My Xfinity internet service has been continuously unstable, with frequent outages and performance issues. Xfinity has acknowledged that the problem is due to a failing main line servicing my development and that it needs to be replaced, yet they have repeatedly refused or delayed completing this work. As a result, the service remains unreliable despite knowing the root cause. Paying for consistent internet while the provider fails to address known infrastructure issues is extremely frustrating. Where to even begin! * was told we could upgrade all phones but after we signed the contract, was told we would have to wait 3 months. * interesting environment. one customer was cussing out an employee over the phone on speaker, one customer had a knife he kept flicking out repeatedly after storming out of the store multiple times. super uncomfortable to say the least. * process took over 4 hours and it got so late we had to come back the next day * employee kept going to the back every 10-15 minutes while helping us to "ask the manager" but it seemed like a chance to buy time. There is an obvious lack of training here. Overall, if you want a huge waste of time and a frustrating process start to finish then you've found the right place. but hey! at least the prices are cheaper. read more

After a year on the $50 plan for Internet I was hit with a $200 bill with zero explanation. I changed back to the $50 plan but the next bill was over $100. I have called every number I can find and either been hung up on immediately or get a robot. I have never felt so scammed. I would compare this to insurance fraud. I don't know what else to do but contact a lawyer and report them to the FCC! We are currently looking for another internet option and are going to do everything we can to expose this place for scamming us and basically trying to rob us. I am absolutely stunned by this and cannot believe that this is how they do business. Rip you off and make sure you cannot contact them. My eldest norther uses this service and until I got involved , I didn't realize the depth of the absolute corruption and bs involved . They sold her a service then over charged her monthly . Xfinity in California was wonderful for over 20 years! Since moving to Tennessee 3 years ago, nothing but TROUBLE!!!! Starting with they said all services would transfer, which they didn't without considerable extra costs, to the most recent issues, 1 of which they changed our DVR service without our consent & we lost several hours of programs which are not recoverable! On Friday 11/14/25 I went to the Xfinity store in Bellevue, TN to pick up my new IPhone 17 pro Max cosmic orange with the 1T storage that I had already paid for. I spoke with an Xfinity rep on the phone directly before leaving my house who confirmed the phone was in stock. Upon arrival a service rep by the name of David Agboto is who I was matched with. I told him I was there to pick up my phone and activate a new line using their free year of service promotion transferring in from Verizon- all of which was included in my ticket that had already been paid before I arrived. He goes back to grab my phone, then comes back out and proclaims "you got lucky, this is our last terabyte in this color." At that moment, another service rep gave David a hard time for him giving me the phone- as if he had intentions to sell it to someone else. Keep in mind the phone was on the desk not two feet away and I was able to confirm it was the right color and storage. David then continued to type on his computer for around a minute- then says "hold on let me check something" then returns the phone to the back. Then he comes back out and says that he will have to create a ticket for me, even though everything had already been taken care of. It was fully obvious that he was making excuses to not sell me the phone. So I told him to make me a ticket since I was off work and that I would wait around. After another good minute of him typing on his computer he tells me that he won't be able to honor the free full year of service. I replied that is fine I will still pay the full service price so I can get the phone today. He goes then back on his computer and tells me that he will need to speak with a live agent. After about 30 minutes of waiting around, he allows another in-store employee to unplug his computer and reboot the entire system-all while he is telling me he is still conversing with a live agent on his computer when this clearly wasn't the case as he hadn't used any other type of device. After another 20 minutes he comes back and says that he can't honor the trade in value of my phone today, and that I will have to wait for me to get the phone. I told him not to worry about it, that I would pay the full $1700 price. He then tells me it will take some time so I wait around again, just for him to bring me out and almost sell me (luckily I caught on) a 256g storage instead of the 1T I already had reserved- then tries telling me he never had the 1T even though I saw it with my own eyes.. Given the fact he is obviously doing everything he can to not sell me my phone, I asked to speak with his manager to which David replied they are not in store- so instead, I asked for the representative's name who gave David a hard time about bringing out my correct phone in the first place. David absolutely refused to provide a name or any information of the other representative who was in the back at this time. So I then asked to speak with this gentleman who is dark complexion with glasses and dreads and had a red bandanna on at the time. David disappears for around 10-15 mins in the back and comes back out just to say the other associate is unavailable for a conversation. I had to host 50 people at home the following day and simply had more important things to do than continue to be ran around in circles and blatantly lied to which lasted in total approximately 3 hours of my time. Having been an Xfinity customer for years I was utterly shocked at this level of customer "service" and find it difficult to further support a business who tolerates this type of behavior from its employees. I was looking forward to seeing what Xfinity mobile was all about- but this ordeal reminded me that Verizon is simply the best. I'd happily pay more to not experience what I went through in-store ever again and will be cancelling all services they provide while highly recommending friends, family and colleagues do the same. read more

I noticed some bad reviews of this store so I decided I needed to contribute because our experience was great! We worked with Shelton who helped us switch from Verizon to Xfinity Mobile. He was very friendly, helpful, and patient with us. We did have an appointment but we weren't asked to verify that information. (Hopefully they would have confirmed that information had they been busier, out of fairness for those who took the time to make an appointment) We did come at 11:00am on a Saturday and they had plenty of employees to help all customers there. It was not too crowded at that time either. It has been a few days since switching and so far I have not noticed a difference in cell service after switching, which is good! read more

No point in scheduling appointments when they will take walk-ups and make you wait, even when you arrive at the expected appointment time. Even when they acknowledge you're there at the right time, they'll still disregard any pre-scheduled appointment because "they have so many people not show up to appointments". Long story short- tons of hidden fees and problems they refused to refund. $48/month agreed upon in store with no activation fees turned into $178 bill the first month with no explanation and no assistance. In store they claim all they can do is dispute it with corporate, which means waiting on speakerphone for several hours and not getting anything accomplished. We will NEVER use xfinity again. The only reason I gave one star is because I couldn't give zero stars. Worst customer service that I have experienced in a long time. There were no other customers except me and at least three employees. The person who I dealt with was either extremely rude or just had no clue how to do the job. We went in to turn equipment and man at front desk did not look at us or address us. My husband and I waited in case he was finishing something since he kept looking at his tablet. He asked us what we needed (without making eye contact) and my husband responded we were returning equipment. My husband asked how he was doing and he did not respond. After we commented about hoping his day was going well, he said he didn't respond to our question because it was a personal one, and too personal. Throughout the reminder of our interaction, he did not look up until he handed my husband a receipt and I asked his name since his name tag was turned over, hiding his name. He finally looked up ask, when I asked his name. He asked why I needed his name. He responded with a name we didn't understand before saying his name was Bobby. We thanked him, wished him a good day and left. Xfinity needs to train their employees in customer service, and regardless of your personal opinions or problems, show kindness, address customers and smile. I typically have extreme long waits when I come in Comcast stores so I mentally prepared beforehand. Although there may not be many customers in the store, the representative tend to move slow and have casual conversations that slow the process down. I was happy to see learn when I arrived that I was able to set an account up online and also order my equipment. By the time I was called up by a representative I had everything handled on my end, I just needed to get my equipment. After many attempts to upsell other features, the representative finally gave me the equipment I needed to set up internet at my new place. The whole process seemed a little too easy and of course I get home and there is no coax cable in my kit. So I wasn't able to set up my internet that day and had to make another trip back the next day. read more

Everything is fine until something goes wrong. I've been without internet & tv for days. There was severe weather that came through & it went out. My notification says they'll start working on it after after it is safe. The storm has been gone for days with no update on when it should be fixed. I tried very hard to reach an actual person yesterday but couldn't get past an automated line telling me 'an agent can't help you'. I just want to know when to anticipate service to return. I work from home & need internet for work. The latest update is days old. I pay just under $200 a month for this service. If customer service could be marked zero, I would give them zero. read more

Switched my internet service online. Went into the store to make sure my account was changed. Tech wasn't able to see the change, until I showed them the confirmation emails then it magically appeared. But she told me that they would probably raise my rates over what I signed up for online because the rate I signed up for after logging into my existing account and selecting the option to change my service was for new customers not existing. We had a new internet line dropped over 60 days ago with the understanding it would be buried the following week. My wife has been to two different stores (this one Highway 70), including the one on Bakers Bridge 5 times because you can't get anything accomplished with telephone customer service. No one is able to answer any questions. For a communications company, I'd give them a zero star if that was an option. Managers (Eva) unavailable and unresponsive. I have had Xfinity internet for years. Recently it has been going out several times a day. I have reset everything and nothing helps. So I called customer service and finally after a few tries got someone I could halfway understand (I have hearing issue) they wanted me to do the same steps I had already done. I told them I needed to have someone come out to check things and all he kept saying was we needed to reset the hoax on our end, of course we had already done. He would not even set up a service call. o know why so many people are leaving Xfinity and going elsewher. They do not care about there customer. I have had Xfinity service since I moved into this apartment complex over two years ago. It was offered when I signed the lease; I was told "It's what everyone has here." I took it. I only need internet; I don't watch TV and I get my cell service elsewhere. ALL I NEED IS A STABLE INTERNET CONNECTION. You know, for things like email and social networking. It doesn't need to be outrageously powerful, it just needs to work consistently. Apparently that is too much to ask. My current internet "connection" comes and goes like the frigging weather. Since I use the internet for Facebook chat, Zoom and web surfing ONLY, I have become very frustrated with the fact that the connection is constantly failing right in the middle of my conversations with people outside of Tennessee who I care about. Additionally it renders me incapable of completing work that I do ONLINE ( currently, building a website for my own small business). When I tried to work an online job from home last year, it was a nightmare because of the unreliable connection. I finally gave up and now work outside my home, despite a very real health risk that this poses to me. The most infuriating thing about it is that when I try to troubleshoot from my phone, their idea of a solution is to send me links (INTERNET links) to address the problem... and of course the LINKS don't work BECAUSE I HAVE NO INTERNET CONNECTION. Geez. Losing my mind here. Xfinity has even been to my home (again) in the last week (the third scheduled trip since I moved in) and replaced the modem. A courtesy for which I have no doubt I will be charged. Can't wait to see the bill. This has in NO way fixed the issue; the internet still comes and goes like buses at Music City Central. This has been a frustrating 3 months with this provider for sure! We discontinued TV, back in June, since we only needed internet. To date, (three months later), we are STILL getting billed, despite returning equipment, going in-store, on-line and calling in, to dispute our bill. Still no joy! My husband spent 3 hours, via phone trying to find a resolve with our bill!? Foreign service reps, who cannot understand anything we're trying to say, and then assuring us (after 3 hours), that our account will be credited. TWO days later, we received a statement, with an even HIGHER balance due than what we had been paying monthly for the past three years with Xfinity. NOTHING to reflect a credit!? One of my cable boxes quit working, so Xfinity sent me a replacement. They instructed me to take the box back into the Xfinity store, which I did. However, when the representative took the old box, he did not take the time to remove it from my account. So, on my next bill, I was charged for the box, even though it was literally in the possession of Xfinity. I had to call and spend 30 minutes on the phone with Xfinity to 1) figure out why I was being charged, 2) explain why I shouldn't be charged, and 3) have the charges fixed. I had to waste an hour of my (very busy) morning because of a lazy and feckless Xfinity Bellevue employee. read more

Apr 16, 2023, 11:45 AM You sent During my last Service call the Technician stated a different team was required to come to my house and Update or adjust equipment at the pole in order for me to get the 800MB speeds that I am paying for. I have already updated the Modem per Xfinity's request, had a service call where the technician verified all outdoor cabling was good, and performed all required troubleshooting. The technician stated while here on site, that he would schedule a specialist to come and update equipment at the pole, But I have not heard anything. Can I PLEASE PLEASE get someone to update the outside equipment at the pole so I can get the Speeds I am paying for? This has been a horrible experience, I need this escalated and resolved right away. I would also like a credit for the downtime that was all done for nothing. I repeatedly received email warnings from Xfinity stating my Modem was not getting the speeds I pay for. After a terrible experience simply registering my new up to date modem, The speed did not change, multiple speed tests from several sources showed I was STILL only getting 400mb download speeds. After yet another terrible experience trying to troubleshoot, I was ONLY left with the option to have a technician come take a look, even though I explained that all of the outdoor wiring was redone and certified by Xfinity Months prior. I STILL HAVE 400mb Download SPEEDS. What will it take to get this resolved? I have been an Xfinity customer for over a decade, but I can no longer accept this type of Customer service. Our family lost a loved one and Xfinity as a whole does not know how to assist their customers in navigating their service through this process. This store has made things very difficult for us with their lack of knowledge and follow-up. I was told 2 separate times that our concerns would be handled and I would be contacted at a later date. Both times I received no such communication even after I reached out via the contact information given to me. Several Xfinity employees said we could simply transfer the existing services to us and Bee Shockey at this store said absolutely not. The process from here has been HELL. I was made to get new equipment, our land line stopped working, two different accounts were billed for the same internet services, and our loved one's account was still billed for cable services even though I returned the cable boxes. I understand people make mistakes, but this company needs to do better about training employees on a standard protocol to implement when something like this happens. I have driven to the store twice and spent hours on the phone to figure all of this out. Our land line still does not work and I am unsure if I am the only one getting billed for the same service. I had asked for service, still have no service after over two months. There is not even a cable pulled to install. However, they are billing me and calling me for late payment when I do not owe them anything since I have no service at all. They also messed up the original order and said it would be corrected. It was never corrected and when I asked them to fix it they said I could not get any of the original new customer discounts since they said I already was a customer, which is insane because I did not confirm the order I said so on tape, and the guy that did the order said he had placed a ticket for correction but never corrected. After over 20 hours nothing has been corrected and they are retroing the payment till back to the first unconfirmed call. Originally it was set to start Dec. 2021 so that the cable could be pulled and once the technician came they would change the date and start the billing. Somehow that was accidently changed by them and now I am getting calls and texts about late payment and told they are going to close the account. I cannot get anyone to just take the wrong billing off and adjust the date, so I do not get the harassing calls. Am totally curious in 6 days, when I still do not have service, what they will do since my "bill", that I do not owe, will go to 60 days and service, that I do not have, will be "cutoff". I ran and managed infrastructure projects for years. Their system is completely inadequate to manage a simple project of running a connection for a customer and and even worse, not being able to remove an inappropriate billing - not one of the twenty I talked to could correct the billing. Also I was told if I now gave up and said i did not want it anymore due to this awful customer service, they would charge me for the rest of the contract which I did not confirm in the first place because it was wrong. When I switched from AT&T to Xfinity, I was pleased (with AT&T I would lose internet and cable just due to heavy rainfall). As of the last two weeks, I'm very dissatisfied and disappointed with Xfinity. Apparently they have been installing fiber optics in my service area. It would have been nice if we could have been notified in advance, via email (the way you do when you're pushing your products and asking for payment) that there were going to be outages. I have had to use 4 hours of vacation time and I missed an important video staff meeting because 10 minutes before I was due to join the meeting, my internet stopped working. If I had know in advance, I could have planned to drive into the office. And, what makes your service even more irritating is the AUTOMATED COMPUTER HELL you get trapped in that won't connect you to an actual agent. If by some stroke of luck you manage to escape AUTOMATED COMPUTER HELL, you get connected to a foreigner that you can barely understand because English is obviously not their first language. News flash for you Comcast, their are some things that computers aren't programmed to answer. I simply wanted to speak to a live person to "possibly" get an idea of "approximately" how many days it would take to complete the fiber optics installation.
