Just had the most insane experience with Xfinity. My fiancé and I have been loyal customers for 5 years. A couple of days ago, after having a balance of $0, because everything is paid off, every month, on time, no matter what, we woke up to a charge of $682. How. How in the world does that even happen? He spent 4+ hours on the phone with multiple managers, employees, and supervisors, and NO ONE had a clear answer or reasonable explanation why this balance appeared. We were hung up on several times, one call while speaking to a manager, which is very unprofessional. Now they're trying to claim that the issue was with the bank, that the payment was late or never went through which is also wrong because the payment was pulled SUCCESSFULLY, every time we paid and we have proof documenting this. The lack of responsibility, accountability, and failure to provide rational or reasonable explanations regarding this incredibly high charge is negligent and unacceptable. We have proof that we have paid, on time, every single month. Now Xfinity is giving us the run around because no one can figure out why this random $682 charge is on our account when on January 22 (today is February 4) the balance was fully paid off and showed a $0 balance due on the billing statement. DO NOT GET SERVICES FROM THIS COMPANY. No one knows what's going on and it's clear a lot of work is out sourced and those people don't know what's going on either. So incredibly frustrating and disappointing. We were paying $145 a month for 2GBPS with Xfinity and now we're moving to Google fiber and paying $100 a month for 3GBPS. -- this isn't a review based solely on this location but our experience as a whole with Xfinity. read more

I sign a 2‑year Xfinity Business contract 6 months ago. On the sales call I ask about closing early if my shop fails. The rep says it is fine if the business closes. No fee. My shop closes after six months. I call to cancel. Xfinity charges me $600 as an early end fee. I share this so owners know the risk. The contract sets a fee when you end early. I did not know that at the time. I asked about it and was told I was safe if the business shuts. I ask Xfinity to remove the fee based on what I was told. The answer is no. My view: this sets false hope for small shops. Get every promise in writing before you sign. Ask about early end fees and how they work. I ask Xfinity to fix this and train sales to give clear terms. These people are some scammers. I bought the 30 day NOW WIFI pass and they completely deleted my account. Whenever I go to connect to the pass in the WiFi it says account doesn't not exist even I obviously signed up with a email. It's only September 8 2025 mind you so it's not expired. They scam people. I'm a new Xfinity customer who recently moved to a new build home in Nashville -- a house that has never had Xfinity service. I signed up for service over a month ago, and what has followed has been a non-stop parade of delays, miscommunication, and complete incompetence. The first appointment to get connected was two weeks out. When the tech finally arrived, he discovered a line would need to be laid -- another two-week delay. When the crew came to lay the line, they didn't even connect it to the house, requiring yet another appointment. Next tech arrives only to discover that the newly laid line had no service. So what's their solution? He runs a temporary above-ground line through multiple neighbors' yards, then says a crew should come soon to rebury it -- only he never submitted the ticket. I went to the Xfinity store (Hermitage location), thinking that maybe talking to someone in person could help. The rep was polite and told me a crew would come within four days. Turns out she scheduled a regular tech, not a line crew. That tech came to my house at 8am on a Sunday just to tell me what I already knew -- that we needed a buried line. Complete waste of time for both of us. That last tech claimed he submitted a new ticket for the line to be reburied. That was two days ago and I still haven't heard a word from Xfinity. So here I sit, a month later, still without a proper connection and with a line is snaking across two neighbors' yards. This level of poor coordination and communication from such a large company is absolutely embarrassing. Every step of this process has made it clear that no one at Xfinity is empowered -- or interested -- in completing a job. The local employees and the service tech from this store have been some of the friendliest people I've dealt with at Comcast. I had a modem issue because Best Buy sold me a refurbished modem as new, and as a result it couldn't be connected to my new Comcast account. The employees at this location have made what is normally a painful process less annoying. It's so different than the phone interactions I have had with national customer service reps from Comcast, who seem to always have trouble getting to the root of the issue. To return the Comcast modem I used for a week while waiting for my replacement from Best Buy, it took only about 5 minutes of my time, even though I went near closing time. THE MOST INCOMPETENT WORKERS IVE EVER MET. Do not use Xfinity unless you absolutely have to. This process has been absolutely ridiculous in trying to get our internet box installed. We have been rescheduled twice and are now on week 3 of no internet. They will let us know they are on their way and just not show up. Then someone shows up today and says he can't install our internet. What is wrong with these people. I work from home and have paid so much extra money for hotspot just to run my computer and not lose my job. I will stress that I have NEVER left a complaint before about anyone but these stupid people deserve it. This is the only service provider store I've ever been to that I would actually choose to go to again. It's clean and open. They got a long line of people in and out quickly, didnt harass us and try to get us with annoying sales tactics. I went in because I had to cancel my service due to a family emergency, after days of trying to cancel by phone and being asked endless questions and trying to get me not to cancel i had had enough and decided to go to the store. It was easy, they didn't harass me, when I need to start service again eventually i will actually choose Xfinity again and I'm kind of shocked. read more

I moved into Tennessee from Colorado where I used to use Xfinity. Not only did I call and try to get set up, having to wait more than an hour to talk to someone, I went into this location just to get some quick information. Upon walking in, I was told to wait a few moments to be helped. I waited for 20 minutes before hearing someone who was in the before me ask how long the wait was. There were six people in front of him. The store had people sitting around waiting to be helped while 4 xfinity employees were standing at their desks not helping a single person. The experience was so frustrating that I cancelled my installation appointment and moved to another service provider. Colorado's xfinity was extremely fast. I was able to call, pick up the equipment, and install within 40 minutes (with a packed store nonetheless). This place doesn't begin to compare. read more

If they didn't have a monopoly on this service, they would go out of business in a heartbeat. The company has massive information silos causing problems anytime I change one thing on my account. Today I went to this service center to turn in equipment from a house I moved out of and cancel that service. Next thing I know, the clown has deactivated my router at my new place and I have to spend 40 minutes on the phone with those jokers to get this simple task done of adding the router back on the account. I'll spare you all the details, but this is just the most recent problem I've had with them. Absolutely worst service company I've ever had to deal with. We had multiple business accounts for them and decided to finish out our agreement and cancel for our home internet since I was moving. I've always had auto payment set up and gave them notice of not renewing my contract and gave them the last day I would be using their services. I turned in everything and even checked to make sure I was good as golden on no more fees or $ owed. Well, 4 months later I get a $175 charge on my account for termination, late payment, and "service fees". Makes no sense, since I had auto payment on my account and finished out my agreement. Stayed on the phone for 2 hours for the person to hang up on me twice telling me they are "transferring me" and then waiting for another hour while someone couldn't tell me my agreement start/end date and couldn't even send it to my email. I asked for a supervisor and they told me they couldn't talk to me at all. Absolutely worst company and I will make sure all 500 of my clients break away from Xfinity moving forward. read more

Well, adding to the many negative reviews for Xfinity. This is the absolute worse internet service and support that I have ever seen. I pay for 800 Mbps and most of the time receive about 24 Mbps speed. Xfinity has serviced my internet several times and still no solution. I tell them it is the lines that serve my area, but nobody seems to care. If you are considering the internet, go somewhere else. Maybe I can get Google in my neighborhood sometime. read more

Went to return equipment and their network was down. Not a great sign. Making matters worse they have no system in place for when their network is down. When the sales associate told me to go to cool springs or call comcast myself I admit I lost my cool. After persuading him I final at least got him to at least make a hand written note. No telling if it will make it into my account. I still have the equipment and will have to find another time to go and take care of this return. We still have internet with Xfinity that runs great and the over the phone service has been fantastic the last two times I have had to use it so I wanted to at least give them credit for that. I am positive that my experience at one store is not reflective of the brand as a whole. read more

Review for brick and mortor bulding, NOT the phone service. How many times did I call Comcast to want to pull out every eyelash out one by one during the minimum 45 minute conversation. Odds are very high. HOWEVER, this store, no matter what, has been so very helpful and calm while the crazy lady gives back her equipment yet another time. The phone support, I would not give a dime, the service here, really great. I have made a few friends with my visiting so many times, however they are still as polite as can be. The wait time has not been very long the past few times I have gone. You can play some form of game in the waiting area as well as watch TV. It is next the juice place and few places to eat. They are open on Sunday and quite honestly are not like their phone counterparts. If ever scared to walk in and wait, don't. Queue moves fast and more than likely you will be happier when you leave than when you arrive. read more

As always Xfinity shut down for a maintenance issue that was preplanned yet only announced on their app. Customers are forced to go to the app to find out why there is an outage. A preplanned maintenance should be announced on the TV set so that People would not start a movie that xfinity had no intention of finishing. This coupled with the fact that with Comcast you sign a contract that lists the TV stations you are purchasing. You sign a year contract. You are held to your contract but Comcast is not. They then begin to take away stations that you paid for. They then tell you you can pay extra to receive the stations that you agreed in the contract to pay for in the first place. If I purchase something from the store and then someone walks in my house and takes that which I paid for.....that's called stealing. There should be legislation that binds Comcast to their part of the contract as well. I will work to that end read more

Xfinity is by far the WORST cable/internet provider I have ever used - I am appalled by their customer service and overall LACK of service. It takes HOURS to even get a real person on the phone. We were continually told "oh there's an issue with your account" yet NO ONE made any effort to fix it and find the solution. Isn't that what customer service is for?? Also our scheduled installation for wifi, cable and security was pushed back for WEEKS - with no compensation to make up for it. Once wifi was finally installed, we still had issues with it. Not to mention, one week after installing the "security" system, our house was broken into and robbed for just about everything valuable we own. I would do zero stars if it were an option. read more

Unfortunately, I live in an apartment complex that has tied me to them so I have no alternatives for internet and cable. To make things worse, I have begged them to contact me by telephone to try and discuss my issues rather than force me to write a novel to them on one of their social media platforms and they refuse.
