I bought outright a new phone. Paid for! Bill went through the roof. Called Verizon customer service. They removed one thing i was over charged for but the rest of the " extras" I was told i needed to argue with the Green Valley store over. I don't recommend this business. This location cost me time and money. Transposed my email address so I was locked out of the portal. Told me that the internet box was free. Did not return the box correctly to Verizon. I will now wait 6-12 months for Verizon to investigate and to be given a refund for $500.00. Verizon can see a refund but something was done incorrectly at the store level. There is much more. Staff needs training, supervision, and a lesson in sales ethics. If you want to deal with Verizon go to a company owned store. It may be better. read more

I was a good customer for over (10) years who always paid their bills on time. I left when my cell service was not as good due to the area that I moved into. But when I cancelled my services Verizon played games with me for the last couple of months, making my billings higher than normal and saying that I never cancelled when I said I did. I went into Green Valley store to have my older I phone looked at. the speaker would not come on. Luis took my phone put it aside and tried to sell me Verizon's home service. He told me once we had everything set up then he would show me how to fix my phone! needless to say I am not using the speaker on phone. I will never go back into this store again. This was on Jan. 17, 2025. My carrier is Verizon as long as this phone works for talking and texting etc. then I will go elsewhere. read more

Beware of what you are told in this store! A rep named Pablo told me I could add insurance for my Google watch and phone for $7/mon. When I got my bill it was $49/month. I called Verizon and they could see where I was given false information on an order form from this salesman. They apologized and made an adjustment to my bill. The same salesman also did not mention that if I file a claim on my watch, it costs $99 to get a replacement. A year ago I was also given false information about receiving a "free" watch and phone. By the time I realized they were NOT free, it was too late to make changes. I would not recommend doing business with this Verizon store!! read more

WATCH OUT. You could get talked into devices and plans you do not need! My parents had a terrible experience at this store. They walked in asking for advice on their cell phone and the reprehensive upgraded them to a Business Account, had them buy a Pixel phone, Gateway system and a Home Phone. Sadly, they were taken advantage of and walked out of the store with over $1,000 worth of products. When they tried to return the equipment, they were told they were not able to. The service continued to worsen with the more help they needed. This has been an ordeal for my elderly parents. I reached out to the district manager and sent a very nice email asking for support but that email sadly went un noticed. read more

My cell service constantly drops and the internet is non existent at my location and we were charged hundreds of dollars for canceling a service that was not even provided. I had gone to another Verizon store earlier in the day where they could not help me with my phone, so I decided to go to another store to see what they could do for me. I recently changed phones from a 3 year old Samsung Galaxy J7 V to a Samsung Galaxy A50, and had problems with content transfer, specifically moving 2019 texts from the old phone to the new phone. I visited the store on Nogales Highway where I waited for almost an hour for someone to help me, then was treated very rudely and left without the problem resolved. The store on Continental was like a breath of fresh air. Bianka was so nice and so helpful; she was very knowledgeable and had the transfer completed in no time at all. I highly recommend Bianka, and this store, to everyone. This will be my go-to spot for any of my needs or purchases in the future. It's great!! read more

Normally I don't like going to Verizon stores and I definitely wasn't looking forward to my most recent visit. However, I must say the people at this specific location are great. In particular I worked with Hector. He was really helpful and super pleasant to work with. I even had a very frustrating issue which didn't look like it was going to be resolved, but Hector stepped up and made a few phone calls to corporate and had everything worked out. I ended up getting an upgrade and a new phone. After having some issues setting up my phone, I ended up calling Hector at the store and he helped me fix everything. All this cell phone stuff can be frustrating sometimes but they go above and beyond to ensure your satisfaction. I highly recommend going to this Verizon store if you have a choice. And cross your fingers that you get Hector! read more

My wife and I visited the Verizon GoWireless store at W Continental Rd, Green Valley, AZ on February 13th, 2018. Despite constant protestations about how honest this store was with its customers compared to other stores, it turned out to be just the opposite. Our salesperson was a fast, double talking person with weak knowledge of the things he was selling. He tried to sell us a Verizon Hub that he knew almost nothing about and had no idea whether it would be compatible or duplicative with our Apple Airplane router or other Apple products. We told him we wanted new iPhones which we selected and asked what would the total costs be "out the door" including transfer of data and glass protection and cases for the new phones. He insisted in writing up the phones first. While the data transfer was being done we were told there would be a $20 per phone cost for the transfer. We had asked earlier if they would transfer our data (which had been done for free every other time we purchased phones over the past 20+ years). He assured us it would be, but after the data transfer was underway he informed us for the first time that he would be charging us. After we confronted both the salesperson and the manager of the store, Charles Flores, Mr. Flores reluctantly agreed to "waive the costs." He told us none of the lightening wires or chargers we had been using on our iPhone 6 and 6S would be compatible with our new 8's. Fortunately we did not buy new ones because Apple later confirmed that that information was false. He claimed that the battery life on the 8's was "far better" than the battery life on the 6's. That information could not be proven from any source - including Apple. He told us that the insurance we had under our AT&T plan was not "full coverage," but that the Verizon insurance was - a fact that also was later disproven. When we asked about glass protection and cases he said he'd "work with us, because unlike the phones the store controlled the cost on those items." After the phones were "written up" and the data transfers were in process we began to discuss cases. He tried to sell us the Verizon Loyalty Program (at approximately $79 per phone) that would allow a discount on accessories. That was never mentioned as necessary to his ability to "work with us" as stated previously. When we refused that program we were told there would be no discounts and that the transfer fees of $20 per phone, that Mr. Flores had previously agreed to waive, would not be waived. Mr. Flores said, "I only agreed to waive those charges when I thought you would be buying glass and accessories" - the classic example of bait and switch. The salesperson asked if we wanted to trade our phones and offered us $125 for each telling us that if we sold them privately we would "be lucky" to get even that much because the 2 phones were 2 models old. We declined his offer and later sold them on Craig's List for $250 and $300 respectively. Throughout our conversations, Mr. Flores kept saying, I am not your enemy," but he continued to be rude, discourteous, and argumentative, and he constantly interrupted me. When it came time to pay we were faced with a bill that included an upgrade fee, activation fees and taxes, which I had no quarrel with, but which were never explained up front despite our pleas for an "out the door" understanding of the tital price. We have purchased many cell phones over the last 20 years and have never been treated this way before. I was a Director of Human Resources for 15 years and if I ever heard that one of our employees had treated a customer the way I was treated the or she would have been out the door before the day ended. This wasn't about an isolated off-hand comment. It was about deceptive sales practices, bait and switch, and discourteous treatment. I will travel a half hour to Tucson before I ever return to this local store. My last iPhone purchase, 2 years ago, was at the AT&T store at the Spectrum Shopping Center in Tucson where I was treated honestly, courteously, and with respect. As a point of clarification, all of our subsequent conversations with Verizon personnel have been professional, courteous and helpful. Please do not confuse my comments about the GoWireless store with Verizon in general. Final Words - Stay Away from this store. read more

Took several old cell phones to store to donate for 911 use and was assured they would have everything deleted from them before giving out. Two days later two of the phones showed up under a bench on a main street of town with all of my information intact...the person finding them got my name from one of the phones. The store manager says this can't happen, but clearly it did. He also has been very dismissive with me about the matter. I caution anyone taking old phones in for donation purposes. read more

Yes, the lowest star grade...I would not recommend this store location for doing business to any senior in Green Valley. First of all, Go Wireless is like a franchise selling Verizon phones. They have a different set of rules for refunds than Verizon. The sales person who sold me a new Android phone added on a pad (supposedly free) and lots of extra charges without my consent or understanding of all the charges. I was shocked to see my next Verizon bill. I tried to take the pad back for a refund (I didn't want a pad anyway) and was given confusing double talk, lies, and the run-around. I had to spend hours researching how to defend my return, begun 17 days after the purchase, and ended up having to go to Corporate Headquarters in Tucson to finally get my situation resolved satisfactorily. I recommend anyone doing business at any Verizon store or Franchise, like Go Wireless, get the sales person to write down all the charges and explain them to the satisfaction of the customer, before signing anything or giving them your credit card. read more
