I had done business here three years ago and was really happy with my experience. Today I walked in asking for the deal I saw online - $199 for an IPhone 12. I accidentally said "I'd like to get the deal online I saw for $199 for an IPhone 11." I'm a mom of three, exhausted, accidentally said the wrong phone name. I figured since it is their sale and this is the employee, he would be able to correct me if I'm wrong. I have came into this store in the past and was honored online deals in store. Right away he got phone cases and a screen protector. I told him that my husband likes to pick out these things and that I didn't want them. He said that in order to get the promotion (the phones for $199 each) I needed to buy these things and that they are virtually free. Then I noticed he had phone chargers. I asked about how much those were and that we like to buy our own. Again, he said they were included in this promotion and they were virtually free. I get home after all of this and my husband notices that we have iPhone 11s and not 12s. I was so confused. I reviewed the receipts and I was charged $105 for accessories and that an upgrade was used for my son's phone. Then I realized, why would I need to buy accessories in order to use my son's upgrade? I called up there right away and he told me they can't be exchanged and I would have to pay $260 to get the 2 IPhone 12s, and I could not get a refund on the accessories. Be sure you understand their return policy before you buy something from them. It is not forgiving. Online I could have gotten two IPhone 12s for around $498 including activation fees and taxes. Today I paid more for two older phones, two Iphone 11s for $522.33 including activation fees and taxes. I was told that if I wanted to buy just a phone, he would have told me to just buy it online because they make their money off of accessories, not the phone. He explained that he has turned many customers away because of that. So I asked him why he didn't advise me to do that when I told him we only wanted the phones and to add my daughter onto our plan. He didn't have a valid response besides all he could do is have me pay the $260 more, and give us two new screen protectors worth $50. He did give my husband and I the owners number. We called the owner. He said the same things. He did say we could pay $200 more, instead of $260 more, to exchange for the IPhone 12s. At this point we already paid more for IPhone 11s than IPhone 12s. We'd be paying $244 more on top of already overpaying for IPhone 12s in store than what we could have purchased them for in store. Steve was very nice during the sale. He was respectful during the frustration of this situation. Same with the owner. What I really did not like and why I will never be a customer of this location again, is the sneaky sales tactics used in order to make money.

The first time was when I unknowingly put thermal paste underneath my CPU and ruined my motherboard. So after I purchased a new motherboard, I was still having issues with the PC. I took it back to RizTech and they were able to fix all the issues that I was having. They are amazing people, and are very tech-savvy. Not to mention it's a small business! This is all after a friend of mine recommended them to me because she has been going to them every time she has any sort of issues with her Nintendo Switch, or other devices!!! Thank you so much RizTech!!!!

When I returned to the shop to get my refund, I brought the laptop. The owner, the day before, had had me try to log in after offering me the refund, but I had forgotten my password and needed to try at home. However, knowing I had to download over 200GB of files from OneDrive myself, I spent 45 minutes trying to log into Microsoft across my phone and three PCs, but could not. Tech A was cool toward my presence but listened and helped me get logged in. While the refund was processing, I opened the OneDrive box and noted out loud that it was asking to upload, but I needed to download. That is when Tech B snapped at me, saying, "YOU don't get that." He meant that because I was getting a refund, he wouldn't help me. I pointed out that even for the full fee, the shop had originally sent me home with zero instructions on how to log in or download my files. Up until Tech B's words, I was going to move on. As a senior citizen, that petty comment and his angry, dismissive attitude are what I will remember about this business. A sincere apology from the owner and the technician would make this right, but so far, they have chosen not to take that path. UPDATE: I formally notified the owner via email about this incident, and he chose not to respond or address his staff's behavior apparently. I took both of my computers to Ram Online in Brunswick, where they treated me with total respect and started the OneDrive download for free in under a minute.

Here is a copy of the text I had to send to family & friends: Our landline is now disconnected. The only calls we get are sales calls. $20 a month for sales calls. The 'V' number called no fewer than 5 times so far today. The other day it was a Robocall stating that they were Microsoft and my network had been comprimised. Can you please do something before I am forced to drop the mobile number as well. It was nice to have an emergency means to contact or be contacted. Back to the stone age as it will be ruined by a few. The 'DoNotCall Registry is a joke. I have placed our numbers on it repeatedly.

I have always remained loyal, always paid my bill on time, was the "Classic Sucker". For what reason I have no idea, I have remained loyal to a fault while they abused me at every turn. I had my cable, Internet, and telephone with them thinking they would show me some appreciation... No! That just gave them more options to arbitrarily raise my bill anytime they felt like it. And they certainly did do that. It seemed like every time I opened my bill there was some nonsensical increase without warning. Unfortunately, I'm not convinced any other carrier would be any different. So I feel stuck. Called customer service to no avail. They give you a bunch of double talk and no help at all. I have now cancelled my cable TV to get my bill under control. So, what did I find when I opened my May bill... a combined increase of 25% for the Internet and phone. Just can't win...
