***STAY AWAY FROM THE KEENE, NH AT&T STORE DUE TO THE EXTREME UNPROFESSIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM THE STORE OWNER, PATRICK*** My unique journey with the Keene store began on Thursday December 18th, 2025. I was welcomed to the store by a customer representative by the name of Casey. I wanted to add my fiancé to my AT&T account and upgrade her phone as a Christmas gift. In order to upgrade my fiancée's phone Casey indicated that she would need to be present in the store in order to process a cancellation of her cell phone carriers service with a PIN number and other personal account information. In turn my fiancée and I showed up that Saturday December 20th and processed adding my fiancée to my account. As a Surgical Nurse I was able to add on a First Responder cell service to my AT&T account called FirstNet. This service would not only allow me to have unique cellular service during an emergency for first responders but it would provide a 25% discount on my bill. Casey was very helpful in assisting us in this matter and my fiancé and I left the store with not only a new phone but with the addition of better cell service that only AT&T has a government contract for. After setting up my FirstNet account, which was not easy to do, I found out that the FirstNet service did not work on my phone. I was on call for my hospital all weekend with an inability to receive or make calls. Thank God I had a phone in my call room for any emergency calls I had to respond to. When I had an opportunity to go into the Keene store which was on Friday December 26th I was referred to Patrick, the store owner. While Patrick was dealing with another customer he suggested I upgrade my iPhone 11's IOS as this would "take care of the issue 90-95% of the time" as indicated by Patrick. I returned home and downloaded the updated IOS hoping that the FirstNet service would work and I would finally be able to make anatereceive calls on my phone. No dice!! The upgrade did not resolve the issue. On my fourth visit to the Keene store I waited until I was briefly approached by Casey who even though he was with another customer was adamant in reassuring me that I will be helped shortly. After a short period of time Patrick came over to me to ask me if the IOS upgrade worked. I explained to him that it did not and Patrick instantly said my phone was not fit to have the FirstNet service due to a malfunction of the phone. I asked him if he could look at the phone and he said nothing could be done. There was zero attempt on Patrick's part to assist me by looking at my phone and only suggested that I have my phone looked at by Apple or upgrade my phone in order to have the FirstNet service. After Patrick was correcting me on how I said he suggested I upgrade my IOS to "it was a recommendation and not a suggestion" to not even looking at my phone I asked how much an upgraded phone would cost. Patrick said I could upgrade my phone to an iPhone 16 at the cost of an additional $12/month. After agreeing to this and enduring Patrick's customer skill of degrading and making the customer seem uninformed and stupid I agreed to the upgrade. Patrick went out to the back of the store and got a new phone and came back to me saying "it's going to take some time before we process your issue". After spending 10 mins or so with Patrick talking about my situation I would expect a closure moment to my frustrating situation considering my discontent in regards to my issue. Nope....Patrick quickly and rudely switched his attention to another customer who was being taken care of by another representative. After my disbelief over the fact I would need to wait longer to have my issue resolved after spending some time with Patrick in trying to resolve my issue I asked him why I needed to wait longer. He in turn responded: "I was dealing with an issue with this customer prior to you". This customer walked into the store 5 mins into my conversation with Patrick and was being helped out by another representative. Out of frustration I in turn responded: "Why am I now getting the f***ing run around"? Patrick, knowing he could help my situation by simply looking at my phone but was embarrassed that he did not know enough about his own cell carriers service, responded by saying: "You will not swear in my store. Go get some rest and come back tomorrow or I will call the police to have you removed". Stunned and sickened about how I was being treated I walked out saying I am done with AT&T and am going to cancel after being a customer for 20 PLUS years!!! I immediately went next door to Verizon, cancelled my AT&T service of twenty years and will receive Two new phones for free and pay literally 50% less a month than I did at AT&T. If I could give negative stars I would! This manager "Patrick" who refused to give his last name, is a terrible manager! 6/20/25 went to AT&T at 3:45 ish to get clarification on billing when manager Patrick came over to "help" and when he said we had no trade in phones on our account we questioned how that was possible when both me and mom traded in our phones. Patrick said we don't have them and if we could prove what phones we traded in he could help us. We stated how are we supposed to be able to prove it when we don't have the phones anymore and he proceeded to get very sarcastic and condescending with my mom and I. As we were walking out the door he said he could help us find our phones after telling us he could not. Told us our behavior was being recorded to prove how rude we were being. I told him I hope someone watches the recording to see how condescending and unhelpful he was being towards my mom and I. This all happened at the Keene NH branch by Walmart off Winchester Street. Since Patrick told us, he had no record of us trading in our phones this branch basically mishandled the trade in of mine and my mother's cell phones. I had an apple 13 Pro Max phone and my mom had an 11 Pro Max phone therefore we never received our trade in value of over $1000 for our phones alone that they're claiming they never got. read more

I went into the store because I was unable to open my phone. I was greeted by Patrick who told me he could not help and I needed a new phone. I purchased a new phone and was told they could not download my info and needed to go to Nick's (in Keene) so they could replace my screen. I went to Nick's in Keene and they opened my phone in 15 seconds. I was told to come back in an hour. When I arrived - they told me I was all set and good to go. When I left I was unable to make calls. I spent 2 1/2 hours on the phone with AT & T. The SIM card inserted at AT & T had been put in upside down. In addition to that I was told I could not buy the phone outright (which was published in the store with a price and $5.99 per month service agreement) but had to enroll in the $15.99 per month agreement. When they asked me to sign the invoice - the service agreement came up as $21.99 per month - which I refused to sign. After some investigation I was told it would have shown the discount to $15.99 per month when the purchase went through. BUYER BEWARE... read more

watch out for this store & its manager Pat especially. we had an email from AT&T confirming what our new monthly bill would be so we proceeded. we then got emails saying our bill was going to increase over $200/month. despite numerous texts from Pat saying the email was wrong and bill would be what we agreed to in store. weeks later he washed his hands of it and the bill is more than $200/month higher than what we agreed to in store & calling AT&T support multiple times has only had them telling us to resolve it in store and Pat refusing to do so. we've been AT&T customers for over 15 years and traded in phones at same store previously without issue but Pat wasn't the manager then. we've even found an extra brand new phone in the bags when we got home and returned it, thus doing Pat a huge favor + it was the right thing to do. wish i could give 0 stars. AVOID THIS STORE & PAT AT ALL COSTS. i wish someone had warned us. read more

I would describe this specific location as incompetent. They also lack integrity and throw their hands up in the air when they make a mistake and just say "welp there is nothing we can do." I upgraded my phone with them. They then proceeded to lose my trade in phone. So I went back because I was going to get charged by AT&T for not receiving the trade in. They gave me someone else's phone and then asked me to give it back still without locating my phone. I asked them about calling long distance and they put me on a long distance plan telling me I could call long distance for 10 dollars a day. I then received my month's bill and there were charges in excess of $500.00 for long distance. After hours on the phone with at&t service the charges were removed. I went back to the store to get on a different long distance plan that they assured me would be $7.50 a month with no additional charges. I then got my next monthly bill that showed additional charges in excess of $40.00 for 6 minutes of calling Australia. I will need to call at&t service to get these removed as well. Getting a new phone was supposed to save me my monthly phone payment, but since they lost my phone I am still getting charged for my new phone and have lost a total of 6 hours of my time and a lot of frustration trying to rectify their mistakes. This will cost me in total $800.00 that should have been paid for by my old phone that they lost. They answered for their incompetence not even with a "sorry" but a "there is nothing we can do," and threw their hands up. If they could get a 0 star rating, I would definitely click 0 stars for the last 3 months of ongoing headaches and time wasted on the phone and in the store. Austin is wonderful! He helped me open a new account and get a new phone. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and accommodating, even when he made an error. I have never had anything but excellent service from the employees, here. If you are technologically adverse, at all, they will get you through it. I sometimes stop in with questions that I'm probably supposed to ask the guys at the Apple store (an hour away), but they never mind helping me. I went into AT&T today with my wife in order to transfer our service and phone numbers from VZW. The experience was very good. Our customer service person was James. He was extremely friendly and helpful throughout the process. He took all the stress out of the process of transferring our service and phones. I have no complaints about this AT&T store. The iPhones we wanted to buy weren't in stock, but we didn't expect them to be due to the new iPhone 7 just being released recently. I recommend this store 100%. read more

My husband and I just went in to upgrade our 4 lines. Sara was great to work with and made the process somehow enjoyable! Very patient staff and there were plenty of workers there to help incoming customers. Everyone seemed very knowledgeable and they have a good in store stock of assorted phones and cases. The location is super convenient since it's in a plaza with Walmart, a grocery store, tanning, nails, Olympia store, and right near restaurants for a bite once you get your new phone! read more

By far the best retail reps I have dealt with. They won't tell you what is and is not allowed. They will work to find a way to get your plan or situation to work. Other AT&T outlets have tried to get me to sign up to a new account rather than perform customer service. read more

After reading several reviews for this AT&T location, I visited hoping to get some answers about phone data storage. The sales professional immediately came to me and asked me what I needed. When I explained that I wanted help with managing my data storage on my phone, I thought for sure he would me for a question or two before trying to sell me an newer phone. Much to my delight, he was able to address my questions and provide guidance to streamline my daily activities on my device. I was the one to bring up the question of updating my phone and once again, he showed me some options and reviewed the cost of an upgrade suitable for my needs. At the end of my visit, he gave me his business card should I have other questions or if I wanted to proceed with an upgrade. My experience with this associate was extremely professional, courteous, and helpful--unlike so many of the other AT &T stores I have visited in CT. & FL. read more

The employees in this store are ah-mazing... I have dealt with Sara and Matt, as well as SM Justin and AM Zac. All are very attentive to customer needs/concerns, extremely knowledgeable, more than willing to go out of their way to insure the customer has a pleasant experience. It's an AT&T store so there's not a whole lot they can do to go "above & beyond" for the customer but we've always had good experiences here & whatever issues we've faced have been because of corporate rules & the staff has always been kind & helpful to make up for it. I do appreciate the TV in the back of the store. Makes outings with the kids easier! read more
