I had Nate and he was very nice and did everything he could to help, but then he had to ask a gal named Maia and she took him in the back for about 10 minutes and came out with a new deal she wanted me to sign with Verizon and when I didn't want to she was very rude! I just transferred to Verizon from T-Mobile and I was struggling to get my phone number activated but the associate Alyia was able to help me in such a short time she was able to find the problem and get my phone number activated. I know transferring can be very time-consuming, but she was able to get me in and out of the store in a timely manner. I am very pleased with the service that I was provided with, and it was definitely refreshing to have an associate be patient and reassuring she is definitely someone I will always recommend people to go to and will be my go to representative. I would give it zero stars if I could. I've been with Verizon for the past 2 years and never received a discount that was promised when I switched over. My wife and I tried to verify our eligibility which I've never had an issue with before. They finally suggested I go back to the store and see if they could help me. Well they didn't even try and were extremely rude to say the least. I'm in customer service myself and would think that a simple "Sir I can't do this for you but I'm here to help. Let's take a look." Or something like that would have prevented me from switching carriers. The manager Dave I think his name is was extremely rude and dismissive. I stated that I will be looking for a new carrier when I called him out on his attitude. To which he said "go for it, we don't need you." Verizon you can do better than this individual as your store manager. Fast forward to today, I went into the store to pay off whatever is owed on our phones and was met with extreme rudeness and unprofessionalism. I stated my intention and he said "can't help you, you're not a Verizon customer." Verizon is this the reputation you want to leave with your former customers. I work close by, so I went into the store to ask a billing question. Waited 30 mins to find out that Verizon had added what looked like two additional lines. But it turns out they added the temporary lines we used to port over the numbers in order to charge us the activation fees. After this news, I was told "this is why we suggest people just call customer service". Everyone at this store is so helpful & kind! In the past few months, we needed to upgrade/trade-in phones and I had to visit the store on 3 separate occasions. Each time I was greeted warmly and helped immediately. Maia & Logan were especially helpful with transferring data between old & new phones, and very transparent about pricing. The most unprofessional, bait and switch nightmare I have ever experienced was at the Verizon at the Landing. FOUR months later, they still owe me $560. 1/21/2022 Still unresolved and told countless lies. Timeline of events: 9/12/2021 I buy an iPhone 12 Pro from sales rep VICTOR P. because he told me very clearly that my iPhone XS qualified for a $1000 trade in credit. He confirmed by checking my phone number and serial. Even explained that they are offering this to sell more 12's before the new 13 comes out the next week. I am told to bring my XS back after clearing it from iCloud 9/16/2021 I go back to the landing to return my cleared XS. rep JOHN said I only qualify for $440 trade credit. VICTOR P is not there. JOHN said he would let Victor know to call me back about the trade in credit conflict. NEVER GOT A CALL. 9/18/2021 The landing does not have a published phone number, huge hassle to spend an hour in their phone tree system. Finally reach manager ADAM. Adam said he will apply a $560 credit towards my account, split over the next two billing cycles. 12/1/2021 Still no credits applied. I spend another hour on their automated phone system and finally speak to rep TARA. She says she will let ADAM know I called and he will call me back 12/7/2021 NEVER GOT A CALL FROM ADAM. For my sanity I got TARA's direct phone number for easier communication with the Landing. I text her. No response. 12/8/2021 I text TARA again. Her response "Hello! Sorry I was off the last few days. Adam said he was gonna give u the credit this month.. he said he submitted it but has to get it approved from the dm I believe. So should be on next months bill! 1/21/2022 STILL NO $560 CREDIT APPLIED. I call and text TARA again. No response. I have lost complete faith in Verizon as a corporation and as a local neighborhood branch. The complete disregard for customer service is appalling and incredibly unprofessional. The people working there do seem nice, but they don't follow through when they say they will call customers to update them on issues that need to get resolved. After ordering twice online to pick up in store (1 order to this store and the other to Tukwila), both stores cancelled my mom's order for a phone due to "inventory errors" in their end. The problem with these cancellations are the account takes days (even though they say 24-48 hours, but we waited a few weeks in between) to reflect that the upgrade was cancelled BY THEM, and it's a long waiting game and hours of "chatting" with them before the account reflects an eligible upgrade again. After no help from calling and chatting with customer service online, we decided to pay the closest store to us a visit. The person helping seemed nice in trying to help my mom and I with a phone upgrade - I appreciated he called someone to see what was going on. Unfortunately, he got the same answers we got; to "wait." My disappointment came when the person helping us in this location said he would call me or my mom to give us an update 2 days later and to get an order going. I waited the 2 days and tried to call on the 3rd, but all that happens if I call using their number online, it goes to the automated customer service robot that directs you to chat with someone online. Again, the people in this location are nicer than others that I've been to, but if they promise a follow-up call ,they really should follow through. read more

Literally, walked in just to get a pair of headphones for an emergency situation. There is four workers. All of them are working with customers understandable but the fact that not one of them looked at to greet me and say hello tell me that they'll be with me in one moment is unacceptable. I've actually been to this Verizon numerous amount of times maybe last year or two usually, I'm always greeted usually someone always comes and asked me what I was looking for to put me on a list. I've literally seen three people look me in my face and not acknowledge me not say they'll be with me in one moment nothing of that nature. Multiple poor experiences in this store. First, a while back they screwed me over on $75 Verizon Up Device Dollars I had saved up by telling me they could be redeemed for Gizmo Watches (they can't). And once you redeem the Device Dollars no one can get them back into your account for you. More recently, the salesperson told my father in law that the iPhone SE we had just bought for his wife was a straight trade for a Samsung phone (she prefers Android, go figure). Trouble is, we got the iPhone free on their current promotion while the Samsung phone was hundreds of dollars. The salesperson should absolutely have known that and not made the false claim of it being a "straight trade" ... so we are paying $400 more than we planned to for a phone. Yuck. Bottom line: avoid this store if at all possible. read more

The five star rating is for the great service I received from Corey. My phone was stolen and he was truly empathetic. He immediately marked it as stolen; and therefore, disabled it. He was extremely patient and explained all the things that I needed to know to get my new Samsung S9 set-up. Condescension is not part of his personality. Corey is a really genuine and personable person who is truly interested in helping others. He is sincerely helpful and an exceptional asset to Verizon. Ignored, forgotten, and skipped. I walked into this store to see about an upgrade for my phone (which I was in desperate need of) and promptly ignored. I walked around on my own for 20 minutes, waiting for an employee to greet me and help me, I was making eye contact but unwilling to interrupt another's. I watched several people walk in after me and get addressed, and helped immediately. Now I'll readily admit I've been wanting to have the power to turn invisible for years, but I didn't think that power would manifest while trying to get some business done on a Monday afternoon. It's not one employee I'm singling out here, but the entire staff. I've seen 5 different employees working here, none of them acknowledged me, and two left never to be seen again! Verizon needs to get a search party started for their missing employees! Oh, and I had to write this review on my old out-dated phone because I didn't get any customer service. There is street parking right in front of the store, or you can park in the lot of the landing area.I came in to upgrade to a new phone. EXCELLENT! i was with at&t for 12 years without a problem until this year, when now every time i turn around they're fucking me over. every time they fixed something, they screwed me in another way. so after all this tremendous hassle over the last 6 months, i left. i decided it was worth whatever it costs to break my newest contract. i walked into verizon and was greeted immediately, then alex came over to help me with a new plan. i told him exactly what i wanted: 2 $99 iphones, 1GB of data on the shared plan. he didn't even bat an eye before going to the cabinet to pull out exactly what i asked for. zero up-sell, he just wanted to give me what i wanted. the location is perfect, the pricing is great, and the service was exactly what i needed to stop me from driving to tukwila to throw my old phone through the window of the at&t store. it took all of 20 minutes for our numbers to port over and i walked out happy as ever. but not before i hugged him. couldn't help myself. read more

Came here to upgrade my old phone after "years" of using the same old thing. Lol. I didn't know I had used the same phone for over 5 years!!! They have great customer service here as I was greeted right after I went inside and was asked what I needed help with. After I gave them some info about my old phone I was quickly offered a replacement phone in no time. I was very impressed by the efficiency and speed of their service. They were also able to make a quick transition from activating the new phone and even moving over my contact list from my old phone. Save me the headache of typing all those phone numbers. As usual - frustration. I received a message from Verizon that I need to go to the store to show ID for a promotion I have had for over a year. Apparently they were updating their records. OK - I can understand that - but since I am appeasing them - should I really have to wait 45 minutes? All I had to do was show my ID and I would be done. They had 3 people with IPad's running around scheduling who was next - how about 1 scheduling and the other 2 helping? When I finally get help - they say they can't take the ID - I had to show them the text that told me to go to the store - they were confused - surprise. My wife and I have been with AT&T for years, and finally took the plunge into Verizon. We were very happy with our experience here. The sales rep, Jesse, spent over an hour with us talking over various plans and phones, and making sure we were taken care of. Extra kudos to him for also being very sales-savvy. When we found out they didn't have the phone my wife wanted (iphone 4s w/ 32GB), he gently stepped aside for a couple moments to let us discuss, and was back in a flash the second we had questions. Wasted about forty minutes of my life here. I received an email from Verizon that the two years was up and I was eligible to upgrade my phone. My wife and I went in and were quickly told someone would be with us soon. It was probably twenty minutes later that someone came to help us. What followed was annoying and off-putting. The person to was assisting us didn't adequately explain the new data plan and device purchasing schema, they led me to believe that the contract pricing on devices didn't exist anymore, they kept trying to talk me into trading my phone in, and I was generally annoyed. Still, I pressed through all this and told them my wife and I would take the Galaxy S7 Edge. So they go into the back of the store after telling me they'll be right back. They then came back without the phones. They then went on to tell us that they didn't have any in stock, but they'd be happy to sell me the Galaxy S7 instead. When I told them that wasn't acceptable, they tried to talk me out of leaving by telling me that they couldn't guarantee the deal on the S7 devices (Buy one on a payment plan and get the cost of the other as a Visa gift card they'll mail you later, as far as I understood it.). All in all it felt like I was getting pressured by a used car salesman. I don't know if these guys work on commission or not, but it certainly feels like it. In any event, I called Verizon's 800 number and spoke to someone that knew what they were talking about and didn't try to pressure me into anything. I didn't upgrade anything yet, and I'm still thinking about leaving Verizon for another carrier, since they don't seem to care about taking care of their long-standing customers. I'm shaking after my experience. They didn't want to help me, were behaving in a hostile way from them beginning, and when I explained that the account holder didn't know I was trans and can't know, and that legally he can't tell them, he said "if your going to talk about legal stuff you need to leave my store" he calmed down for a second and then told me that I needed to put down my /legal/ name (he went out of his way to say this because he was hoping it would cause me problems​​​​​​​​​​​​​) and I said "hey you guys have been really hostile this whole time" he said "No we haven't" and I said "honestly yes you have, would you let me explain to you why I feel disrespected?" (He knew perfectly well, but I was trying to calm him down by using nonviolent communication) He then angrily told me to leave his store. I truly don't understand. They had started off by shaming me for using a used verizon phone instead of buying one from them. I think they genuinely enjoyed it, like I think they were being sadistic for fun. First off, they gave excellent customer service from the time my bf went in, to when I came in later on to the minutes we left. My boyfriend and I had decided to switch over to Verizon.. Which was a great idea! While I was at work, my boyfriend went in and talked to Jesse and figured out rate plans, which phones we wanted etc. So by the time I got there Jesse and his manager Jordan were of great help, knew exactly what I wanted, and glided me through the way. The transaction went smooth. Only downside was that the phone we wanted (the iPhone 4S-no surprise) was not in stock and I have to wait for it to be shipped to me. No big deal! read more

In 2014 we finally kicked Sprint to the curb. We checked out AT&T and Verizon because we have 5 people on our plan (3 in California) and Sprint service was spotty on a good day. We met Sokho (sorry if I misspelled his name) at Southcenter's Verizon store. He patiently answered ALL of our questions, was professional, knowledgeable and if he wasn't sure about something, he asked his manager. Pricing was similar to AT&T, but Sokho made our decision to go with Verizon an easy one and we have never regretted it. When Sokho moved to the Renton Landing store (on Park), we followed him there. I recently had an issue with my iPhone after a recent update, talked to Sokho, he offered options/solutions and all is well. He has greater depth of knowledge due to his tenure with the company and Verizon needs to do what they can to hang onto him. This is the only Verizon store at which I will shop. I've been shopping here since this location opened. The staff has turned over a bit in that time but there is something 'special' about the attitude of those in this store/location.... they actually seem to like their jobs and their customers. I've had some very bad experiences at other local Verizon stores (won't point fingers) from a customer service perspective, but the workers at this store are quite kind, very patient and will work to resolve whatever issue or problem you present. I never get the sense that I am being 'sold' (though they do try to remind me to upgrade, get accessories etc... which I would expect them to do...). This location is very convenient, very clean and very large. Parking is not an issue at all. Highly recommend. read more
