I dropped my phone & went to the store for help on 2/12/23. The young lady was not able to help the gentleman before me (he had purchased his device there a few days ago) & spent time her own personal phone. He actually asked her to put it down. She didn't really want to help me & accused me of messing up my phone again! I explained I hadn't had it happen before. She finally did help me but it was difficult for her to do that because of her beautiful nails (that were too long & prevented her from working) I will return but not when she is the only one working. I was in the store in March, ALL employees were very unprofessional. I was promised several promotions that were not in fact true. On top of that my order was cancelled after being placed. I spoke to the regional manager who tried to make it right, by speaking to me, not actually issuing credits or fixing the issue because I had to spend hours on the phone proving my identity and reordering devices so I had to do it myself. Paying several hundred dollars more than originally planned. Fast forward to my bill still being incorrect, and Lawerence saying "all this over $23 dollars" Obviously the behavior has not been fixed, and this is not over that much money, just the final straw with your store being uneducated in your own promotions and products not to mention your customer service is terrible. read more

So frustrated with this place. This is NOT a Verizon store, but a third party dealer. I went there because I wanted to deal with humans rather than order phones online, but after being intentionally misled several times about promos, deals and prices I think I'll just order through Verizon online next time. If you buy phones or plans here, make sure you get the deal in writing, and ask for specifics. Even then, you need to know all the right questions to ask; they won't offer any help saving money. For example, I ordered a new iPhone and was told I would get an $800 off promo when I traded in my old phone. When my phone arrived several days later, they only offered me $400 off unless I upgraded my plan to the most expensive one. None of this was mentioned when I ordered the phone of course, and I didn't know to ask. This same situation had happened twice already, always with an, "I never said that..." from the sales associate. As for attitude, they were kind and respectful for the most part. However in my cumulative 10 hours spent in store this month, I heard lots of associates arguing and bragging about their commissions, complaining about other associates and badmouthing their boss and other customers behind their backs. I can only imagine what they had to say about me after I kept questioning them on why I wasn't getting the prices they quoted me. Buying my last used car was quicker, easier, more straightforward and way more honest than setting my family up with new phones. Save yourself some pain and time, just drive to the actual Verizon store for n Chico or order online. read more

Hello oroville, We are very upset at the situation that occurred yesterday 16 June 2021, a sales person (Juan) allowing a 16 year old boy access to parents account to upgrade a Iphone 8 to a Iphone 12 Max. Boy who is not in the account and did NOT have parents consent, selling the 16 year old child a Iphone 12 and doing modification to the parents account without parents approving it is a crime. Salesperson Juan stated that we cannot return the phone which we found out are incorrect information. We have spoken to verizon and we can. If the old phone is not returned back to us today 17 June 2021, we will report Victra to the BBB and Verizon, the salesperson should be reprimanded and terminated for being incompetent and lacking on skills (not following work procedures to verify with the member if they were able to make modifications to the account. This is highly unacceptable and Victra should take action. It's scary and very upsetting how associates are allowing minors that are not in the account to upgrade without parents knowledge and approval. Kids are stupid and they will do stupid things but allowing them access without proper approval is a crime. the boy was able to walk out with a $1000+ Iphone 12 max and parents account was charged and modified WITHOUT parents knowing till after fact. Juan was the salesperson and we are very upset at him he needs to be reprimanded. Larry is the manager I hope he will make it better when we come in this afternoon. This is very shady business that Victra is doing in the Oroville verizon store. We will wait for the outcome/results on our visit today. Worst experience ever! Lied to over & over! 3 dsys in a row AND after bills came months later!! Overcharged and deceitful lractices!! They should NOT be representing Verizon! They are crooks! We were charged WAY more than agreed to. 1 yr later I'm STILL trying to get proper phone promotions at 709. a phone times 4 phones & accessories! Lost ALL my important legal texts I needed! Took our old phones which Verizon store would NOT have done, so no recovery available. Did NOT charge correctly our accounts. That's FRAUD! Rachel did a fantastic job with her customer service in helping me with my new phone and hot spot, she did everything for me and went far above and beyond her responsibilitys to make sure, not only that I was satisfied with my purchases but making sure I understood the phone, and even came out to my car to help me with connecting the blue tooth. Horrible customer service in store and over the phone. I would rather make the drive to Chico than coming here. They are a lot nicer and more helpful in the Chico store. The workers here are rude. Not just me, but family members and friends always say they have a bad experience whenever coming to this store. Going into the store, the workers seemed lazy and talked rudely. I had a question and called them over the phone but before I couldn't even finish my question, the lady who I was on the phone with didn't even let me finish asking my question and I guess she assumed she already knew what I was asking but her answer had nothing to do with my question. read more

I purchased a phone at this store several months ago. At the time I was advised by a salesperson that 2 of my other phones would be obsolete once 5g came out so It was recommended that I upgrade those two phones as well. Needless to say I followed their recommendation and did so. The store manager was listening as this was going on. Well next bill I received from Verizon was SO WRONG so I contacted the 800 number at Verizon and explained my story. I was told by their representative that it wAs not necessary to upgrade the two phones as I was told at Victra as they would have been grandfathered in but it was too late to return them. The Verizon rep attempted to contact the Mgr at the store who would not return their calls so Verizon talked to the assistant Mgr. She relayed that the salesperson quit who had helped me. Long story short, the Mgr said "sorry" when I went there in person in a very condescending tone but offered nothing to attempt to resolve the problems caused. I am sure the store got their commission though! Verizon itself has to resolve the issues and take the loss after offering me some credit on my bill. Verizon reps at 800# were great and very helpful! I can GUARANTEE you I will never do business with another Victra store after this experience. I will go to Chico next time. My brother also had a bad experience with Victra. read more
