Stopped in to look into an upgrade and worked with Gabel who was wonderful. I decided not to go with an upgrade and left. Then changed my mind and returned to go ahead and upgrade. Gabel was leaving so Maddie stepped in to assist. Maddie was very through when going through the contract. Explained what everything was and why I needed to sign. Oh and her patience with transferring all of the data from my old phone to the new phone. She deserves a raise for that alone! Great experience at this store. read more

I was promptly greeted and taken care of with zero wait time the first and second day I visited. Visiting for work purposes and my personal iPad wouldn't charge so I went in to buy a charger thinking it was the problem and it was not. Consequently, I had to get a new iPad shipped because it was a port issue. I had insurance and there was no cost to me and the tablet came promptly the next day before 10am. Despite the nation wide outages Verizon suffered today Im still giving the staff at the Verizon in Kenosha, WI 5 stars! I waited no time and was greeted by Jenna. She was so helpful and understanding as I explained that I lost my phone and was getting no help from AT&T. She was very positive she and Verizon could help me. Although the process turned challenging, I left the store with my new phone with everything transferred from my old phone--/something that AT&T said they couldn't help me with. For I was receiving multiple Spam e-mails, I was blocking them, but I wasn't for sure if I was doing this right.Also Was having issues with my Apps. John the one who waited on me, didn't understand and told me I needed to go to my e-mail carrier. I also purchased a phone cover, not from Verizon, for they didn't carry this cover or screen protector. For I asked if he could put this cover and protector on my iPhone.He told me he was not familiar with cover, nor screen protector. I also couldn't receive text codes, Nor E-Mails. When he was on phone with Verizon, he realized that I was not able to receive texts nor emails from Corporate.Was there for a total of 11/2 hours.For when I first arrived at this location, this sales person John Tried to see me a new phone. I explained to this man, I was not there to make any purchases today, I just needed explanation on why my phone was not receiving emails nor texts. He realized I wasn't going to purchase anything so he had no interest in helping me in anyway. I will never step foot inside this location again!! Also had a Verizon tech on phone and she was not able to authenticate My service. Told me she would return my call After lunch. It was only 10:30AM. And she is supposed to call at 2:00PM 31/2 hours for lunch!! This sales person John that waited on me, was totally useless.For I'm not sure if he was a new employee. Horrible customer service and spoke down to me. I went in with questions about my bill and if it would be beneficial to change plans. Haley put in some numbers into a calculator and said what I was paying now was $140 (its over $200). I asked what the difference was and she said it's the payment on my phone (my payment is $25). I questioned it again and she said taxes. I questioned that it was $40 in taxes and she said no it's only $20. Then, of course she put more numbers in a calculator and said my charges for my account were now $160. I understand the bill is what it is. But what I don't appreciate is her attitude and her talking down to me. She was the one that kept screwing things up and changing her answer but then got an attitude with me. read more

1. I pre-ordered a Note 7, which the guy in the store sent to the wrong state. 2. I had to go back in, and swap out the Note 7 for a replacement, and they were great. 3. I had to go back in to turn in the replacement Note 7 (as those were also exploding), and they wouldn't take it back, despite a quote I showed them in the Washington Post from the Verizon CEO. Hours later, Verizon's customer service told me that what the store did was super wrong, and they should have put my safety first. 4. Verizon is a great company, I've had nothing but good luck. But, I would highly recommend you drive on down to Gurnee. Some of the employees here are great, some are idiots. 5. Some of the experiences I've had there are 4 stars...but, c'mon, you won't take back a cell phone that might explode because "it's not in the system" despite a statement from your CEO? Honestly, we thought we would end up leaving without a resolution, even possibly moving to another carrier, but because of Craig's professional manner we will be happy to continue as customers. Complete trash. They have the WORST service that I've ever experienced. I can't tell you how many times that I've spoken to the Kenosha branch manager and corporate on how to get off my plan because of how crappy it was but then they just kept trying to up sell me their low grade trash. If you value your hard earned money, don't waste it on Verizon. It's a failing company that never delivers. I even spoke on the phone with a actual full-time manager from corporate that Guaranteed me on the phone an accommodation and then told me 5 minutes later that she's not giving me it. (Mind you I was actually polite to these people the entire time). Again, don't waste your money and time, just go month to month with another company that will actually deliver at least halfway decent service. read more

Have dealt with this location many times but was given incorrect information which led to a payment being posted twice. Call center told me payment would be reversed. Nope. Nothing but wrong information and stress from Verizon. Store associate was very apologetic and am OK with his service but the call center was no help whatsoever. read more

Verizon Pleasant Prairie HWY 50 - The sales person at this store provides incorrect information regarding the rebate plan and now I can't get my full rebate. It is the sales person's responsibility to know the rebate rules, not mine. The store manager provided half of the credit after a store visit but not the entire rebate amount. At the sales person's instruction, we purchased accessories in order to qualify for the rebate. Be very careful when dealing with the sales people here. They don't know their own requirements and you get told that there was a misunderstanding. There was no misunderstanding, I was provided incorrect information from the expert sales person who should know the rebate requirements. It is difficult to be satisfied when your rebate is not full and it is implied that you misunderstood. read more

I would like to share my attitude towards this location. When I switched to Verizon I was told from the rep that I would receive my trade in credit plus the early termination fees. Turns out that is not how the promotion works. So the rep lied to me the first time I made the original sale and also the second time when I went in to submit my paperwork for the credit. After finding out 3 months later that I was denied, I called the store to let them know their employees were purposely lying to customers in order to get their commission. The manager, Steve, said that he was sorry but there was nothing he could do. I then suggested he talk to his employees and let them know to fully explain the details of the offers so they are not unaware of any unpaid expenses. While suggesting this, he decided to hang up on me. I really hope he is NOT a manager because that is no way to treat customers. Because you are being criticized, it is no reason to hang up on customers. I hope nobody falls for the scams from this store and be sure to ask as many questions as possible. And it's also a good idea to record the sales transaction or make them sign paperwork of your own. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS LOCATION. read more

So very impressed today by Verizon. Katie was more than helpful after herself and the manager tried to fix my phone after a black screen, and not a fixed phone they both sent me to another location in the area that fixes phones with no luck with them either. Upon returning to Verizon for trip 2 of the day with broken iPhone in hand she explained what my options were, but then was really honest to let me know about a retailer that sells used phones. Well i went and purchased a used phone and brought it back to Verizon where once again katie was amazing at switching cards over in the process somehow made my phone work! Thank the lord! But otherwise I was blown away by her down to earth personality and the team at Verizon today! THANKS AGAIN GUYS!! Off to return the used phone! read more
