John helped us transfer a corporate phone to our personal account. It required several steps and he followed it all the way through for us. Along the way, he very casually reviewed plan options with us. He suggested saving opportunities and even sold us on a great deal for a née iPad. John was professional and helpful and made an involved and time-consuming process bearable. As a further testament to his great customer service skills, he followed up with 2 other customers about their iPads. He checked to see if they were going to come get their iPads that day in case we could have taken one of those instead of waiting. read more

It is an on-going horrific nightmare that won't end. I filed a Legal Dispute of charges Claim and it took several months to be given that piece of information, After being told about the Legal Dispute Form, I filed my complaint. I had made numerous calls to the Business Division. This Company expects me to pay for service after telling them Verizon's reception the worst of all the Providers at my address. This was in terms of speed and strength of signal. On my last call, Verizon asked me for an additional 48 hours to " research my claimant with the Associate that took the Original Forms". That was five days ago. Still no call from Verizon's Service Department. But with six days they expect a payment from Me when they can see in their System that I never connected one services, and the Internet connection was horrible. At this particular Verizon we are on vacation out of town and I was approached by a guy I don't even know his name who I was trying to have assist me in mailing back my phone and he said oh we don't do that here because we don't want to take responsibility for something like that and I thought that was the rudest thing ever. Instead of saying that he could have said oh let me direct you to where you can mail that but no he was rude it takes a real strong individual to be in retail and this guy's not cutting it but Britney really helped us out she was kind friendly understanding. My son's phone broke so came in and just wanted a new phone. They told me he didn't have an upgrade due and I had to pay off a balance for my wife's phone first. I told them I just wanted to buy my son a new phone and didn't care about the upgrade discount. I told her I'd just pay full price for the new one. She told me it was impossible. I left and went to the Apple Store, bought my son a new phone, switched out the SIM card and done!! Be careful! Brought in a used IPhone I bought to get service switched over because it was saying the SIM card from my old phone wasn't compatible and the employee was more interested in selling me a new phone than helping. He told me my phone was probably locked and could only be used for parts (he didn't even try to look at it). I took it home, plugged it into my Mac and it updated and now works fine. Don't fall for the free phone on us promotion. We moved 3 lines from T-Mobile to Verizon and it's costing us almost $1000.00 to do it. They are not upfront about all of the out of pocket expenses. We went back when they opened the next day and they said there wasn't anything we could do about it b/c the guy who helped us the night before was off that day. We insisted they call him and he texted us that afternoon that it was too late b/c he had already processed the paperwork. Paperwork we never got a copy of and it wasn't until we finally found our way around the user UN-friendly app that the true costs were revealed. First thing's first: I want to heap praise on the gentleman who helped us, Nick. He went above and beyond in order for us to be able to pull my mother-in-law's number over from our previous carrier. Over the course of several hours and TWO DAYS!, Nick worked tirelessly, handling multiple phone calls, multiple questions (from my MIL, God love her), even while multi-tasking with another customer. STAY AWAY!!!! I wish I had gone to a normal verizon store.... I traded my phone in in May, and called Verizon a month after asking where my credit was. They said wait a few months and call back. It still hasn't shown up. So then I called them in October asking where the credit was. They apparently never received it from this store. My trade in receipt has no tracking number (and Cellular Sales has no way to "find" it after speaking with them). I am currently on hour 3 of customer support calls with Verizon. I am still out the $135 for my trade-in. This place is probably great if you aren't trading in your phone, but it is so much more reliable to go directly to a verizon store (because you get the credit immediately) vs. this reseller, because you have no leverage with Verizon. Staff seems friendly in-person, but the overall experience is mediocre. To start, phone selection is surprisingly poor. I had to order what I thought was a standard phone selection. Ordering the phone became its own issue. I was told the phone would be available in two days, but as of six... no phone. My FedEx tracking number said the phone was delivered to the store but the reps refused to give it to me and said inventory had it "locked up". Since moving to Nashville two years ago this month I have found Cellular Sales at this location to be the BEST in taking care of my Verizon needs. The staff, regardless of whom I have worked with have always been extremely knowledgeable, friendly and available. I purchased a Google Pixel XL to replace my Nexus 6 that was on an expiring AT&T contract. I had been happy with AT&T but unable to get service in an upgrade at the local stores. I walked into Cellular Sales and was helped instantly without having to sign in and wait endless hours. I later went into two Verizon Company stores trying to load a corporate discount code onto my account and was not able to get assistance at either store being referred to the company's 800 number each time who referred me back to the retail stores. I finally stopped at Cellular Sales and walked out 3 minutes later with the discount added to my account. Another WIN! I purchased a Samsung Tablet at Best Buy and the enclosed SIM card did not work to connect to the Verizon Network despite it being on my Verizon bill and contract. Again, despite several trips to Verizon company sites and Best Buy to no avail a simple SIM card replacement at no cost at Cellular Sales had me fixed and operating quickly. Since then I purchased another phone on the family plan and again after being in Verizon corporate stores for hours with no end to the lines or assistance stopped today and was able to purchase a new Google Pixel 2 XL to replace my wife's phone on her expiring contract with AT&T. We tried to get it switched to Verizon from AT&T as it is an unlocked phone as another reviewer posted and we were told that it would work for Voice but Data would be hit or miss. This was not the fault of Cellular Sales but at least they were knowledgeable enough to know the products and network they sell. I am sold on Cellular Sales and the service they provide. If they stop selling Verizon and change to a new Network I would change service to stay with them. Excellent and 5 stars is not enough!! read more

I just called over there and asked about switching my iPhone to Verizon from AT&T. I've done a bunch of simple research my iPhone and whether it will work (and is allowed to be used) on the Verizon network (per forums, Verizon Wireless website, etc). Opposite of the internet, including Verizon's own site, I was told it wouldn't work and would need to get a new phone. I will be heading to the actual Verizon Wireless store in Green Hills today in hopes of a better experience. Makes me wonder how many people they have inconvenienced with new equipment when it wasn't needed or wanted. Restoring a new iPhone can take hours. read more

NOT A REAL VERIZON STORE ---- Aside from the fact that I wasted my time in a Cellular Wireless store that pretends to be a Verizon store, that wasn't the worst part of my experience . I've never been in a place that actually looks overstaffed until yesterday. A bunch of young guys standing around who must have to much of an ego at their big important job of selling phone cases to help a woman who obviously was looking to spend her money. The first thing you'll notice when you come in is a bothered feeling like you shouldn't be here you're not good enough. The salesman that I walked over to was not friendly or polite at all and he acted like he didn't want to be there or help me. The salesman also said if I was paying with cash I needed exact change because a couple of stores had been robbed. I just think the sales people at this Verizon should be friendly and polite instead of sitting around with their feet up in the chairs texting, especially for what Verizon charges for service. I had the best possible experience upgrading from a flip phone to an iPhone at this place. The people behind the counter (Terri and her co-workers) were not only kind, straightforward, human, generous and beyond helpful, but their help, humanity and dedication in assisting me with a rare, sentimental, lost voicemail was transcendent. Terri worked on the morning of her day off to assist me and persevered where I knew others would not! The woman is a star. And everyone else in the store was too. I would give them more stars for their wonderful customer service and kindness. Also, my family plan is affordable and I now live in the future with the impressive iPhone 5S. I was very satisfied with the level of service I received here. Usually when I go to the Verizon company store, I`m in there for several hours, and walk out with a bunch of stuff I don`t need. I wanted to buy the new iphone x, and was anticipating the purchase to be $999+tax (what I saw online), but was told the price would be $1110+tax. I asked the associate what was up with the price discrepancy and he said something like "well that's just how it is. Things are cheaper online and Verizon has to sell the products for more than the retail price so they can make money. You know like if you buy a boat or furniture or something-- companies have to charge more than the retail price to make money." I was pretty concerned that he didn't understand what "retail price" meant, so I decided not to give them my business. read more

This has been the worst experience ever with a business. No one will return my calls and when I go in person I'm told "we are working on it" and then nothing happens. I was told I would receive $569 for my old phone that this was a promotion but then as it turns out there was no promotion for my phone at all at the time I purchased my new phone!!! I was then told repeatedly that they would make it right and after almost 5 months they have done nothing. I am very sorry I switched to Verizon after being with AT&T for more than 20 years.
