Subject: Poor Customer Service Experience at Parkside Location If I could give this experience negative stars, I would. I recently worked with Justin M. at the Countryside Mall Verizon through a third-party. Justin's system wasn't working, and he told me I could visit any Verizon store to complete my iPhone 13 trade-in. I followed his instructions and went to the Parkside location, where I was initially greeted kindly by a representative named Anthony. However, during our conversation, another employee named Chris rudely interrupted and asked what I was there for. When I explained, he immediately told me he couldn't help because I worked through a third-party, and that I'd need to go elsewhere. I later called two other Verizon locations and spoke to two different representatives -- both confirmed that any Verizon store should be able to process a trade-in, regardless of third-party involvement. This interaction was not only unhelpful but also disrespectful. What should have been a simple 5-minute trade-in turned into a frustrating 2-hour ordeal. Thankfully, I eventually spoke with Savannah at the 8700 Fourth St N, Saint Petersburg, FL 33702 location, who provided outstanding service. She went above and beyond by calling both Countryside Mall and the Parkside store on my behalf. While she tried to resolve the issue professionally, Chris continued to make excuses and showed no accountability for his behavior. Chris was unapologetic and indifferent to the inconvenience he caused. I can only hope Verizon takes this feedback seriously and ensures that representatives like Savannah are recognized for their excellence -- and that others receive proper training in customer service and professionalism. read more

I was at the store today to buy a new phone and I had the worse customer service I have ever had. When I entered the store at 5 PM the local store was empty , there were no costumers and there were three staff at the store. One came to me asking how can he help me so I explained that I would like to buy a phone, then he asked me if I have an appointment and I said "no", the store was completely empty with zero costumers. This is unreal that Verizon pay their staff to do nothing. He was like I'm not going to attend you because you don't have an appointment it doesn't matter if we don't have anybody at the store. What a wonderful experience at this store yesterday! We were greeted by a male, friendly associate when we entered, signed in right away, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. We waited about 15 minutes and during that time we used the facilities and browsed phones and tablets. Everyone working (all 4 associates I came in contact with) were friendly. I was helped by Gabby who walked me through buying a new IPad for my mom and setting everything up for her. The other associate Kali, was also very helpful. Overall a 5 star rating for this Verizon store. I recently had a very bad experience with the St Petersburg store, I will never go there AGAIN! Horrible customer serviFrom now on it's the Pinellas Park location for all my Verizon needs. Sincerely, a loyal Verizon customer since 1996. **Returned today to upgrade me mom's phone. Wasn't happy at all with the service I received from "Su" a young man working there that wasn't there during my first good experience back in June. I walked out and didn't know the phone wasn't even activated. Had to call Verizon customer service to get it activated. Not cool at all. Don't waste your time going here. Will leave beyond frustrated and ready to switch carriers. Call the corporate number and they are way more friendly and capable of actually doing things to help you. I have to say that Nicole and Wes were absolutely amazing! Nicole was personable and upsold us but wasn't aggressively pushy about it, she just wanted to be sure we knew our options! If I could give zero stars I would !!! 2 days waiting for my tech ... they said I cancelled the appointments . I have a strong feeling the tech was just too lazy to park and come upstairs . Going on 2 weeks with no service . I am a full time online student and working single mother that has given up 2 shifts at work and has to leave to my home for school ,as I have no internet . Nicely laid out store. Very busy the day I came in. A Verizon employee came and checked me in and said it would be about 10-15 minutes until my turn. I just needed to swap out my SIM card. A guy came over during the 10-15 minutes I had to wait. Took my phone and swapped out the SIM card and made sure I had 4G before I left. He also answered some other questions I had. Fast, friendly, and efficient. I've been in this store once before and the Verizon employee who was helping me was awesome. My data signal is great now! I had been with Verizon for 18 years! About 3 months ago Spectrum convinced me to switch to them for my cellular service claiming they used the same network as Verizon but half the cost. I had a lot of problems with my phone connection using Spectrum and I finally decided to go back to Verizon. When I got to the store I was frustrated and I was met by the store manager at Verizon (Kevon). He was super nice and helpful. He helped me understand why I was having trouble with Spectrum. Spectrum does rent the Verizon network but the bandwidth for Spectrum is 1/4 as they don't get as strong of signal since it's NOT their service. What Kevon explained to me made perfect sense and explained why I was having trouble with my cellular connection while I was with Spectrum. You get what you pay for and I will never switch again!! Verizon is the BEST cell phone companies. Don't listen to Spectrum lies and waste your time with them!!! Thank you very much Kevon at Verizon!! Oh!.... Verizon gave me a $500 bonus for coming back to them that Me or Kevon had no idea I was going to get! Thank you VERIZON!!! read more

I'm not finding this place at all.... I called and asked the location as I had driven pass the location t should've been which on the map showed after the Toyota dealership on the left. The girl said, "it's on the neighborhood market Walmart", my response, "the small Walmart on 66th?" "Yes.". So we drive out there and No Verizon. After having rude customer from the Verizon in Tyrone Square area we went to see Mario here. He was excellent!! Friendly professional and answered all our questions. We added a new phone to our plan and we're done in about 20 minutes. Highly recommend this location for their wonderful staff and stellar customer service. read more

I came here on a Saturday for a phone trade in. The associate helping me couldn't get the "find my iPhone" feature turned off and blamed it on apple servers but it was actually a bad Verizon signal and she didn't even attempt it over wifi. She told me to come back when I get it turned off, which I did as soon as I got home and connected to the Wi-Fi. I came back the next day to get the trade in registered but they were closed, schedule on the door said they were open. So I decided to come in on my next day off work... closed again. This time a revised schedule on a calendar showing they are closed every weekend for the next month. Surprising considering most adults work full time jobs and don't have time to take off work. I've been a Verizon customer for almost a decade now and this is the worst I've had to deal with, tried another store nearby but they were a 3rd party retailer and said it would be best if I went to the official Verizon store to get this resolved.
