On 6/20/25 my mom and I walked into Verizon totally unplanned. Shout out to Jodie, she was absolutely amazing and really took the time to help my mom and I out after the disaster we had at AT&T. We walked in and waited a bit nothing crazy and Jodie listened to our issues we had and offered us a great plan that suited what we needed. I've been thinking about this review since I first visited the Verizon store on 12/30/24 & first encountered Jodie. Just as I was being sent out of the store & given a phone number to call by another rep who was unable to help me, Jodie stepped in. Not only did she resolve my issue, she did it quickly & accurately. She's extremely knowledgeable, very helpful and can multitask like no one I've seen do in a long time. Not only was I able to accomplish what I needed to do she also introduced me to a great deal to upgrade & improve the overall cost of my entire Verizon account. Furthermore, she didn't just make a quick sale & leave me hanging. She has gone above & beyond to help me get everything in order. Verizon should probably think about a salary increase or even a promotion for Jodie. Great customer service is hard to find anymore but, I definitely found it in Jodie. Verizon and their Deceptive Trade Practices In October 2021 I was lured to Verizon by a promotion that offered my $800 for my mint condition iPhone 12 and $400 for my wife's iPhone SE...also in mint condition. That was easy math...I pay just $200 for my iPhone 13 and my wife $400 for a new 13 mini. We loved that low cost upgrade and no contract unlimited text, data and voice we opted in for. Add to this we gave them $400 for accessories. A few months in we realized that their claim of have America's best network was not really true. We had migrated from AT&T where we enjoyed really good 5G performance but and great 4G LTE. We found that Verizon concentrates on just high density areas for 5G and thus you use their LTE mostly and it is in now way comparable to AT&T's 4GLTE. They failed to disclose that...then again...why would they? We became impatient waiting for more 5G roll out and because there was no contract to keep us with Verizon and a network we were quite unhappy we we moved to T-Mobile who has their own towers and network. A couple of weeks later we can a thank your for your payment email from Verizon to the tune of $1,500!! Why? To buy out the new phone contracts. We were both confused and furious. How is it that we owe anything close to this as we were give $1200 trade on new phones totaling only $1800 that we had made payment on. When I went into the Verizon store that bilked me I was told "well sir you're not going to like the answer because when you left us you now we only apply a fair market value for you phone which is only $350 and charge you the difference." This is a deceptive trade practice. Offer huge trade in value while offering plans that allow you to leave without penalties as in the past. They in no way disclosed this during the onboarding process which took 4 hours because the agent helping us was there just only 4 days. Of course the manager said they did...but he did not consider the fact his "newbie" had incredible challenges just getting just in as customers. They rush you through signing digital boxes on their tablets and i guess they think somehow you know all the fine print contained therein. The manager was not only unhelpful he was apathetic. I had Verizon some 16 years ago and left because they had poor customer service, bad network, and poor coverage. I gave them a second chance and I assure you there will not be a third. read more

How do I give less than one star????? Was planning to travel abroad for two weeks and wanted an international plan. Walked into this retail store a happy Verizon customer, a month later I'm livid. For the International plan was told I needed to go from a "postpaid" plan to a "prepaid" plan, okay. Except they didn't tell me I'd be closing one account and opening another, losing my loyalty discounts and be unable to use a specific credit card to re-enroll in auto pay discounts. They said I'd have better cell reception when in fact I have worse and its taken me hours on the phone with Verizon to resolve these issues. Terrible customer service, don't recommend. After my visit to the Keene store, I got into my car and looked up the reviews on the customer service. My partner and I had such a bad experience in that store we both looked at each other in amazement as we walked outside. The sales person was, we both agreed, simply rude and snarky. It was one of those experiences that when you leave, you wish you would have said something when it was going on. Like perhaps, "you are being rude, could you bring it down a notch." Reading the other reviews I can see we are not alone. The company has responded nicely to each and every complaint. But what is being done about the store?! Am I writing this review for no reason? I stopped in here to buy a new phone and I must say that I am very pleased with the purchase and the help from the sales staff. You can't go wrong with the best network in America. I do not understand what these other negative reviews are based on the store. The staff in the store work of the parameters and prices set forth by corporate. Expect atrocious customer service. I came in for an overdue upgrade. There was an A-frame sign outside saying wait here, so I waited for a minute or two then noticed a second sign by the door that read come in if you do NOT have, and then a list of symptoms. I should say that I wouldn't be out if I was experiencing any sort of symptoms, so I proceeded to enter the store to then have an employee- Dave was his name, point to the door and YELL wait outside!! He then said they were short staffed and my fiance and I walked back out to wait for someone to call us in. An older veteran employee came out to assist us seconds later. That guy Dave, ended up helping me get a new phone. I should've left and bought my phone elsewhere, but I stayed. I chose my upgrade, made the purchase with impatient Dave walking me through the payment process. He then installed my screen protector and was flipping us off as he pointed to the warranty. I had a pretty basic question, he consulted his colleague, which made me wonder about name tag which read: specialists... so does Verizon just hire random unprofessional people and slap a specialist tittle and hope for the best? Idk... If you hate your job take it up with corporate, not customers. Oh, I should mention that the older veteran employee who let us in was openly trash talking some other customers who had just left the store to his colleagues in front of us. I bet they did the same to us. I will say that I read the reviews before coming to this store and wondered, how bad could it really be? Well I found out. Updating my review as the extra mercy star for this store being located in a small town is no longer adequate. I was forced to come back here as the other verizon store on West street is a not a corporate store, thus I cannot go through that store to do a trade in. Once again, the store basically has no extra authority than what you can do on your own computer, the sales person even admitted it himself. The whole time, we relied on the person on verizon's call center, again. The call center person had much better customer service than the sales guy, which tells you a lot. Because usually, working with the call center is a mess already. This store failed to tell me about a promotion that was going on when I specifically asked if there were any promotion. Literally the worst vzw store I've ever been to. It's small, dirty, and loud. I just went in there with my wife. All she needed to do was return a case and all the associates were ignoring us. They had multiple associates helping one customer and other associates that were just making small talk with customers. We were there for a half hour and didn't even get to make the return. They said they were too busy for it and no one even paid attention to us until our baby started crying. Do yourself a favor and go to the AT&T next door. I have been in this store twice before and had a good experience. However Thursday late afternoon, i went to Verizon in a very agitated state as my JetPak would stop connecting with my Square terminal, but i could get connectivity with my I Phone , both Verizon. This happened during a line of customers. So i assumed my jet park was at fault. First thing I was told by the Verizon Representative was that he was not trained in Square? After that everything i said was responded with a short confrontational answer. This was the worse example of customer service i have ever experienced.. The treatment at this store couldn't be better. Today I needed to set up a replacement Verizon phone I acquired online (swap sim cards with my destroyed phone and get through numerous and confusing set-up menus). I expected a big corp type runaround or $ fees for this - especially since I had to go for extreme economy on this replacement phone this time around. Instead, I received 15 minutes of eager, pleasant,and highly knowledgable service as the task required. I apologize for not noting the stellar young woman agent's name. This experience will keep me a Verizon Wireless customer. This location is now my preferred store where I expect to return for substantial biz in the future! read more

I actually give you zero stars because I had a truly awful experience. The "customer service rep" was NO help whatsoever! Trying to set up a new phone, email, etc. that I PURCHASED FROM VERIZON, and his response was, "Sorry I can't help you with that, go to an Apple store". Really?? The individual "helping" me was absolutely no help at all, he had a horrible attitude and was too lazy to be of any use. Extremely poor customer service. The worst store ever. Unfortunately, I've had to deal with them over the last 11 years and they always disappoint. Several years ago, I bought a new Verizon phone. Clerk took it, and my old phone, in back to set up. Lost my SD card and all my photos. Majority of clerks are consistently rude. One in particular is ALWAYS exceptionally rude, curt, obnoxious and completely useless (I welcome the opportunity to share his name with corporate). Had the misfortune of dealing with him again today with some issues, when I went into the store after six failed attempts to reach 611. The automated system constantly disconnected the call after my PIN was entered. Went in about two months ago to buy a new phone. Salesperson couldn't be bothered to answer any of my questions about features of Note 10. Bought new phone elsewhere. I can only assume that the incompetence and rudeness trickles down from poor management. read more

Bough a tablet that broke within a month after being dropped from a foot. they told me I had to pay a $150 deductible for a replacement. called Verizon and they replaced it for free. Probably the worst experience in a retail store I have ever had. It is very clear that this retailer has no concern for their customer's time. They keep you waiting for an unprecedented time, perhaps having enough staff on hand would be helpful. After waiting and being told that you are next to be seen, they drop me from the list for no apparent reason. When confronted all they could say is they could apologize, nothing more. Jacob spent quite a bit of time, going over my phone, trying to charge it, and had someone clean out the portal the charger goes into. This was the worst experience at a Verizon store. The 'check in' text said "no longer than 5 minutes" we were there for 45 minutes waiting. We needed to cancel the plan we had. Because MANY service issues. The Solutions Manager working Saturday 4/22/17 tried to tell us it was the "phones" creating the problem. (Three different S7 and three different google pixels. All the same SERVICE issues and he told us that it was still the phone and that it was like getting mad at the gas station because you have a flat tire. When it is in fact the service. Constant dropped calls, never receiving texts/calls. And many more is the service. They solutions manager continued to be incredibly rude and not understanding at all. Something should be done about his unprofessional behavior. I wouldn't recommend their service or that store. Rude service. No help at all. No understanding or a care in the world. read more

This Verizon did the unthinkable. They (Kayla, Sales Associate) allowed by ex Husband and daughter (none of who are authorized managers on my account) to make changes and an upgrade on my Verizon account and then SHE LIED THAT MY DAUGHTER SHOWED HER A FAKE ID WITH MY NAME on it. LIE! My daughter believed since she had a line on my account she could update my account and when KAYLA asked for ID, showed HER driver's license with HER name on it. My ex husband purchased in full the phone so there was no charge to me, but in no way had permission to access my account or to submit for a refund on the phone that I purchased. I have an extra layer of security on the account (a pin) that was NEVER ASKED FOR. I contacted Verizon and they contacted the store which informed me that this IS A PROBLEM AT SOME STORES. That Sales Associate's (KAYLA) gets a commission and don't follow the rules that VERIZON has in place. The manager of the store said retraining will be done. But I think she should be FIRED. Two layers of security were not followed. read more

My husband & I bought our first smart phone here. The Samsung Galaxy 6s edge was a beautiful device but we knew virtually nothing about how to use it. This Verizon store offered a free class that we, and one other woman attended. We expected to be in a separate room but were given chairs right on the salesroom floor, in the middle of the noisey display area! The "teacher" starts by saying "Do you have any questions?" instead of going through the important functions! We ended up learning very little and had to get help from our friends. Beware of the insurance offer! We paid $11. month extra for over a year and when the phone went through the wash, Asurion charged us $200. deductable for a replacement. My husband tries to get help over the phone with a salesman he likes but he can never reach the guy. Calls are rerouted to Verizon somewhere else. We're now having problems with the Hum device and are fed up with this store. read more

When you walk into this store, be prepared to be treated like a walking wallet. I left today (7 hours ago) with a new Galaxy S8 and a screen protector for it. The associate told me it was a "lifetime guarantee with free replacements". He seemed very confident in what he was saying so I bought it and had him install it. I get home, drop the phone, and the protector shatters and falls off the phone. I called the store and told them what happened. The man on the phone told me "it's because the screen is curved". I don't care why it broke, it's been less than a day. I asked the man if they could replace it and was told once the protector left the store I had to go through the manufacturer to replace it. I'd do that but the manufacturer wants to charge me $10 shipping. It's been less than a day. That is incredibly abysmal service. I let him know they wouldn't be getting my business any more. Had a older flip phone went in to up grade to smart phone. Went with a j3 Had to set up new pin # for account store told me new phone would be better a pulling in signal. Gave me a price of unlimited of about $82.00 a month. went home to set up my account and pin # did not work. Called store they said I had to come back and they could take care of it? I live 45 min. away Not sure why this could not be done over phone??? Tried phone at my house. Did not work until I was 50 feet outside my home. was worse then my old flip phone?? Decided to return it so went back within 24 hours. Waited to speak with Manager. The manager of this store was so unprofessional and rude I can not believe he is a manager let alone someone who works in the store? My 2 kids an I spent a great part of our weekend at that store and in the end I had to pay to return a week phone and they could not turn on my old phone nor did they the next day as promised???? Next day after work and trying to get my flip phone back on went to Verizon in Springfield Vt. Sales person turned my phone on in 10 min, Keen NH. store manager could have done the right thing instead of instigating the institution Called me the worst customer he has ever had berated and belittled me. While I was at the Keen store waiting and waiting and waiting there were 2 other people that had problems that left unhappy and stating I guess it's time to leave Verizon and go some place else.
