So I did the standard check Amazon check Target check Best buy and I saw on Facebook marketplace that Mentor iPhone repair had at least a dozen sets of open box airpods. The owner of the store, matt, is almost always on site and he was in there doing what he does best which is making broken iPhones whole again. He had a ton of accessories for iPhones to include cases glass covers and we saw the case of airpods. He picked one out for me and it was about $30 less new than what I would have spent at best buy. Matt also has a pretty good selection of iphones, Apple computers, and pretty much anything Apple that you would want much of it is trade-in items. It is true they are super friendly, however it is very unfortunate for AT&T as a company that this store's work ethic, customer support and follow up is well below standards. This ineptitude creates serious issues and frustration for a customer. In my experience It has been 6- months and counting to try and get resolution for an incorrect account set up. I was looked directly in the eye and lied to about my contract and terms, my bill and the phones I purchased. I have not once received a follow up call and have had to spend countless hours on the phone with customer service reps trying to help me. If I could do it all over again I would never go here. Go to a real AT&T store and not this authorized dealer because if you run into any issue they will do NOTHING to help you come to a resolution. After an hour wait plus some Cody set up our new plan which wasn't the best but we needed atleast 1 new phone upgrade so it is what it is. They didn't have the phone we went there for so they had to order it...annoying but again it is what it is. Cody said it would be at my house in 2 days. Fedex tried to deliver it and I didn't realize I had to sign for it but that makes since given the amount of the phone. I left a signed slip to leave it the next day..fedex lied and said they came when I know for a fact they did not..so I called and they said no problem they would leave it the next day....they did not just put another note next to my signed one!!! I had to drive to Bedford to get it. I go in to have it activated like Cody told me to do and I wait again over 35 minutes when I was told 25. Just to activate a phone that should have been in stock. OK the man with a thick accent (didn't get his name)but seemed like he had some management authorities finally helped me when I told him I was getting frustrated...I was finally leaving and done..I thought until I seen the next day I had no data. I went back and they tried to tell me I had to wait AGAIN. 2 people ahead of me. I said I'm not waiting and I saw this girl whom I knew was the manager because Cody rudely said he would be back in the middle of helping us to go say hi to his manager Alexa came in with her child. I recognized her and she had seen me the second time I came in... I asked her if she was a manager and she said yes...I told her what the issue was and how frustrated I was and she offered no apology what so ever.
