On top of that they told me the office would call with quotes for different options on how to fix complaining it was a bad construction. Really? I live in a condo with 40 units and have been here for 9 years while the unit is probably 12 years old. I don't think there is bad construction considering this is my first ever problem! The office never called with another quote even after I reached out. Terrible non responsive people

I know probably not the norm to expect service within a week of calling. I actually expected to wait much longer. They were able to fix my door on the same day of the service evaluation. I even requested quotes for door replacement, which I don't need right now, but I intend to upgrade my house and the quotes were very reasonable much to my surprise. I absolutely recommend Overhead Door Company of Pittsfield without hesitation. Nicole P

Jeff from City Locksmith has got it covered…read more He was cool and easy to coordinate with over the phone, and he showed up on time. Once at our house, he installed the keypad lock we talked about, and helped rekey a bunch of locks around the house so we only had to deal with one key, instead of many (you can do this!). He was also just generally super nice and helpful and happy to work around my kids and my mom. He was efficient (in and out in about an hour), and the work seems like exactly what we wanted, and nothing we didn't. I don't have a ton of experience with how much these things should cost, but I do know that he did a great job and saved us a huge hassle with all the work he did. I don't know what else you could really want from a locksmith. Thanks Jeff!

He restored several mortise locks in our 1907 home which had not been working properly in over 40 years. During that time no locksmith was able to help nor even want to tackle a lock that wasn't new. For decades we had Jerry-rigged multiple workarounds and he fixed all of the four locks in 2 hours. When he discovered that to make one lock work even better, he would have to go back to his shop and return the next day with the proper tiny part, that's precisely what he did. He arrived when he said he would, was cheerful and professional. And the cost for this service was more than fair. One word to the wise: If you have to go to his bricks and mortar location for any reason, follow your GPS faithfully. His store is tucked behind City Glass and there is no sign out front of that building advertising City Locksmith.
