Had an excellent experience at this Verizon store. Everyone was welcoming right when I walked in, and the staff was knowledgeable without being pushy. They helped me upgrade my phone, explained the plan options clearly, and made sure everything was transferred before I left. I also want to mention this because there seems to be some confusion floating around online: this store is definitely OPEN. A few people told me they thought it had closed, but that is completely incorrect. The store is open and the team is there helping customers every day. The second I walked into to this place I had a bad feeling thejr tone is immediately condesc I had completed my upgrade online went there strictly to pick up phone no money had to be exchanged they procceded to tell me THE NATIONWIDE SYSTEM WAS DOWN and in to order to process they had to cancel my current transaction and re run it in their system they then casually told me I was going to owe almost $300!!! then acted offended when I questioned them I went there to pick up my phone I had the receipt for the $35 fee I had billed to my account the amount of cons they tried to pull ina short time was almost impressive it's just unfortunate theyre clearly not very smart they were just disregarding the official contradt I had from the Verizon website at one point they tried to tell me I still owed $1300 on my iPhone 12 that is paid off and I was upgrading from they tried to almost double my monthly payments all things they had no business even looking at I was there to pick up my phone and leave they then tried to tell me I could get $859 trade in value for my broken 12 that I knew I was getting $126 for they were leaving it the part that getting that deal would income them changing my plan entirely I eventually left and went to an official Verizon corporate store where I had to speak to the fraud dept because account had been flagged because of what they attempted there annoying wrong with the system at the store in Avon I picked up my phone and left no money excbamged these people are borderline criminals they should be investigated because who knows what else They do to unsuspecting people i felt uncomfortable that they had access to my account this was a ridiculous and unnerving experience to have a company like Verizon it felt like I was dealing with Street dealers w stolen products trying to take advantags of me read more

Yes, I feel the same about this place. Bad service. They should care being the only corporate store in BERKSHIRE COUNTY. Very rude people and it's like you're taking up their time and they stand around doing nothing and what are they there for? I went to Verizon on Sunday 12/29 to get a new phone. I wasnt able to and was told to come back today Monday 12/30 to get one (it's a business account and I needed the owner of the account which is fine) I was finally able to find time with the account owner to get the phone. We called and checked online to make sure the store was open. We left work, drove across town in an ice storm to find out the store is closed. Online it says the hours are 9-9 yet it's barley past 8 and the store is closed. For a wireless store I'm pretty sure they should be able to properly use technology and update the correct store hours. Don't waste your time with this location read more

After purchasing a $60 refill card my phone somehow was removed from the Verizon account with my name so my phone was not receiving calls or text. I was working so I asked my fiancée to go to Verizon and see what had happened. I would assume the employees there would be able to see my account was removed and be more helpful, instead they blamed Apple (iphone6s) and said to buy a new phone. Terrible service. Three employees standing around and we wait for 15 minutes to merely exchange chargers that the manager gave us incorrectly in the first place. When asked if we can be assisted he rudely stated that the person he had been chatting with for 5 minutes would be with us shortly. First off I want to give a shout out to Shaun for being so helpful! He really made my day and was the only reason I walked out of there with a new phone. However when I first went in there, rob/ron (I think was his name) could not have been anymore disrespectful and useless and completely incompetent. He was unable to help me and kept trying to get me to re up a two year contract instead of letting me transfer phones. He said he couldn't help me and that he was sorry but he couldn't let me transfer the phone. Then he said I needed to have the authorized user come into the store and I explained he is living in a whole other state (CA) and he said well he needs to be here in person. If I could give zero stars - I would. This place has HORRIBLE customer service. Since I bought my new phone there in mid June, I have had numerous dropped calls, long silences (yes, just like their TV Commercial!). No one can hear me when I call them and vice versa. Its embarrassing. And yet when I call I get the run around. They won't give me a new device, They only want to sell you some type of service extender or something else. They will not remedy the problem. I even emailed my salesperson back in the area of where I moved from, and she was horrified at what I was going thru. Avoid this place like the plague. All of the Verizon employees need to be reviewed by upper management. I don't think Verizon knows what is going on there, I showed up and they were quick to come sign me into their system (joke) and then I sat there watching 15 other people walking around with very frustrated at looking at products they don't even care about. It only took me 5 minutes to realize that there was only one employee actually helping customers while the three other Verizon employees were only there to put you into their system??. Or should they have been helping? I hope I get a call from someone. I just got up and left. I have plenty of Verizon stores in my area. I would not come here again. I first went into this location to speak with someone about the issues I'd been having with my Samsung Galaxy. The screen gets locked up and freezes just from texting and there were other glitches as well. I worked with an individual from the store, who wasn't professional or apologizing on behalf of Verizon or showing any kind of understanding with having this problem. After about 20minutes of him troubleshooting my phone, he nonchalantly said that if I want my phone to be fixed, the only option is to leave it there for two hours to reset (which didn't guarantee it would even work). I told him this was hard for me and that it is an inconvenience for me, since he didn't seem to care that I had an issue with this phone. He defensively and with an attitude replied "Well I am doing the best that I can." I understood that he was, but he was unprofessional and that is why I mentioned the inconvenience from the start. The manager Dooley said that all my data would be erased unless I went home to save my information on my computer. I said that I cannot do that. Instead of being understanding, he had an attitude and replied: "You don't have a computer at home?" I shouldn't have had to explain to him that my computer is not new enough to do this sort of transfer, but unfortunately I did. They put my information into a cloud, which I don't know why they couldn't have done that to begin with. ...Since I did not have too much data on my phone, they said that it will only take an hour. So I returned 1 hr later and the representative that was initially helping was on his break, even though they were expecting me. The other store associates had to figure out what was going on. Again no professionalism or apologies for the inconvenience. Last, an associate returned with my phone and he was actually nice and helpful. Meanwhile, the original manager was present and he saw that I had returned. No check-in with me on the issue of my phone, or apologies. He did not even acknowledge me and he was just walking around, commenting about the weather to another employee (not like he was busy). A day later I still had problems with my phone so I called the Pittsfield store to notify them of this. I asked to speak with a manager. Manager Josh answered. I explained to him the situation and how I have been having this issue with my phone for months and that I brought it into the store the day earlier and they reset it. I told him that I was still having issues and he said nothing...silence...."Okay what would you like me to do for you?" ...and I said "I don't know, you tell me what you can do for me." Important to mention that I always aim to be kind to those that are helping me. All I wanted from these people was some professionalism and helpfulness. Josh explained that I can come in and sign something to have my phone replaced by mail. No kindness....no apologies. He was just facts and very cold. This store was a huge disappointment for me. Worse service ever! The staff is very unhelpful, arrogant, pompous and not warm at all. Completely no customer service etiquette at all! A month ago I had a staff member belittle me in front of a room full of customers when I asked a question I did not understand. I went back in again thinking it was the only place to upgrade. After spending over an hour they tell me I was not eligible for the upgrade and had to buy a new phone or wait til the contract expired because they said they did not like something they saw with the phone. They could have cared less and it was apparent they were looking for me to purchase a new phone outright. I walked out and went to BJs. In 30 minutes I was in a new phone and could not have been treated better. I came to work and mentioned it and two others felt the same way. I have two friends heading out today to go to BJs.
