I had an awful experience at this Verizon store. Four months ago, I purchased new phones under a promotion that clearly stated free devices with no trade-in required. The promotion never applied to my account, so I went back to the store last month to have it fixed. Instead of resolving the issue, they incorrectly applied a completely different promotion that required a trade-in, which caused an extra $366 to be added to my bill. When I returned to the store to get this sorted out, the staff showed no interest in helping me. They would not take the time to investigate why these unexpected charges appeared and instead talked down to me, trying to confuse me and wear me down until I gave up and left. The manager, Quay, was especially dismissive. Rather than fixing the problem, he tried to convince me that the incorrect charges were valid, even though they were clearly the result of their mistake. It is clear to me that they misrepresented promotions to earn my business and later did everything they could to avoid taking responsibility. Ironically, when I called Verizon's customer service line, the issue was resolved in five minutes, something the store could have easily done if they actually cared. If you value honesty and good customer service, avoid this location at all costs. read more

sales person was not attentive or personable and forced an extra phone line on me I did not ask for by LYING about the new line being free of charge due to it being on an old device. look at my bill later and the price went up an extra 50 dollars plus taxes and fees now I have to go through a whole thing with Verizon to get the phone line taken off which I am still in the middle of. read more

We had been having a problem trying to sign on to our Xfinity mobile account. It kept telling us there was an error and to try again later. We decided after many tries to go into the store in Bellevue. Tyler greeted us and started listening to our issues we had been charged almost $400 for one month when our service is normally $149 per month. There had been data charges that were not common for our usage. We were disputing those charges and just wanted to view the bill. We were told that we could not see the charges and for what dates they were we were also told that we would have to call billing to take care of the issue. We also wanted to change the payment source as our debit card had had fraudulent activity and we had to replace it. They could also not take care of that in the store. Someone named Hal came when Tyler went to get information he kept telling us to call 1- 800 Xfinity we explained that we had and could never get anyone human to help us with our issue. Another employee said say no service and you'll get someone how continue to mudder call 1-800 Xfinity. He was extremely rude and just wanted us to leave because he said that he could not help us there. I am currently looking for a new cell service although I have been a Comcast customer for years it's a shame you can't get any customer service when you take the time out of your day to visit a store because you cannot get help online nor with their one 800 number What has customer service become? read more

The low rating of this store is completely congruent with my experience today. There is a shocking disconnect between the management and the fact that they are in customer service. Verizon is a large corporation, and there should be visibility and transparency between the different internal entities. This store ethos is to make zero effort to try and connect dots that are outside of their normal working parameters. Verizon sent me to this store to turn a phone in, and the staff literally told me it wasn't possible. (They didn't know how) I even handed the phone to the female manager with the Verizon supervisor on the line to explain it, and she refused to even spend 30 seconds with him to learn how. The other representative I spoke with was the same way. It didn't meat their normal mode of operation so he literally shut down, you could see the sparks and the smoke as his circuit board blew. Thieves is all they are! My family went in to upgrade phones on our family plan. 2 of 4 phones were getting upgraded with the other 2 not being touched. Someone at Verizon added Hot Spots to the phones not being upgraded at $10/mo extra, WITHOUT authorization, approval or a request. No surprised since when I upgraded a year ago, they added a "free iPad" that cost an extra $15/mo. They conveniently forget to explain the monthly extra cost for that "free" iPad. Then they explain your bill will be MESSED UP for 3 months and like double the actual cost but by the 4th month, they will figure out how to actually bill you appropriately. Verizon are a bunch of thieves who add secret costs then hope you forget until the 4th month when you bill is correct. Scam artists. read more

I went into Verizon store at Nippers Corner. When the sales person greeted me, I told him that I did not want to be locked in to a payment that would drag out over a period of 36 months. He verbalized understanding. I explained my need was to get a better understanding of the Ssmsung tablet that I already owned. He explained to me how inadequate and out dated my tablet was and went to get other ones to show me. I told him I had gotten it as a gift in 2023....he insisted it was too old and had not been updated. The particular one he showed me was discounted $150. Since I trusted his judgement regarding my tablet, I decided on the discounted one. After all the sales talk he had given me, I trusted him but again told him of my decision to not have a payment plan and would pay for the new one outright. As we ended the sale and he had given me the final price to be paid at the register, he said " and you have 36 months to pay for it. That meant to me that the $150 that he told me was discounted, had been tacted on to the back end of the sale. I reminded him of my initial request of not wanting payments. In that process he was speaking loudly and spoke at the same time that I was trying to. This gained the other reps attention....I then walked out of the store. This was a very disappointing experience to the.point that I no longer trust services provided by Verizon and will discontinue doing business with them as he was not trustworthy and was very inconsiderate of my request not to have a 36 month drag on of a bill. Brittney, the assistant manager, spent attentive time with me while juggling a busy show floor seamlessly. Not only did I get help and answers for all my needs I also bought a new wireless speaker to enjoy tunes while doing around the house. My wait was definitely worth the help I received. read more

Verizon is a complete scam. We switched carriers from AT&T, and have had to go into the store three times to have our issues resolved. When we first signed up, they offered a $500 rebate for trading in an old iPhone and purchasing the new iPhone 14 Pro Max, and $200 for each line you switch over to Verizon. We have two phones so we are expecting $900 in rebates altogether, yet they don't tell you all the hoops you have to jump through to get them. The second time we went to the store, we wanted to have an employee show us EXACTLY how to submit the rebate requests to ensure we received all the promotions we had signed up for. The first girl who helped us was young and didn't know much, albeit condescending. She said "I've worked here for 2 years and never have I heard of any offers like that." I showed her a flyer and a letter with this promotion and she STILL denied that they offered anything like that. She went and got a manager (Dan), who confirmed that these promotions were valid and that we were within the 30-day time period to submit the rebate request; he took care of us and showed us step-by-step how to submit the requests, which we took screenshots of the confirmations. We then received an email a week later saying one of the submissions was invalid. We went back to the store for a third time, and tried to explain to one of the representatives (the girl with the long blonde hair and glasses who claimed to be a manager) two issues that needed to be addressed. 1) Rebates - She didn't know anything about their promotions, yet was also very condescending and looked at us like we were crazy. She said, "There's no way you would receive a $500 trade-in rebate + two $200 rebates + and an $11 credit to our account over the course of 36 months. That's almost 2 grand. That's crazy." When I told her Dan helped us submit these and he confirmed that this was correct, she said "Well he was wrong. I don't know why he would tell you that." I told her I have letters and flyers from Verizon promoting these rebates as well, and she insisted that the monthly $11 credit to our account was the trade-in rebate, but according to basic math that doesn't add up to $500, AND Dan confirmed previously that this was a different credit NOT related to the rebate. She also insisted that if we received an "invalid" message regarding one of the rebates, it's because we must have submitted it after the 30 days without even looking into it further. She also had the audacity to say that it's our responsibility to know what to do regarding rebates and that we would need to contact customer service, because the stores are not responsible at all. Clearly, some of your in-store "management" doesn't even know what promotions Verizon is offering so that's why they transfer the responsibility to the customer. Well that's convenient, isn't it? They have no problem marketing/pushing these promos, yet they don't know anything about it themselves. And to call customer service to get it resolved? They are even more incompetent than the in-store representatives. All they do is bounce you around from one representative to the next. It's a joke. 2) Accessing Hulu, Disney, ESPN, etc. - We wanted to make sure we were able to access it then and there at the store. The gal said "It's easy, you just log in with your username and password." Lol. So we did, and it kept prompting us to add a payment method. She said to add it, but don't worry we won't be charged. Sure enough my credit card was charged $6, and for 20 mins she couldn't figure out why. She said she would credit my Verizon account the $6, but actually ended up adding a balance of $6 to my account. She had to ask another representative as to why we didn't have access, and apparently someone put us on the wrong plan from the get go, which is why Hulu kept prompting us for a payment. Funny how they say it's easy to access these benefits, yet they can't even figure it out themselves. In the end, Seth resolved the rebate situation by contacting customer service on our behalf and gave us tracking numbers to confirm that they all went through, as well as made sure we were able to access all the benefits associated with our plan. Y'all need to re-train some of your staff. For two hours this girl wasted my time, which we THINK Seth was able to resolve in less than 20 mins, but we'll see if we receive any of these rebates. She had an attitude from the get go, only wanted to argue, and did nothing to help us. I've never had such a horrible customer service experience in my life, and am dumbfounded by the level of incompetence of Verizon employees. I am absolutely livid and am disgusted by Verizon's gaslighting tactics, and how associates talk all this "plan jibberish" to confuse you. There is a clear disconnect between Verizon corporate, the store associates and the customer service call center. Clearly no one is on the same page, and all they do is transfer responsibility. The employees here are so kind and helpful! I had a negative experience at a different Verizon location on 8th ave where they shipped my new phone to the incorrect address and told me they couldn't adjust or cancel the order. They told me that I had to wait until the package was returned to the sender before I could reorder my device to the correct address, and they were indifferent about trying to help me. I came to this location the next day and Ryan went above and beyond to resolve the situation. He was both professional and knowledgeable. I would have been stuck traveling without a working device if not for his kindness and problem solving! This is definitely the best Verizon location in Nashville and I'll be returning here for any future purchases. read more

I'm not sure if I lucked out and kept going at off times or what, but both of my visits here in the same week were solid! I waited maybe 5 minutes for a representative to assist me, and they were helpful and quick! Unfortunately the phone I wanted was out of stock, so they had to ship it to me and then I had to bring it back later in the week to get my contacts transferred over. Bummer. But, they were great and even downloaded an app that stored my 1,000 or so pictures from my old phone. Sadly, you loose texts with a new phone. Overall, a great location! read more

Sucks. I've been trying to activate a pre-paid phone I received in trade. Tried doing it online. No luck. Called Verizon Customer Service from a land line. Nope. Was told the SIM was bad and I would need to bring the phone to the Nashville Verizon store, which is 60 miles away from my house. In Nashville today on other business, so I stopped in. They put in a new SIM, but didn't tell me the phone number, which I need to activate the phone. read more

It would have been good to know the Disney bundle does not include local TV on Hulu and it cost $69 more dollars to add that Hulu plan. The 5G internet works well in testing but if I am going to have to keep Xfinity to watch any local TV it might not make sense to stick with 5G internet. Still deciding. read more

Stopped in looking for a replacement battery for the better half of the Yelp Couple's Droid. The staff were in holiday mode and greeted us with the requisite enthusiasm. When I asked for the battery there was some confusion about the price, but in the end it was even cheaper than they had original told me, which was already less than full retail. Being that this is already the Verizon store I think of when thinking of Verizon stores, they are likely to continue to get my business. read more

I'm giving a 1 star cause I had bought an iPad Pro and didn't want to sign a contract but they talked me into it and I told them I would as long as it stop at 2 gig and the sells rep says yea. Guess what it went a little over 2 gig and my bill goes up $15 extra. So I go up their to straight it out and they say you have you go to another plan which cost $5 more!!!!! What a rip off. I had everybody tell me that Verizon does that stupid stuff so now I know and have learned my lesson! The friendly, laid-back, and helpful staff at this store gets five stars from me. I went in about an hour before the store closed to get my dumbphone upgraded. Almost all the staff members were busy helping other customers, so I had to wait a bit before I was helped. Because of that and other logistical things (getting account ownership verified and working out some issues with getting my discount), I ended up leaving about an hour after the store closed. Which wasn't a problem at all, because Ryan, the staff member who helped me, was patient and friendly throughout. As we were waiting for some stuff to process on the computer, he, his co-worker, a couple of other customers and I talked about inventions that we should patent. Such as washing machines that would drop clothes into the dryer below them so that you don't have to take out your laundry. Or an app that would let you press a button to control this fancy mechanism. All in all, it was a fun experience. I am officially a fan of this store. read more

Plenty of employees so you won't be standing around long. You can do most anything on their in-store computers. In the past I've found people in this store very helpful but more recently have found just the opposite. I broke the glass on my phone and went in to see what options I had, really expecting to replace the phone. Before doing anything the salesgirl asked for identification and then sent a text with a code to another phone on the account to verify the account. Was that really necessary before she could look at the phone? After less than a glance at the problem she told me there was a phone repair shop nearby. No guess of what it might cost to fix or any replacement offers. Really nothing. I got the impression I was an inconvenience, not a customer. I went to the repair shop and actually had a great experience. I guess really she did me a favor. I'm a lot happier giving my business to the shop that wanted it instead of spending more to buy a new phone. I've increasingly not been liking Verizon and this was just another bad experience. read more

I have been a Verizon business account owner for 20 years and the Nashville West store insisted that my employee had to have my SS number to get the information transferred from their old phone to the new phone. I contacted Verizon and they said that was absolutely NOT correct. The Nashville West store obviously doesn't train their employees well and when the person I was speaking with at Verizon tried to call the phone, the store never answered. Incredible incompetence and I am going to find myself a new wireless company. read more

My SIM card was going in and out, so I stopped in this location one morning to get it fixed. The repair guy tells me that if I reset my phone (essentially turn it off and back on) it would be fixed. In other words he troubleshoots electronics about as well as my mom. There was nobody waiting. Why not just swap out my 2.5 year old SIM card? So we "reset" the phone. It works... for about 2 hours. So I come back to the store, and they promptly start replacing my SIM card (that's where the 1 star comes from... also you cannot give zero stars). The next part is where it gets really frustrating. One of the associates offers to review my plan. I had not had my plan review in a number of years and the cell industry is very competitive right now so I was hoping for a better offer. He tells me that if I switch to the new plan and add insurance I will save $20 and have insurance coverage which I didn't have before. Sounds awesome, right? And he told me there is no contract or commitment. Score! I asked multiple times about the new total monthly charge, confirming that it would be $20 less than the old. He confirmed confidently each time. He even informed me that the changes had left a credit on my account and that I could that credit towards a $250 bluetooth speaker. I declined the speaker. Then I get my next bill. What the associate failed to tell me was that insurance costs $22/month. Also, the changes to my plan resulted in a $15 fee. I'm currently on the line with customer service trying to get everything reversed and a credit for the insurance and fee. I'm assuming the associates get some kind of commission for selling insurance. Either way, avoid this location. read more

My phone hadnt had service in 3 days. I went to the nearest Verizon store and was told they couldn't help me since I purchased my phone at Best Buy. So I went to Best Buy and the person there was less than helpful. He sent me to the Charlotte pike Verizon store. I am new to the area and trying to get from place to place without a phone or gps is almost impossible. Anyways, the employees at the Charlotte Pike store were super friendly and helpful. They attempted to replace the SIM card to see if they could get me service to get to the apple store. It didn't work. They advised me that the IPhone 7 was having a hardware failure and that apple would more than likely replace the phone (they were right). I had no idea how to get to Cool Springs so they printed me directions. They went Above and beyond and they should all get a raise! read more

I was due for an update for my cell phone. Andrew helped me and was the most helpful, attentive salesperson I have ever had at any mobile phone company. I needed my photos transferred (mainly for work), but I could not access them through my Cloud. That meant I had to download a new program which would access all of these photos. He answered all of my questions and took at least four calls to his personal cell phone to get all of the data I needed transferred to my new phone. The customer service was excellent, service was fast, and Andrew should be commended for his service and willingness to provide superior support to customers of this store. read more

The customer service was terrible. I felt as if I was being rushed. I asked questions like, I'm on the fence as to get a iPhone or an android. The answer the representative gave was, I can't answer that for you. Wow! All he could say is why would you go from what you have to a different phone? He was very short with his answers. I have never purchased an 800.00 phone before so I had questions. So, I just decided to get the galaxy 8s plus. He walks off to get it. I asked, do I not get to choose my color? His response to me was "it doesn't matter you going to have a case on your anyway". So I said I would still like to choose my color and he said black or silver and I responded this one is blue can I have the blue one? It's not in stock he said, we would have to order it. He comes out with $90 worth of equipment $50 for the screen protector which she didn't ask me if I wanted he just automatically threw that in you I didn't want the hard glass protector, I wanted one of the less expensive ones but he didn't ask me. He just looked at the current phone that I was on and thought that I wanted that protector. He also comes out with a car charger which I didn't ask for that was another $20 and he also comes out with the $30 case. I told him that equipment was too expensive and I didn't want it and he says to me " you realize if you walk out of here and break this phone it's yours" and I and said " and you realize I have insurance". I then said, so nothing comes with this deal I don't get a free charger I don't get a free case I don't get a free screen protector? I get nothing? Another guy comes from the back a Caucasian guy with a spot close to his right eye and he says" don't nobody get free lunch no more " and I know I gave him a go to hell look because I wanted to say and wasn't nobody talking to you but I didn't but that pissed me off even more. So I simply just told him that let me think about this and and I'll come back the guy's name that poorly serviced me was Ross. I'm so not happy with the customer service. Mind you that I've had a Verizon account for almost 20 years and I haven't worked at a different telecommunications company the entire time and I've never had anything other than a Verizon phone but I'm switching today!!!!!! We showed up at this store about an hour before closing on New Years Eve and was never made to feel like we were inconveniencing the staff as you might think on a day like NYE. The staff was friendly and helpful as soon as I walked in the door. I already knew what phone I needed, but I asked for suggestions on apps and accessories and was given honest advice, and I didn't feel like they were trying to sell me anything that I didn't need or want. This hasn't always been my experience with a Verizon store, so I will definitely go back to this one the next time I need to make a purchase or need assistance. read more

I have been to this location twice. The service was excellent and while waiting I observed that all of the people helping customers were friendly and attentive. They took whatever amount of time that was needed for the customer to be satisfied with their help. I personally had the help of Kayla and she was outstanding. Josh is an amazing sales rep, and he knows his stuff! This past weekend he was more than helpful with getting my plan changed over to the Verizon Edge. He was patient with me and all of my questions and made sure I understood my new plan. When my 2 year old got fussy he gave her a popsicle from the employee fridge! Passing team members were also in good spirits! Thank you all so much for making what is normally a dreadful experience, easy!! And the music they play was pretty awesome too! read more
