Only two workers assisting people, manager (or person who was checking people in on iPad) spent most of the time in the back room, not helping. After waiting hour and 15 minutes, one of the workers went on break, which I understand and agree with the need for breaks. However, the manager should have stepped in to help customers. My 82 year old mother and I waited 2 hours without any assistance. I do recommend Verizon, I just do not recommend this location. Very poor management and customer service. read more

Our family purchased new phones from Diego Fernandez at the S Fry location in Cinco Ranch. Diego was beyond knowledgeable and was able to transfer all of our data from our old phones to our new ones with patience. I have sent a few personal emails to him with some questions and he is always quick to respond and has been so helpful. read more

Awful customer service... went in today completely prepared to discuss an upgrade on my phone, which I've waited quite a long time on. And the representative I got had more information probably on how she attached her eyelashes then on the actual phone. Not only did she not answer any of my questions but she turned around and made me go to the actual displays on the wall to get the information, which she didn't even put correct ones on display for comparison... How do you expect me to trust you to buy a phone, through you if you don't even know your own product... I'm doing like what everyone else has told me go to the one on North Mason it seems at least their people are a little more equipped to handle the questions then what I just got handed to me at the store... read more

Not even giving them one star but I have to. Was told twice I could bring in my replacement phone (that I did not break but was a manufacturer issue) and they could help transfer my stuff. Supposedly they don't do that anymore. 3 guys in there doing nothing and nope, not gonna help you. Bullshit. This was not an outrageous request nor did I give them grief over it, but when I go in with an issue with my new phone, order a replacement because my phone doesn't work like it should, and ask twice if when my phone comes in can I bring it back so they can transfer my stuff to my newer phone and am told "sure no problem", then just stick to your word. Trash service! Tried to buy a hot spot for my kid since she's home all the time now. I spoke to someone to let me in the store. They locked the door behind me! I was freaked out!!! They told me he'd get an sales associate out. This woman comes out with a terrible attitude. They do not want to buy anything! They are not hospitable! The woman rudely demanded I wear my face mask that I had around my neck ( I was in Houston) that was the last straw for me. I came in to give them my money, and they treated me like I was some diseased dog. Meanwhile she had a cloth mask on like that would prevent her from any sort of disease! I went in to buy a new phone. They asked for my name and phone number to save my place in line. I waited for 40 minutes and without saying anything to anyone, an employee came to me and said "sorry for the wait, you are next in line." Right then two more customers came in (new girl, new guy). Ten minutes later the same guy that told me I was next in line started assisting the new girl. Another ten minutes later they started assisting the new guy. I said "20 minutes ago I was told I was next in line. Am I still on the list?" They asked my name, checked the list and said "no." I'm typically relaxed, but I was so pissed, I walked out. Now I'm having issues ordering the phone online, and the online chat agent is just as incompetent as the a**holes in this store. read more

Sassy big guy with attitude needed a policeman to protect his stupidity! Asked him to turn down Hum so we could converse-nobody there but me. My spouse chose to go with Consumer Cellular as there are no contracts and no overages and costs much less but Verizon blocks the porting over - transfer of data to new iPhone- 7 hours now, still not working. I've been with Verizon for over 5 years. And this location is by far the worst I've ever experienced. We came in to do a manufacture warranty replacement on an iPhone 6 Plus... not only did they could not figure it out, they instructed my wife home to do her own back up at our desktop. I had to come back in again to get them restore the contacts. They had the audacity to tell me to go to the Apple Store to get this problem resolved..... after 30 min of poor customer service, the rep luckily got it done. On top of it, he stated to me "how bout you buy an accessory" "I helped you out, how bout you buy an accessory and help me out" wtf is this? I didn't know this was hustle? As if my $160 monthly tab wasn't enough. Poor Poor customer service! This place needs actual professionals that has actual expertise in the mobile phone service and not hire unqualified personnel that had no idea what they are doing.. I was really shocked with this Verizon store. The store itself was nice, but the representative we got when we came in the store was awful. He had one of the worst attitudes I have ever seen. I was disgusted by his interaction with me in front of my girlfriend. I wish I could recall his name, because management should look into removing this employee. The second time I came to the store that same day, I made sure to get another representative. His name was Timothy, and he treated us very well. If it wasn't for Timothy, I would have given this place one star. Thank you for redeeming our experience Timothy, but I still have to give two stars due to the other employee. read more

Deceptive.. Purchased an iPhone X a few months ago and received a "free" iPhone 8. After asking very direct questions in regards to the program I was assured that I could cancel the line at a later date with no penalty. This is not the case, and I am on the "hook" for maintaining an extra line or I don't get my free credit towards the monthly payment of my "free" phone. I have been with Verizon for years. If I could give this zero stars I would. Worst customer service experience I've had in a long time. Funnily enough, I had the same salesman as the above reviewer (Tim). And while we were given confusing information, were pressed into signing a contract despite it being apparent Edge (no contract) was better for us, and being talked down to a bit, the manager of this location was worse. She was rude, hid in the back most of the time and talked to us like we were two. This store refused to provide a written, filled out contract for us to view PRIOR to us having to sign anything and they made us feel stupid for asking and not simply signing first and reading later. We walked in to switch four lines from AT&T and walked out solid AT&T customers. I'll take signal that's a little spotty over the horrid CS we were met with at this Verizon store. It took over 2 hours to try and GIVE THEM our money. I can only imagine how hard it is to solve a PROBLEM with these people. Horrible experience. read more

This location gets the highest reviews by many valued customers and new customers. Unfortunately, everyone cannot be pleased. Many customers come in to the store purposely to give reps and managers a hard time by making outrageous requests. They work hard to make their customers happy and it's unfortunate that people put so much time into writing negative reviews that the majority of the customers are too busy spreading the word to their friends to come and visit the store where the reps and managers go out of their way to make their customers happy. I'm surprised by the bad reviews. I've had great experiences at this location. I always deal with Art. Thankfully he's always been helpful and remembers us when we walk in the door. It does get very busy in there so that can be frustrating. The manager is also kind and will speak to you regarding any issues. Verizon has lost their touch. I hate saying this bc that means there's no one better in town. Unless you need a simple phone reset, don't come here for phone tech help. They ask you to go to Best Buy for Samsung phones and go to Apple directly for iPhones. I have purchased over $3k in products here and I'm surprised that they no longer service phones here (all Verizon stores). You have to have it shipped out for service. What century are we in that it has to be mailed in like the good old RadioShack days?! I'm really disappointed and I will not be updating my review until they reduce their store size to save on rent and utilities so they could afford a service rep!!! Also, I'm not a huge fan of the store layout. Feels cold and there's no privacy, I'm not asking for a changing room, just don't want people overhearing my phone number or such. Be aware they have a security guard at all times at the front door, which I understand and appreciate. Be sure to check in on the iPad at the entrance to be cared for. Don't forget they sell accessories at FULL retail price. I know this review is all over the place, however, I can't forget to mention that the sales men have zero interest in ACTUALLY answering your questions.
