She went in there to request assistance about how to pay, and NO ONE tried to help her. She was told it was a $45 minute wait, just to have a questions answered. Never in MY life have I been treated like this at any store in my entire life. I came in with a FROZEN PHONE SCREEN. I was talked down to like I was stupid, completely manipulated by the associate into believing the ONLY WAY- to resolve this issue was to get a brand new phone line and a new phone. He even argued with me when I told him how crazy that sounds. Then, at the end of the appointment he sends me to assurion - literally 2 minutes down the street in hopes he could get the phone deemed irreparable. NEVER told me they were even there until AFTER he got his sale. Well ASSURION associates were very honest and genuine people at Assurion and told me not only would my phone be fixed, I was not going to be responsible for $300 billed to me by Assurion because since my phone was frozen, that was covered under my insurance because FIND MY by Apple couldn't be turned off. They fixed my phone and I can back to Verizon and told them how wrong it was to scam a young 36 year old homeschool mother of 4 who is no longer tech savvy into getting a sale for the associate rather than genuinely helping the customer. I SPENT 6 hours doing this and all my kids were home alone running back and forth to Verizon and assurion. To top it all off the assistant manager Derrick argued with me and somehow tried to convince me that I was wrong and talked to me extremely rude condescending. Then other women chimed in and talked to me completely disrespectful calling me a liar. I was completely GANGED UP ON AND BULLIED BY ALL 3 of them. I left in complete tears. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS STORE AND WILL MAKE SURE EVERYONE I KNOW GOES ELSEWHERE. We have been with Verizon a LONG TIME. The manager acted like he was annoyed with me, completely unprofessional and never once apologized. Please tell me how you come in with a frozen phone screen and come out with an new phone line and phone as the only way to fix it. Nothing But a CON JOB. Went to the store to by a new device. There was a discount only available to me online so the rep said to order it online and set it for in store pick up. They take my phone to set it to pick up the device from the location which doesn't seem like a problem. The only problem is they actually completed the order off my phone without even giving me the chance to review what they did. I never got to see what the total price was, and there were multiple options they selected without even asking me. I had no clue they could even do that without me confirming the order at the end it amazes how anyone would think that's okay. read more

Phenomenal service! I have been a Sprint customer for over two decades, and with the merge of Sprint and T-mobile, I have not been satisfied with the service. I was hesitant to switch to Verizon, but Anthony was such an amazing Verizon representative that, not only was the switch painless, I am extremely satisfied with my change of service. I came here a couple of weeks ago to buy. New phone and the customer service was great. I was slightly irritated in the beginning because the wait times were so long BUT the sales associate's positive attitude and great customer service really changed my mind. They ended up talking me into a cheaper phone than the one I selected and it was the best choice. (I believe the associate's name was Jose.) They suggested the bundle package which included a portable charger, wireless charger and phone case. A good deal in my opinion. All the necessary items to get started with a new phone. Overall the trip ended up being well worth it and I left with everything that I needed. read more

Just to let y'all know. They close at 5 so unless you don't work 9-5 there's no way of making that. They also only allowing one person in at a time and you MUST wear a mask. Which made it so difficult if you want to switch your husband's line to your line. Only one person can go in? Like what the heck. We get it... we're in a pandemic but we're in phase 2. I have been is several times and always get good service but Monday I got exceptional service from Abby. She helped me figure out how to work my phone that I have had for 4 years and still had trouble figuring out how to screenshot, find it and delete it. It's all about sales....They said you get a free Apple Watch and a free tablet with this package and then the bill comes....No promos on the bill. So frustrating and then you have to spend so much time trying to get things fixed. Of course, they don't answer the phone either, so you have to call the main verizon number and unfortunately, that representative has to deal with the lies that the store told. Horrible. read more

On Oct 4th, my mother went to the Corporate Verizon Wireless location at 1670 Western Blvd in Jacksonville, NC and purchased a new iPhone. Four days later on October 8th, my mother went back into the store because she was having difficulty with her new iPhone. She struggled to find pricing for each phone on display until eventually asking an associate for help, where they recommended a Samsung Galaxy Note10+, costing roughly $400 more than the iPhone she came in with. Not only did David(the salesman) pressure her into buying a phone well out of her budget when phone prices weren't being clearly displayed, he added on bundled accessories that she unknowingly paid for. She struggled to set up her new Galaxy and was rushed out of the store by him. This is a pretty bad customer experience, but it gets far worse. On Oct 9th, a day later, my mother returned to the store to bring back the accessories and exchange the phone since it was still in her 14 day grace period. I had called Verizon's Customer Care line to ask if she'd be able to do this beforehand, and the woman I spoke to assured me she could simply exchange it for a different phone. I told my mother that if there were any problems, to please call me and I would talk to the store. She went to the store, he wouldn't accept the phone back, and she handed her phone to him with me on it. In a heated exchange, Chad Davies, who was the manager handling this, responded that she couldn't exchange the phone, he refused to look at the note that the Customer Care rep added to our account less than an hour before, got upset, and slammed her phone down violently towards her and refused to help her or talk to me. This is unacceptable and should be grounds for release from Verizon. Chad Davies' violence towards my mother left her shaking and terrified to be in the store. After this happened, my mother went to her car out of sheer terror with me still on the phone. I convinced her to go back inside and look for help from another employee to get this figured out. After waiting 15 minutes of no employees being available due to other customers, she interrupted a different employee, told her what happened and the employees response was, "Who? Oh, really?" and proceeded to tell her that someone would be with her as soon as they were free. My mother waited until 15 minutes prior to closing at which point I told her to go home and I'd take care of it over the phone. After calling Customer Care for a second time, I demanded to speak to a supervisor or the legal team and they put me in touch with a very kind supervisor who was completely appalled at Chad's & the rest of the store's employees. She mentioned many times how disgusting it was that they treated my mother like that and even agreed that my mom shouldn't go back to that store. She confirmed, once again, that she'd easily be able to exchange the phone for another, but to make things easier, she processed a shipment of the phone she wants to her home instead and we closed the situation out. Chad Davies, David, the woman who refused to help my mother after being harassed by Chad, and the rest of the employees should be held accountable for these actions. The Customer Care folks were nothing but respectful and helpful. I'm requesting that Verizon Wireless contacts me directly about this situation and to relieve Chad Davies of his role at Verizon immediately. He has shown a history of violence and sexual misconduct in the past and this very likely won't be the last time he's violent towards a customer. read more

I went there this past weekend and was met by a security guard at my vehicle asking me why I was there. I told him that I needed a new phone. He went in and brought a sales representative (Angela) outside. After I told her what I needed they let me into the building. I didn't mind wearing a mask, I wear one everywhere anyways, but I wasn't allowed to touch anything. Angela had no personality whatsoever and was just there to sell me something. I am not a tech person at all and needed help with setting up my phone. She refused and handed me a pamphlet. She stated that they do not set up any phones and will not touch any phones. They used to do that. They set up my husbands phone just a few months ago. I asked her about a voice mail that my father left me just before he passed away and if it will transfer to the new phone. She just said she didn't know and that they cannot transfer it or set anything up. It is the last time I heard my father's voice and I wanted to keep it. She just put my stuff in a bag and walked me out of the building. I was so stressed and upset, I called my daughter and cried. I have no idea how to do this. I am an older adult and I know this sounds silly but I do not understand this stuff and needed help. After I got home, I called the Verizon store on Yopp Rd in Jacksonville. I talked to Marisa and she was so amazing and told me to come by and she would do everything for me, not to worry. I went there and she set everything up for me and saved my father's voice mail. WHY couldn't the other store do that. I will NEVER go there again. If you all need anything, go to the Verizon on Yopp Rd. They are amazing, they will get 10 stars!!! read more

So this place is totally not customer friendly. I generally call verizon direct to handle everything. I had to go to a local location because i had to show proof of something. Holy crap the people I usually call said they hear the same thing that no one likes to go to the actual store because of bad customer service.
