Customer service at this location used to be outstanding and they had good deals. I went to the store twice this month and the same lady was so mean and unprofessional that I had to walk out the store and schedule an appointment with someone else later in the day. All I wanted was to get a new phone for my daughter and she said that my husband has to be present with the driver license. Well he is a nurse and works late plus I m on the account as well. I had done that before for our kids without my husband being present. I told her I would pay cash and she said he still needs to be there. She also mentioned that if other sales people did that in the store was illegal. I m so confused! All I wanted was a new phone and be treated as a customer. I had been with Verizon for many years. I went with a friend to another carrier's store. I got talked into signing up with them for 'free' phones. Obviously, there are no such things as 'free' phones as I soon found out. I went back to Verizon and asked for help in getting my service with them. Bryan at the Medina store was extremely helpful in getting me back to Verizon for a much better price and more data. Luckily, I was able to get out of the previous contract and 'free' phones due to being in the 'Satisfaction" period. I will only shop at this store and never leave Verizon again. read more

Holy reviews! While I will agree I have experienced some of the same issues posted by other reviewers the times I have visited this location have actually been pretty good. Please understand that I am coming at this from the side of a consumer and someone who has worked in sales for years so it is a balance. My husband and I have been to this location a number of times for new phone purchases, to pay our bill and to just stop in and pick up accessories. Truthfully there has never been a time that we had to wait more than 5 minutes to at least be acknowledged and that means someone actually coming up to us, saying hello, asking if we are working with someone and then disappearing to retrieve a sales associate. After that though, the pacing of the showroom floor can begin which at most I believe we waited around 10-15 minutes for our assigned associate to approach us. The store is nicely laid out and makes it easy to stay away from other shoppers while still browsing their device and accessory collection. I wish they would make their checkout counter almost like a bank with designated and divided areas instead of just a counter you stand on top of people at. I personally do not like hearing other people's personal information or sharing mine for that matter. What I will share however is the last trip to this store to pick up our most recent phones. When entering the store we were immediately greeted by a worker and asked if we were working with someone or if we needed assistance. We explained we wanted to use our upgrade to get new phones and were going to trade in our old ones. The employee said he would get an associate and we were free to walk the showroom floor. We waited only about 10-15 minutes until our representative came over, he was friendly, looked "modern" and was ready to help us. Again we explained our situation, he grabbed a paper to take down some notes (no use of your own devices in store?) and ran through some numbers of how much it would cost to go home that day with our new phones. It was a bit confusing at first, for us and him but he was only trying to get us the best deal and make the sale which I can appreciate. Once we decided that we were ready to make the purchase then the conversation turned to what other things could be dangled in front of us. From Verizon's location tracker thing, to additional services, a new Apple Watch I was interested in and so forth. At one point his push was so hard he started to be a bit insulting but then drew back when he saw we weren't having it. Again, it's just sales everyone has to do it and everyone learns the balance. Another thing I don't like is the fact that I have never met a Verizon associate who actually has the newest phone or device they can personally attest to. Our representative had an old piece of junk Samsung phone and even the first associate who greeted us was wearing an off brand watch device. A good way to sell product is by outfitting your employees to make them so cool you can't help but want to buy that stuff and be like them. Upon returning to the McDonald's style checkout counter he again tried pushing more accessories and then aggressively asking why we didn't want them. No means no man! He did however get us free cases and a screen protector for my husbands phone which was a plus. I will admit I have heard some employees be rude to shoppers and each other but usually it is the two way street scenario and the outbursts only happen because of misunderstands and stupidity from both sides. For us though, this isn't the worst store we have been to. We always get what we need with only minor hassle, the location is clean though in the hardest to get in and out of location and the staff has always been kind to us. read more

Went in to try out a particular phone. The nice gentleman with the iPad kindly tells us if we want help we're 7th in line.... We decline. Just want to see the phone real quick. Turns out it isn't operable, like half of what is there. The rest are surrounded by little huddles of people being helped by their private sales associates. Just seems so impersonal ya know!? I would like to apologize to the women who was forced to leave her personal conversation to help me with my new phone purchase. It was clearly a huge inconvenience and my husband and I were gravely concerned that we put too much of a burden on her ... I mean she wasn't even able to answer our questions or even look up at us when we talked to her! Don't go to this verizon if you want bad customer service, Its not worth your time the sales associate only thinks they know what they are doing when they only trying to see how far they make you wait. The staff makes promises they don't keep. If you Need help with any Problem Make sure you call the verizon Wireless customer service 1-800. Horrible customer service. Activated my fathers first smartphone today but didn't bother to restart or give any instruction on how to use the phone. I didn't go with him on this trip, and because he's older and doesn't know to ask those questions, they didn't bother to help him in understanding anything. They did manage to try to sell him on a bunch of over priced unnecessary items. If there was a way to give less stars, I would. read more

I never have the urge to review places because in the end, I can just shrug it off, but this was so abysmal, I could not ignore it. I came in tonight 5/22/17 at 7:30pm to see if I could get a new phone charger for my Galaxy S5. I know it's dated. Out of the three employees I saw up front, the girl who gave me a half-assed greeting at the door actually SCOFFED at my request, saying they don't have those anymore. The girl at the register then proceeded to argue with her right in front of me. "Uh, there are people WAITING on you!" "[insert name of actually good employee] told me to watch the door! Do YOU want to watch the door?" And after a silence, the girl who greeted me, straight up muttered: "Pfft, bye" and she left to go put on a phony smile for a customer left meandering around the store on the waiting list. Are you serious?! I've never been totally ignored and brushed off like that in ANY establishment. It was utterly ridiculous and belittling. It wasn't my direct customer experience, but the other girl was no good either. She treated the customer in front of her with so much incompetence, a politician would cringe at her fakeness. He was waiting like literally everyone else in this store always does, and she told him the price of the speaker he was looking at and proceeded to roll her eyes very obviously at his questions. It was downright disgusting how awful this "service" was. Props to the guy working there because he went on a wild goose chase for me, and he provided me a new cable for free. He was seriously great! His coworkers? Actual garbage people. If you can't service, do not have that job. I've never left a place so baffled. I hope they're both fired. read more

Walked out with no help for the third time. Always a wait and no employee is ever in a hurry to help. They do enjoy standing around doing nothing at this store. I used to love Verizon they were great now just a big disappointing wait. The parking lot sucks as well. read more

Avoid this store at all costs. Employees are completely incompetent. We got a "free" upgrade phone and signed another two year contract to activate it. No big deal, especially when we specifically asked them if this would increase our monthly bill to which the employee responded no. Sure as anything, the next bill was $25 higher than our old bill. When we went to the store to get it sorted out they refused to do anything to help us and actually tried to make us sound stupid for being appalled by this. Long story short, our free phone now costs us $600 thanks to their incompetence and unwillingness to make it right. Stay clear!!!!! read more

If there was a way to post minus stars, I would I do it. Got to the store early and still had to wait, though no other customers were there. Finally, the girl behind the counter ( I believe her name was Amanda) agreed to look at my phone....even though she had been busy on her own phone and obviously was in no hurry to help. She looked at the phone and made a snarky remark in answer to my question....I took back my phone and left. We have two phones coming out of contract....seriously thinking of changing providers.
