After about 4 minutes an new recording come on and said they have high call volume and couldn't help me and then disconnected. I did this 3 times and got the same results. On the fourth time I got into a que that said the rep would use dual authentication when the came on the line. I got that message 5 or 6 times but no rep came on. After being on hold for one hour, my home security system notified me the internet was back up. Never did get to speak to anyone. No option to speak with a person was presented. Tomorrow I will start looking into alternatives to Consolidated Communications. I would not even give my experience one star but zero stars was not an option.

We ended up calling them again and changing our plan back to the original one. Recently, I needed to have XFINITY mark the locations of their wires in my yard prior to a digging project. An XFINITY employee arrived on time and accurately marked the locations of the wires.

I got home at 4:12 from the hospital 3: no way to contact tech directly, everything is through AI bots and the only options are to reschedule your appointment when they notify you your tech has arrived 4: tech support is non existent. rep repeatedly muted himself during conversation unannounced for 5+ minutes. Provided very little coherent advice, then pitched Xfinity mobile ;(

The turnaround time is fast and the prices are more than fair. A few years back, I was renting some gear to a well-known touring band. One of the amps, a solid state one chosen by the rhythm guitarist, needed some serious work. It just wouldn't start up! I took it to Don @ Phil's and had it back 3 days and less than $50 later. I was so impressed, I took another amp, a 4x10 Fender tube amp, in to get the speakers looked at. They were shot. Don was going to re-cone them...but called me later with a surprise. He came across a new-in-box set of original replacements. Parts and labor? $200. That's nothing for a job like this! I've since taken a few amps there. Need an organ fixed? He can do that too. A friend had a Hammond C3 redone there. Cool old TV or Hi Fi or antique radio? He can fix those. Need that impossible to find vintage tube or capacitor? Chances are he has it...possibly a box of them. Its like stepping back to the mid 60s walking in there. Its not flashy at all. Just lots of shelves with tubes and stuff. Tube testers. Stacks of projects lined up. It's a gear-head's dream in there. This place is the real deal and best of all, Don is as honest as they come. His prices are unbelievably fair. He's also a musician and a really interesting guy to talk to. Every time I stop in, I lose at least an hour or more. If you need the work done...go to Phil's. You can tell him I sent you but you don't have to. You'll be glad you went there!

He told me they do not take returns except when you first call verizon an get a return authorization. Ok so no=w I am pissed spent 20 minutes at first store then another 30 minutes at this store only to have to go outside and spend almost 90 minutes not he phone waiting for a verizon rep. Finally I got someone to talk to and they accepted the return and gave me a return number which I then brought back into the store. The rep in the store filed the info and took the return info and took the equipment. overall terrible experience. The store itself is tiny and is geared mostly to phone sales. I am not sure how to rate this transaction.?????? The store reps where nice and friendly. The store clerks were in a bad spot as well as Verizon makes it so difficult to do returns on equipment. I would say I give the store reps 4 stars but 1 star for Verizon so I am thinking 2 stars is plenty.

They also signed me up for a $25/month charge for a "home device protection plan" that I never was informed of and I don't have any home devices from Verizon. I would avoid this store at all costs. Thankful for the Verizon Customer Service rep that found each of these things and saved me over $90/month from what this store set me up for.

He was very patient and helped us understand what the issue probably is. Even after a factory reset, the problem persisted. Based on this experience, I don't think I would consider going anywhere else.
