizing hand lotion. All staff were wearing face coverings/masks. Leaving such a high review only because of an employee, Isaiah. I went in asking about switching from AT&T to Verizon and they were having an outage but he stuck with me and gave me a print out etc. When I was ready to switch I came in and asked for him. He stuck with me through the entire process which took several hours, answering all my question and was a pure star of customer service and satisfaction. I had to go back the next day to ship a phone and we constantly ran into issues, however Isaiah took care of everything. A week later I went back to activate the shipped phone and even though he was helping/finishing up with another customer, he started working on my stuff as well. I can honestly say he's the reason I decided to stay with Verizon after all the issues we encountered trying to set this up. He knows what he's doing and he doesn't push you off because he's off the clock or he needed to move on to another guest. Highly recommend going to see him! read more

I am very disappointed with the person named Alacia at the Verizon store in natomas. I came with the simple request to change my welcome greeting on our business phone, however, she messed up our phone line so bad that our phone was not receiving calls and text messages. I called her and she fixed the calls but the text messages were not fixed. The last straw was that she completely disconnected our business phone and left us over the weekend without working phone. She promised she will work on weekends to fix it and now she ignores my messages. Do not let Alacia close to your business phone. This is disaster. Service is generally good but this space has been redesigned to sell and it's not comfortable for customers at all. All of the hard surfaces make it hard to hear. There isn't enough sound deadening material to quiet the conversations. Then there is the furniture. They swapped all of the furniture and replaced it with these hard benches designed to keep you standing and to shop. So if you're in here for a bill or tech support, you're more likely to walk out with an unplanned purchase. read more

I walked in behind a woman and a staff who was busy had to ask another staff to help that woman otherwise she would have stood there. When it was my turn, there were 3 staff left and they stood around. They saw me but made no effort to come up. Until that same staff (who was still talking to two other people) asked them to help me. The one staff reluctantly walked up. He greeted me but as I presented my questions. He answered them with an attitude. As though I should have known. Very displeased with your customer service. I came into this location today at about 2pm to pay my bill and inquire about upgrading my plan, as I walked in the door there were three associates talking and standing around at the front, I told them what services I needed and the told me that I had to use the self serve at the back.. I've never used this machine, I told the associates this, and they said it was simple and continued their conversation, the process was not straight forward, it required authentication that I did not have on hand as I've always signed in with an associate.. I attempted to ask for assistance and was ignored, ended up just leaving, absolute waste of time, terrible customer service and not at all like the rest of Verizon! this is the first time I've had such an issue, it's worth driving to the next nearest! read more

Once again, I have been screwed over by Verizon. In a previous post I talked about the difficulties I have been having between never getting the promo I came to Verizon for and my daughter service constantly being shut off even after " setting up auto pay" I now find after another shut off that auto pay can't be set up with debit card I'm being charged a deposit to get my daughter phone line on due to shut offs. I tried to prevent that I was lied to about being on autopay. I was only told about the deposit after I paid yet another shut-off and reinstatement fee, bringing the total to 252.86. That's counting the 25.00 I'm being charged to reconnect or the 20.00 for making a payment by phone. I don't trust you anymore Verizon, T MOBILE! What you want to offer me? read more

I received outstanding service from Mason, who was friendly, relaxed, knowledgeable about iPhones and accessories, tech savvy in selling me an iPhone 13 and transferring all my apps and data from my old iPhone 8, and very personable in what took close to 2 hours. The store supervisor met me as soon as I walked in and connected me with Mason once I told him what I needed. My saga was that I thought I had upgraded online but my pickup location and the sales agreement were canceled without explanation. Truly abhorrent behavior displayed from one of their in-store reps today, I believe his name was William. This kid has a serious attitude problem, he was reluctant to help with any of my inquiries, tried routing me to their 1-800 number and sending me out of the store to fix it on my own (DIY style) multiple times instead of actually helping me. He made it as apparent as he possibly could to me (through his words, actions and extremely long/loud sighs) that I was inconveniencing him (While he was on the clock, at work...? LOL.) I finally had to explain that I came in to the store for actual help with my device, if I knew all the answers and hadn't tried it on my own for hours at home, I wouldn't be there in the first place. He got sensitive and frustrated, clearly cannot handle a role in customer service... Someone else finally came over and helped me and sent him on lunch. (He clearly needed some food in his tummy, with the absolute fit he decided to throw) The second individual who helped me was respectful, kind and straight to the point. Got me the phone I needed and answered all my questions with ease. I believe these people work off of commission so my greatest hope is that the person who ACTUALLY helped me and POSITIVELY represented their employer is rewarded for their efforts and expertise shown today. Honestly, if me asking you to do your job provokes that kind of attitude and response, you are too fragile of a being for customer service or to represent this business. I looked at the reviews from recently and it seems there is a pattern of this person leaving a lot to be desired in the customer care department. Shape up, Verizon. These people are driving your customers away. We will be switching networks when my 60 days of new phone usage has ended, I only pay your prices because you still have brick and mortar locations with human reps who can troubleshoot, but after going in to your store and switching my account and being treated like this? Worst customer service! I was told the wait was 15 minutes. 45 MINUTES later I got a text message saying they were ready for my appointment. Can someone answer this for me? 11/30/20 I was online on live chat with a wonderful gal named Ariel who was helping me purchase a new phone I even changed my plan. The problem came when I tried to make payment with the link she sent me. It kept reloading finally it look like it went through... tried again looks like it went through my card company calls they declined the purchases as possible fraud so she sent me a new link kept reloading then I lost Ariel. So I got a new agent who told me I didn't qualify for the activation discount because I had to do it online... huh I am online he said no you need to do it by yourself self that makes no sense Ariel quoted me $55 pay today and the guy I don't know his don't recall him giving it to me quoted me $88 pay today. How is that, I cant have a discount because he helped me order, what kind of customer service is that? I was a little nervous coming to this place because I read the Yelp reviews and rating but took the risk. At first there was a problem with the sign in upon arrival into the store, but huge shout-out and kudos to Elizabeth for helping myself and my wife out today. I purchased a 8800L Jetpack and the prepaid unlimited data plan. The 8800L overheats and shuts off. It will not update its software. I bought it in May of 2019, so it is still under warranty. I just spent an hour at the store and: - Verizon is unable to fix the problem. - Verizon treats pre paid plan customers as second class citizens, keeping me and the store rep on long holds on the phone. - Verizon is not willing to stand behind the equipment they sell. In spite of being under warranty and having new units in stock, they are not willing to exchange my device. While I thought Xfinity/Comcast had awful customer service, Verizon has them beat. Glad my phone is on TMobile...their service and pricing is much better!! read more

I had been having issues with the audio on my phone and had come in there earlier and received little to no help with my phone problem. Second time around I had the pleasure of working with Mikayla. She took the time to not only make sure my problem was solved but also took time to solve it her self. Ordered a phone for in store pickup. Just picking up a phone. And they didn't receive and email yet confirming order. I show order number and they don't have it. So I spend my time waiting to pickup a phone. They're available waiting on me. They aren't too busy to process the order. Verizon is charging my bank account and I don't have any services with them. The only way to stop the charges is to cancel bank card. Will never do business with them again. Update: Changed rating from 1 to 2 stars thanks to Chantel, rep on their customer service line, who helped resolve the issue above. I had to call back after my refund posted to have the service totally disconnected which I feel is another flaw of Verizon. DON'T WORK WITH DARYL! I went there for a simple exchange and to purchase a screen protector. Seems simple enough - until he told me the item I was exchanging (a $40 item for another $40 item) was going to be $22 and some change. (I haven't even brought up the other item I needed to purchase yet either.) He couldn't and WOULDN'T give me a clear answer on how a $22 charge appeared to exchange an item of the same price. Since he was trying to LIE and have a used car salesmen mentality, I elected not to purchase anything new and just stick to the exchange. While waiting for a good 14 minutes for my receipt, he came from out of the back and told another customer (younger) that Verizon doesn't provide receipts to non-account having customers. Another lie, but obviously not my business. Whenever he finally returned, he said he didn't have my original receipt, said I didn't need it, and he couldn't provide an exchange receipt either and to just take the item. I've been with Verizon for years even back before it was Verizon and was Airtouch Cellular. I like my service and have never had any problems. (Knock on wood!) I'm not the "techie" type and therefore I always seem to be a step or 5 behind all the new cell phones and hype. I usually upgrade about every 2 years or so and it was that time again although I was trying to hold out longer. Umm yah. My cell had other ideas and this week decided to leave me. I really thought it was just playing dead, but no, it was gone. (Moment of silence please) What is one without their cell phone? It was my main phone and I'm textually active so my needs were pretty simple. I did some research and asked around. My brother swears by the Droid but honestly, I find it very intimidating. I walked into the Verizon store yesterday afternoon, put my name on the list and hoped for the best. A few minutes later, Alexandra called my name and inquired about my needs. I was forthright in telling her that the Droid was beyond my comprehension and she understood. It was down to 2 phones, one being a multi-media and the other a smart phone. The smart phone won. She set me up and made extra copies of the receipt and the UPC label on the box to send for my rebate. She even had the self-addressed envelope. All I had to do was put a return address on it and slap a stamp on. Very cool! I was in & out of the story in less then an hour and although I spent the rest of the night messing with my new toy, the process was pretty painless.
