Went it to set up phone after switching from ATT and the employees said there was nothing they could do and that I had to wait multiple days for my phone to set itself up with internet. The employees clearly don't give a shit and do their best to lie so they can get paid to do nothing. I'd fire every last one of them. The associate that helped us at this store was horrible at explaining everything. We knew more about the phones than they did. They couldn't even explain how they were billing us... made a payment plan without explaining it to us, when we wanted to buy the phone outright. They didn't explain the trade in process at all. They told us we'd be able to trade in for a few phones, then took it back, told us we could only trade in for the newest most expensive phone. Very confusing time, I would not recommend this store. We have been coming here for years and we've never had a good experience here. Seems like no one is trained to answer the questions they need to. Brought over 4 lines from T mobile and had two of them switched over at this store. The other two lines were switched over at another store by my family members where they were offered the promotion of $1000 rebate for trading in their current phones which they accepted. Once we heard about the promotion, we went back to this store (only 2 days later from switching over) and asked if we could have the same offer. We were told that it was too late because we were no longer a "new line" even though it had only been two days. When we asked why we weren't offered the promotion two days earlier we were told we should've asked and it's not their job to tell us about all of their promotions. Not sure what people are complaining about. I had always stopped at this store since 2020 from the beginning of when I switched to Verizon. I always had great associates assisting me. Recently this month, I stopped by two times and both times, I was helped by Maryam. She's great and answered all the questions necessary, helped me bag a new phone for my mother and put in a screen protector on two phones for me. read more

No wait mid-week, patient and friendly service, and I made some progress (the settings aren't as intuitive, or wide-ranging, as you would hope.) Otherwise, seems like a typical Verizon. Horrible experience waited 2 hours just to get help manager and workers were all hiding behind the counter to avoid doing any work, finally got help after asking 5 associates for help on activating service for my little sister, no smiles no greeting and no explanation of any product. Learn from my mistake and avoid this store. They charged me a $40 activation fee for my tablet yet no one warned me about it and it's not in my paperwork. I informed the sales rep that I wanted to replace my Kindle with the Galaxy Tab and it would be wifi only. She should have never set it up for a data plan but she did and charged me $40 plus $10 per month for access plus $10 per month for insurance. They charge you a $30 upgrade fee to buy a new phone. I was not in a contract and simply went in to buy 2 phones and a tablet. I was charged $30 for each item. I have no idea what the charge is for. I took my phones home and did the transfers from the old cells to the new ones and I mailed the old ones in. I guess they charge you to shop there. Also, they were deceptive regarding their Zagg screen protectors. The sales rep said it is a one time fee and you get a lifetime warranty. What she did not say is the item is terrible and broke twice in 1 month. To get a replacement you have to pay $5.99 shipping and you have to pay to ship your broken one back or else they charge $35. She didn't inform me of this detail or I would have not bought it. You can buy a less expensive and better screen protector on Amazon. read more

Only interested in selling not too interested in helping. I have been with Verizon exclusively since 1991, let that sink in. I purchased an IPhone 7 from this location less than a year ago as well as several other apple devices. I did a recommended update from apple and the phone crashed. I was trying to avoid a trip to the apple store at Easton. The Verizon store was empty except for two employees that greeted me. Upon showing him what my phone was displaying he simply said "It's fried you need a new one."! I asked if he was sure cus he didn't even touch it let alone hardly glanced at it. "Sighing, yup sir it's fried." Well off to apple I went and here I am delivering this poor review from my phone now working. All it needed was a reboot that I did not know you could do. read more

Reviewing service providers like AT&T, Verizon, etc. is almost a futile matter, but after seeing that this particular location had such bad reviews I had to step in. Reason is that Hadeel, an awesome manager at this location, was able to help me switch from AT&T to Verizon while I was TEXTING her on the phone. I was stuck in a meeting in Chicago but had to take care of the switching business after an insane increase in service from AT&T. She helped me out without question, got my numbers transferred, and after my plane landed, I headed straight to this Hilliard office and I picked up my new iPhones. Service here (at this particular store) is absolutely AMAZING. Yes, most providers are and will be a LOT nicer to you when you're in a mode of becoming a customer, rather then when you need help, but I'll tell you one thing - AT&T sucks however you look at it. I've been to this location twice to buy a phone, the first time i went there they did not have what i needed. So i said okay i will wait a while, Np. The second time the service was horrible. The guy was a straight ass to me and started arguing with me in front of other customers outside the building. Talked to me like i was 4 yrs old. told me i had to go to the other side of town if i wanted service. The district manager needs to step in on this and deal with this guy. Went in to replace faulty SIM card in my tablet. When they were done, my account was completely reset, lost all partner discounts, and monthly price went up $20. "Nothing they could do," was their response. Took almost 2 months to get account straightened out & discounts back in place. No back-dating allowed, they said. Been with Verizon for over 13 years. My experience with Verizon Wireless in a Nutshell I can't even find somewhere to send an email to corporate on the website. My experience attempting to disconnect my service from Verizon was terrible. I wanted to change services due to financial reasons and I have been a loyal customer for 2 years with my own contract, and many years with the family plan. I asked an agent and the customer service team on the toll free # if I had to do anything after my two year contract ended to have the billing stopped and I was informed no. So, I waited for a bit but then decided I wanted to make sure the service was really disconnected. I went into the store where they told me they can disconnect my phone, yet since my monthly plan billing date went to 6/18, I would still have to pay for this monthly bill. This was the start of the problems. They said due to my contract I signed 2 years ago, and I am not sure who remembers the terms from 2 years ago, that it switches to monthly. However, two people told me that the contract would end on the very last date of the yearly contract. So, I asked the store rep if she could disconnect everything since I already switched to Straight Talk. She advised that that only customer service on the phone could help out and their computers were to slow to help out that day. So my first of many calls to Verizon, the agent had no idea what my situation was although I explained it three times. She kept asking if I wanted to switch to a different plan. So, I called another time where an agent informed me that since the contract switched to monthly, I had to pay the bill. Although upset at this, it wasn't even the beginning of all the misinformation, poor customer service, and pretty much lies. I called another time and spoke with an agent named Terrell. I asked if he could suspend the service and disconnect the device. After a 40 minute conversation, with 20 minutes of being on hold while he checked with the supervisor or something along those lines, he guaranteed that my phone was disconnected and only 3 days would be charged since the line was suspended. After not feeling comfortable that he did what he said he would do, I contacted my old phone number since I had a new # when I switched services. It still went to my voicemail and there was not any indication online through my account that the line was suspended. Thus, I called the next day and spoke with an agent who informed me that there is no possible way that the phone line could be suspended but she would switch me to a low monthly plan. Still not satisfied with this resolution, I called and asked for a supervisor. The agent named Rachel informed me that she can do whatever a supervisor can do and stated it would be a 40 minute wait for a supervisor. This agent said she suspended the service and the phone line would disconnect on 6/18. I checked my account online and this was true. I called again because my checking account was withdrawn for the full billing amount and the prior agent stated this would happen, and then a refund would occur. I wanted to check to make sure I was going to receive a refund and I was connected with a supervisor. We spoke for an hour and she kept saying if the phone line was suspended before the disconnection, then I would receive a refund. However, if the phone line was disconnected before it was suspended, then I would not receive a refund. I told the supervisor that since I was guaranteed that the amount would be refunded regardless, it should not matter the order that the line was suspended and disconnected. She kept saying it is against the policy and I thought it was shocking that Verizon would go against their word of guaranteeing that I would receive a refund. Why would I have to pay for the full amount for a monthly billing cycle that I did not know at first would occur, then was informed that the line was suspended and there would be a refund? Eventually, the supervisor stated she would make sure I would receive the refund and she would call on the next Monday when she could see the monthly bill (since for some reason the company cannot see the bill until it generates). She even stated she would call me to make go over the bill. I called that Monday evening and I left a voicemail and never heard anything back. I checked with Verizon two more times to make sure the refund will come through because I could not trust the company since I heard so much different information. The funny thing is the customer service agents and the supervisor stated they wanted me back as a customer, yet they seemed fight their own word of guaranteeing the refund when I had done nothing wrong. They were more intent on their policy and not owning up to their misinformation and mistakes. It should never be this hard to disconnect a service, especially since I made all my payments on time. Traded in 2 phones (valued at $170 in the store) in December to upgrade to the newer model. It is May and we still have not received the credit for the 2 phones. Have called and live chatted repeatedly and still no credit for our phones. Every time they just say they will make sure it comes off our next bill but it hasn't happened. I would be very careful about trading in phones here. Also they told me my bill would only increase by $7, which was true for a month, and then somehow after a month it increased by about $30/month. Probably the last phone we will buy from Verizon. read more

Make the trip to Stringtown or Tuttle, this store is HORRIBLE in terms of customer service, and the manager (Jeremy) is a smug you know what - hole. I was eligible for an upgrade, and somehow ended up in an Edge contract, which is a load of BS - the whole situation was shady, and when I got my bill and called customer service - who agreed the whole thing was wrong, and FIXABLE, said I could only get the situation fixed through the store manager, where I signed up. So, I explained the situation to smug ole' Jeremy who not only called me a liar, raised his voice at me, talked to me as if I were an imbecile, and of course refused to fix my situation. I will NEVER, EVER, EVER buy a Verizon product again and when able (tax return), will take my business elsewhere. The Edge plan is entirely shady, and they get people locked into their "contract-less service" through a contract to buy a phone. At full price. One month ago I was delivered a replacement IPhone 7+ per my insurance coverage. The delivery was quick and seamless. I received my phone the same day along with setup instructions from the delivery associate. I am overall pleased with Asurion's replacement process. However, the new phone I was given is in worse shape than my previous one. The camera hasn't worked since day one. The flashlight hasn't worked since day one. One month in and my phone shows "No Service" and will not allow incoming/outgoing calls or texts. This morning I contacted customer support via 1-800-922-0204 only to be hung up on and prompted to use the text support feature. Okay. I explain my issue to "Tim." We speak for 2 hours for him to come to the conclusion that my phone has no service. Mind you I included "my phone is telling me I have no service" in the very first text message. Way to go Tim!! Had you strung one sentence together without a grammatical error, I would have maintained my confidence in your ability to understand my problem. Tim then tells me he can send me a new phone in 3 business days or pick one up in store today. As I run a business primarily from my phone, 3 business days will not do. I then drive 45 minutes to the nearest Verizon branch to be told "we don't have phones in store, I can send you one in 3 business days" I politely agree to my only option and exit the store. Today I have wasted 5 hours of my time speaking with incompetent representatives and running around trying to solve an issue that could have been done over the phone. My request is that Verizon better train their customer support / technical support staff. Auto generated and pre formatted replies get your customers nowhere. read more

Called to see if they had a certain phone in stock, they said "yes'. I drove 30 miles to the store to see the phone. Salesman said "We don't have one on display, but I have one in back, I'll go get it". So far, so good. Then a second salesman came over and started asking me personal questions, like phone number and drivers license. I said "What? Why? Who are you?" He said he had to log me into the system and verify that I am who I am. I told him that Im only there to LOOK at a phone. I'm one of those people that wants to see what I'm buying FIRST!! Wow am I crazy or what? Then the actual salesman came out with the phone - new in the box. He told me that if I open the box, I will be charged a $50 fee, for OPENING THE BOX, if I didn't buy the phone. I said "Are you serious? Who buys something without being able to see it first?" He said people buy phones there everyday without opening up the box. BS, I don't believe him. I just politely handed the box back to him and said, "you just lost the sale", and walked out. I previously gave this place an awesome review but things have changed. While I still really like my phone, my charger broke after only 2 months. Since I paid a decent amount for the accessories pack, I took it back. They told me that it wasn't the cable, it was my phone. Funny, other chargers were working fine, just not my new one. They didn't act like they wanted to replace the charger, but after complaining for 10 minutes, they gave me a new charger to shut me up. Having been a customer of Verizon for over 15 years this last visit made me question my loyalty. I have never had an experience at this location that made me feel warm and fuzzy but the most recent experience has guaranteed I will not be back. The associate that "helped" us was rude and seemingly had no clue how to do her job. We went there to upgrade our phones. She pushed us to buy a 75 dollar bundle and when we said we weren't interested she got an attitude and took us over to pay. She tried to run my debit card without telling me how much or what the charges were I was paying for. She didn't tell us how much the phones would be monthly and when I asked about the "back to school" deal they were running for the particular phone we were purchasing she said they did not honor it in store, just online even though they had the poster of the deal on their window at the store. Needless to say we left without buying anything and went to Best Buy where we got a wayyy better deal, less "fees", and 100x better service. NEVER AGAIN! Please save yourself the headache. read more
