I went to this store to help my mom (a Verizon customer for 30 years) get switched over to her own account. We ended up with the worst possible luck. Will was the rep who "helped" us, or didn't help us. He said we had to call transfer services before my mom could upgrade her phone. So after being on hold and on the phone with the transfer services for over an hour. Will told us we must do this before she could upgrade her phone. So we did this and then got back with Will. Then he tells us we have to wait 3 months before Verizon will recognize the new account as a loyal account. He was very flippant with his responses. My mom has been a customer for 30 years and the number has been with Verizon the entire time. He was so rude and completely not customer service oriented that my mom stated that she mind as well just switch to spectrum and he shrugged his shoulders and said ok. My mom walked out on him and it was all I could not to absolutely cause a scene. This pathetic excuse for a Verizon rep should not work with customers, he is utterly useless. I walked out after my mom to calm her down. About 15 minutes later, I see him walk out the door to leave to go home. If he used his brain, which is in the lump two feet above his ass, then he could have passed us off to someone else that would have been more helpful. read more

Verizon home support and technical support were amazing and positive as they helped me disconnect and change carriers to their competitors. I was so surprised at the positive experience for a customer who was leaving. I was instructed on canceling my account and returning an iPad to the official store by their staff, located in Georgia. When we went to the store to follow the instructions, the staff at Verizon, Turkey Creek in Knoxville, TN refused to take the iPad because there wasn't an account to reference. I kindly explained that I was following instructions given to me by their customer support and account people. Chad (unknown name, because he refused to provide it stating "it doesn't matter what my last name is, they won't know who I am anyways") and the STORE MANAGER David Jarnagin (also refused to provide his last name, stating "we don't do that. I won't give my name out.") were dismissive and aggressive towards my wife and 6 year old daughter. They refused to do any research and made sure to let us know they've been treating people like this for almost 30 years of experience. They said, "I'll take it, but I can't/won't give you a receipt for this. They called the customer service representatives stupid and displayed racism by saying "they're all in India, anyways. They don't know what they're doing." I clearly stated that the helpful and positive representatives I had spoken to had conversationally mentioned that they were located just South of us in Georgia. They did not like my correction that all the customer service people were not from and in India, and began speaking very in louder and hostile tones. My wife and daughter waited while the hostile men printed a return label for FED EX without providing any help or effort on their parts. I intend to follow up on if the owner condones this behavior, rudeness and racism from the employees at this corporate Verizon location. read more

Felicia was great! Transferring my phone contents to my new phone was screwed up by the previous carrier. She spent over 2 hours on speakerphones bringing in Verizon corporate management and an actual technical expert from the previous carrier to find a way to fix the error! I'm rolling now! The only thing I didn't catch (nor did my daughter who also got a new phone, that we needed to register our glass screen protector! The previous carrier didn't require registration and I've never had to replace a screen protector before! Of course, 2 screen protectors have shattered in 3 weeks and require submitting a claim! I mistakenly tried to switch my coverage from Verizon to Visage, which is owned by Verizon. I was able to switch my number, but couldn't activate my account. I went into this store and got no service. Same service as most of these reviews. Guys standing around doing nothing and lied to me about the Mgr being on the premises. No help. I literally spent 3 days trying to get this fixed by myself on the phone. Unfortunately I'm still with the high priced Verizon but can't handle trying to switch to another carrier. Ugh. read more

After 23 years with Verizon I finally switched to TMobile. I didn't want to but I realized that new business is more important to them than treating me like I matter. So - the problem comes in that to receive the perks offered by TMobile which is mainly to pay off my devices I must provide the most recent itemized bill. They will only provide the total amount due but with no explanation of what exactly makes up that amount. I can no longer access my online account. The system sends me in a circle and always winds up in the same place. I have called Verizon. They are very nice but they cannot help me despite giving them all the correct answers to the security question. So it has been suggested that I go into a store. I don't know if this will help but it sure is a hassle as our local store is not a corporate store and that is where I need to go. I just need my most current itemized bill......why should that be so difficult? read more

All this store does is lie. I have been in 3 times 2 for myself and one for a friend because he thought he was getting ripped off which he was. First lie I walked in and they told me I couldn't add a Military discount on my account because they don't do it in in store. They totally can because on the second lie this is was they told us. Second lie my friend wanted to bring 4 lines over for the buy one get one, they told him the deal and he asked about his military discount, they said you only can add it if you put a tablet on your account.. 100% lie!! Show me where it says that in your promos or your OST?! Third lie I went in to get a charging cord, I get a discount on it and they weren't giving it to me. So I took the cord and went to the bill machine and surprise I got my discount. So make sure you are getting your discounts, because this store will not give it to you unless you check yourself. Just an FYI the managers support this because the manager backed up the employee saying you can't add military discount. Worst team of solution specialist ever, they can not sell, they slam people to meet there numbers. That's how they make there money selling tablets, hums, and jetpacks. Very disappointing experience. Been with Verizon since before it was called Verizon and have never been this frustrated. Was traveling and decided to upgrade three phones. First, done solo and at Sevierville went great. Other two upgraded were to happen at Turkey Creek location because they had the phones in stock. Stayed overnight in area and was there upon opening. Quickly greeted and began communicating with rep. First...he could not figure out other locations proposed upgrade where my bill would not increase. I decided to not upgrade. 2nd upgrade was pretty simple...buy phone outright for my mom. Made purchase of over $1k, then paid $30 to get phone activated and data transferred. The rep started the process and told us that this was like watching paint dry that we could stay or go. We left... 4 hours later after waiting for phone to finish transfer...I just left another store and have spent about 3 hours today on the phone w Verizon multiple times. The phone is now working but I basically did his job for him and still paid $30 plus commission on the sell. NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER! read more

if I could give zero stars I would. this store is a joke. I'm a long time customer with a very heavy concern. we bought a business and we're transferring the lines to our business account. We received several emails to complete the transfer but everyone we tried it said it couldn't connect to the server to complete our request. Then I realized that phone lines had been disconnected even thought the transfer request stated it wouldn't expire until the 15th. I tried calling customer service but it was closed. So, I decided to go to the Verizon store to get some in person urgent help. It seemed like something that was a reasonable thing to ask at a Verizon store. Nope! absolutely ridiculous! He couldn't/wouldn't help. said I had to do it on line. When I showed him what happened he just threw his hands up and said he didn't now anything about transferring lines. In his 5 years he's never done one. I then started to ask him if disconnected lines were bc of the transfer but he rudely cut me off and once again said he didn't know anything about transfers. I then continued my question for him to tell me to turn off my phone to see if it would work. our Business vitality relies solely on incoming calls so this is a huge concern!!! But no help from Verizon in store employees. He just gave me a phone number and sent me away. No attempt to see if there was another problem with my phone. Wow. I'm not sure if it's lack of skills or just laziness. NEVER going here again!! As our long-standing Verizon user my aging mother needed a new flip phone. We went to the Verizon store in Turkey Creek and was told they don't have flip phones. I would need to go online to find it. I told him she is a Verizon user and needs a new phone and he repeated we don't have flip phones here! He did not ask any questions about her account or plan. We found a good flip phone with another service and a good plan. Switching was a disaster. We bought the phone at Best Buy signing up with a new carrier but trying to keep her current Verizon number. Seven days later the number still did not transfer. Verizon was of no help at the store. After making the switch with a new carrier and number we went into pay the final Verizon bill and the person there said we could get a flip phone and looked up her account and said we could get it even with your reduced plan and reduced cost. However we already made arrangements with the new carrier. All of this took hours and hours when it could've taken minutes if service had even been average at the store. We remain with the new non-Verizon service. I have noticed ratings on this location are very very low and now I know why. read more

My previous phone died and I desperately needed a replacement immediately. I am an older female living in the country and this is my only phone. The store had 3 customers and 7 or 8 employees. The young man gave me the iPhone SE, told me he had ported my number from MetroPCS (another dog of a company), handedl me a page 'explaining' how to transfer date from an iPhone to an Android (the reverse of the instructions needed), and told me Verizon no longer transfered data. Confused I went home and called Verizon customer service, was told Verizon did indeed transfer data and tried to help me. However, in the middle of the call, the call dropped and any number I dialed sent me directly to a MetroPCS customer service line from which I could not reach a person. This was a Friday and I spent a total of 13 hours wasting my time on this nonsense. On Saturday I ordered an iPhone 8 from Sprint, had an appointment, spent a delightful 2 hours with Christian as he set up my new iPhone 8 and transfered all my data from my old android. The whole deal gave me a better phone and my monthly charge will be less than it would have been with Verizon. Wonderful experience at Sprint. When I took the iPhone SE back to Verizon on Saturday afternoon, the manager had the gaul to charge me a $35 restocking charge for a phone Verizon had never set up, I couldn't set up, and had none of my data on it. BTW, on Saturday Sprint had a full store of customers and Verizon had 2 customers...an indictment on their lack of service and respect for their customers, perhaps. read more

Matt worked with the management to get me the best deal and prevent me from doing much of the electronic work. So we have officially wasted at least six hours of our lives trying to coordinate phone upgrades and pay more money to these people. We tried to get phones on line, ridiculously complex, chatted with a rep on line for over an hour only for the wrong plan to be ordered and one of two phones arrive and then doesn't work. All that and we still have to come in here and wait for service. They are friendly enough but I am seriously disappointed. Update: Finally got the second phone only to spend another half hour plus on the phone with them because of set up snafu on their end. Again, nice enough rep, but I estimate at least six hours wasted for the privilege of spending almost $2,000 on phones. So, so wrong. read more

I ordered a phone for pick up and was out of town. The Verizon customer service rep. told me to just call the Turkey Creek store and explain the situation and it would be easy for them to extend the 3- day pick up since I had already paid for the phone. The Turkey Creek employee rudely told me that the phone order would be cancelled after 3 days, since it is an automatic program. I asked to speak to the manager on duty for Saturday, May 25th and he said the manager would tell me the same thing. I asked again to speak to the manager and was put on hold. I waited at least 30 minutes before getting "help", which came in the form of fiddling with my phone for a few seconds then announcing that I had to have a new phone. I've been told this is Verizon's highest volume store in the area. On two occasions I have gone there to resolve a problem with my phone. When you enter the store you are met by an employee who enters your name and phone number in a tablet. "You'll be called / helped soon". Both times our name was not called after a great deal of time. When we approached management we were told our name was not in the system. The first employee we spoke to was no help at all - "I don't remember you". I suspect if you aren't there to buy products and spend money you are forgotten. Now I always visit the nearby store on Kingston Pike. They know the meaning of customer service. read more

I had a problem with my phone that noone at my local corporate office had any idea how to fix and had no interest in finding out. I came to this store when was in town and spoke to a representative that said if I could bring the phone back she could help me, I should have got her name. The next time I was in town (2-3 days later) I came back to this store hoping to have my problem resolved. I was "greeted" at the door by a very bothered and immediately dismissive representative. My main problem was that I needed to transfer calendar/appointment information from an old phone to a replacement phone. This representative told me that the only way to do this was to physically "hand write my (2517 in one given 60 day span) appointments/events/tasks from one phone and then manually enter them into the other". After about two hours on the phone with Samsung TS, the problem fixed itself with an OTW update. Still, noone to this day can explain why but I doubt this representative had any idea, anyway. I will be returning to find the particular representatives name, so I can put a name to the face for Verizon and file a formal complaint. read more

DO Not Use this store. I purposely shop at the Verizon corporate stores for better support. I have been a Verizon customer for over 25 years and everything was good until this last purchase. I had a new female salesperson that helped me out in every way to get the sale. I was getting new phones for the kids and paid cash for everything in the store to keep my bill less than $220 per month. I had her double check, and she assured me my bill was going to be $215 to $217 per month. My bill came in it is $240 per month. Her mistake is going to cost Me $500 over the next 2 years. I have been on the phone with Verizon support 3 times, and the first two months they reduced my bill, now its flat out $240. I went to this store and talked to the general manager and resolved nothing. I believe the manager previously worked for the Carnival because all he could do is talk in circles, and the only way my bill was going to be lowered is if I took options off of my plan. While purchasing the phones we went over all plan options and fees, why should I now have to suffer for their mistake or lies. I guess the next time I make a purchase I will get something in writing, if that is possible. I will definitely be shopping other carriers in 20 months. Customer is always wrong. Thanks to the kind and polite service Verizon has issued $100.00 credit and offered an alternate phone at 50% off the price in an attempt to retain a customer. I'll pay more for good customer service, something you don't find at Verizon, at take business elsewhere, after all, I'm the customer, it's my money, I earned it, I'll spend the money on what I want not on what you want me to have. I called this location to verify the phone I want was in stock and the reply I received was "the only the I have is the phone I talking to you on." good leadership starts at the top and after poor telephone service, a one hour drive I walked into this location for more attitude from staff and a poor store manager wanted to help but wouldn't sell me the phone I wanted. I switched from At&t to Verizon about 3 months ago and it has been the worst decision, service over all is horrible and at my house which is 5 or so miles from the Parkside store the service is just about non existent. I ran a speed test and it was under 3 mbps download for both indoor test and 50 yards outside of my house and 0 mbps upload. I have chatted on messenger with Verizon folks and have pretty much been told I'm SOL that they looked into it and my area is considered to be a variable coverage area and i could purchase a booster but it is not going to change but yet when I look up my address on there coverage map it shows the same as the store with 4g LTE coverage. So why should I be paying for service that they have told me straight up they can't or will not be providing. I believe i have cause to terminate coverage with no penalties. So anyone in the Farragut area looking to sign up with Verizon I would look at another provider and all I can tell you is I never had issues with AT&T the only reason I switched was they had a better promo but in the long run I saved nothing because I'm paying for sevice I don't even get. read more
