If you visit the Green Hills VZN store, do so with caution. "Freddy" offered me an $1,100 trade in credit for my phone, yet my monthly bill was going to increase by $35/month. He represented that the phone I picked was in stock, then after taking my payment revealed the phone would be delivered more than 2 weeks later. Then, he and his manager told me the order couldn't be cancelled. I called VZN and easily cancelled the order. I bought the exact same phone from Apple and it was delivered within a couple of hours. Draw your own conclusion. Seemed dishonest so I won't be visiting the Green Hills VZN store again. I've told 5 people already about my experience and plan to tell more. I made an appointment and went into the Verizon Store in Green Hills for the sole purpose of buying a new iPhone. I had been on the Verizon site and was confused by the promotional offers, so I assumed doing it in person would allow me to get direct answers. The salesperson assigned to me was moderately nice. But he talked so fast and just started spitting out numbers and never answered my questions directly. There were some "I believe so" comments, and "I'm pretty sure," but never anything concrete while he asked me to make a 3-year commitment to a monthly bill significantly higher than what I'm paying now. When I tried to slow him down and let him know that I wasn't following him, he said he didn't know how he could explain it any clearer. I got frustrated and left. I will try to figure it out online. I finally had to bite the bullet and get my daughter a cell phone of her own thankfully Isaiah was kind and worked very hard to make this experience the least traumatizing as possible for me... While the fact that my daughter is now on the grid, which I'm now officially starting the grieving process because of, the fact is that Isaiah did an amazing job and I highly recommend anyone to him. I have now spent 3 hours going on 4 trying to purchase a phone and not only the Verizon customer service couldn't identify the issue in me purchasing for the discount, but when I went to the store because I wasn't having success virtually; Ashley at this store quick to pay attention to her new phone accessory rather than provide real attention to solving the issue. She had me call the customer service line myself and assured me that I would have my problem solved when I went to Apple and I still had the same issue. Went in to simply activate my iPhone. Spent 9.5 hours with customer service the day before and no one knew what to do. Once each ran out of ideas they said they'd call me back in a few minutes once they talked to someone else. All 4 people just never called back and I'd have to start the process over. I went in store so no one could just sneak off like they can over phone. Spent 3 hours here while I watch the representative call customer support like I did the day before. I tried explaining to her I've been down this path but she did it anyway. Hours past and she then agrees I was correct. She also said it's the phone and I should get a new one, but she isn't allowed to reorder a phone for me, someone else needs to do that. I left with an open ticket for the problem to be worked on. She promised me she'd send me her business card for her to call if they hadn't fixed the problem in the next 2 days. Shocker but she never sent me her info and now I am stuck here hoping someone is actually working on this but no way to actually know. Wow! What an energy and time battery drain. I wanted to upgrade to the 12 ProMax with increased 256 GB. This company can't even take $1400 without adding $20 here $40 there for no service at all. Stopped by on the Fourth of July to swap over from AT&T the sales associate Tre was unbelievably helpful and friendly. The entire staff was amazing and constantly coming over to check on us when Tre had to go in the back to grab my phone. He walked me through the entire process and practically did everything for me. I really wasn't looking forward to swapping my phone carrier again but Tre and the team made the entire process painless, quick and enjoyable. Every time I go to Verizon, I can pretty much count on losing hours of my life to this place since I feel like they can never get anything done. This was no exception. The customer service rep was nice enough, but we really didn't accomplish a thing despite his best efforts. I came at 6:15 today asking for help setting up an order for an (I knew back ordered) 13 Pro. I explained I had looked on the site online but had questions about the trade-in plans and the the store had been helpful to me with data in the past. The young woman who came up to me at the door repeatedly said "you can do that online..." Then she said it would be quite a wait--which I found interesting since there was a total of 5 people in the store and at least one other was also an employee. Terrible service. Was never greeted when I walked in the door. I stood within 5 feet of one of the salespersons (Jasmine) and after standing there waiting for 10-15 minutes she ignored me and went straight for the front door to immediately greet the very next customer who walked through the door. I will never set foot in this store again. If I could give "zero" stars or "negative" stars I would. Please find another Verizon store to go to when you need help or to buy a new phone. My phone broke 3 weeks ago (the touch screen went out). So I get a new one mailed to me through Verizon. I go in to this store to see if they can help me get some of my pictures and things off of my old phone. First of all, I walk in and no one offers to help me. I wait for an available staff member. One man becomes available, but obviously does not want to help me. Even when I ask for help, he says "Let me see if there was anyone else I needed to help" There was clearly no one else without a staff member but me. I then have to pry information out of him, and leave frustrated and almost in tears. That branch charges $20 to transfer your pictures from the piece of crap phone that they sold you (which broke) to your new extremely expensive-have-to-update-your-contract phone. The staff would much rather be selling phones than helping existing customers...and it shows. read more

I would give them a zero star review if that was an option. Absolutely horrible customer service. If you thought regular Verizon stores were bad - this is WORSE than that - unimaginably worse. I read the plethora of horrible reviews and, given that I lived nearby, hoped that maybe I could eek out a decent customer service experience there. WRONG. I called them beforehand to ask about a specific phone in stock. They told me they had several and that I could come by any time that day. I came in during lunch and they told me "Oh, sorry - we're out of that model but we should be getting more from FedEx around lunch time." Well at the time it was 12:30 so I was unsure when exactly "lunch time" was.. anyway. He said he would hold it for me and that they would call me as soon as it comes in. He calls me when I am busy (around 4pm, sure sounds like lunch time to me) and does not leave a voice mail or any indication that they had tried to call. I call back and the rep I had been working with is "busy" - so I talk to someone else and they tell me to come back in to get the phone that they had put on hold for me. I get into the store and - surprise - they had 3 phones come in from FedEx that day. But they sold them all. To other people. I accused the rep to his face of LYING to me - and he just says "Unfortunately we couldn't hold the item for you." At that point I was ready to get into an all out screaming match and stormed out of the store in a rage. Bottom line- they will LIE to you to get you to come into their store. They are dishonest and manipulative. DO NOT TRUST THEM and DO NOT GO HERE. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. read more

Horrible service! Went in to buy a new phone and was not greeted or told they would be with us soon. The store had maybe 3 people in it and 3 associated working so it was not busy at all. We sat patiently hoping we would receive help after the next person was called, but no. An older Caucasian women came in and two associates rushed over to sign her in and offer help. The staff was gathered around a table and the vibe was, "what are you doing here?" I approached the guy closest to me, explained my problem and his attitude was that I was just stupid and bothering him. Went to another guy, who helped me to figure out what was going on with my phone, but I don't want to go there again. Very negative vibe to the place. They're service model is terrible. When they're busy there is someone who stands at the door and enters your name like you're at a restaurant. At a restaurant the host usually may not be able to assist until a table is ready. Here at the Verizon store there is a register at the door and if the line isn't out and constantly taking names this individual becomes useless. I needed to make an exchange on a phone case which I've already picked out what I needed. No one else came into the store for at least 10 mins and customers who have been waiting prior to me coming in were leaving. My recommendation is they need to take a look at this process ask the customer about their experience and work to improve.... Makes me just want to do everything online next time. read more

I went to this Verizon store right after Christmas to see if the iPhone special was still available. We waited a little while but not too long . We asked the salesperson about the special and he reassured us that it was still available. First non truth. Than he forgot to mention a few other key details. So my first bill I find out that the special was over, so I went back into the store and I spoke with tabitha. She said she would give me credit, but not all at once but every couple months. Well what I found out from calling customer service is that they should have written off the one phone and I would just pay the other phone off. I have called many times and they won't budge, so I'm calling the corporate office to see if they can help me. read more

My mother in there went in this store around 3:45 pm and waited over 10 minutes just to be checked in...and we told them that we were interested in an upgrade...they just took our name and went on about their business. I must say, the folks at this store were pretty nice. I've been shopping to leave AT&T for a while. The customer service folks I worked with were patient and walked me through my options, considering how complicated my situation has been. I have had to work from the Business accounts perspective. They have made sure I understand my situation, walked me through my options and got me on my way. I did recommend them to get chairs to sit on. They said that was in the works. My negative is that I had difficulty porting my wife's number over from AT&T. But that is not the local store's issue. Overall, the customer service was good for me, considering AT&T and T-Mobile options. read more

Can a zero star be added for Verizon company? I was trying to get internet service for my new apartment. I went to the Verizon's website to try to find a new customer accounts for internet, telephone number. I had to type/text with an online support person for a bit before I could get a general Verizon telephone number. I called the number and the automated system kept asking me for an account number or address. All I wanted was to talk to someone not an automated machine. After 4 minutes of automation back and forth I find that internet service is not offered in zip code 37211. Thanks for nothing! read more
