The first tech had to leave at 1:30 so the second tech took over the process of restoring my phone. Fixed the issues and made sure I was comfortable with the progress before leaving the store. Great people working here. It was very busy the entire time I was there.

For my instance, I got there a few minutes early and it was near 30 minutes before the person helped me. The most frustrating (hence, one start reduction) is there are tons of employees roaming around "selling" while they have only a few folks at the Genius Bar helping people out. All that said, they did restore my iPhone with a fresh install of iOS 26.5, I hooked to their WiFi and started downloading apps. I did prioritize a few apps I was having problems with and verified one of those before leaving. At home the download of the apps was much faster and my issues were resolved.

I was initially disappointed because the first person we talked to just typed on the iPad for a while with very little interaction. However when she asked the other senior staff a question they were quick to jump in and help out. The lead Tech went out of his way to explain the process of unlocking phones and porting numbers in a simple manner that made sense and repeated it when we forgot something. I'd come back again to this store if I had any problems. They were COVID conscious and everything was in line with state guidelines on that front.
