We came in to get an upgrade on my phone. The man checked us in and he talked to us about ordering a 15 pro. He was incredibly nice and answered all of our questions. A woman came from the back and said to him "take appointments I don't want to stay late" . He said something and quietly to her and she shook her head yes. He told us that we were going to have to make an appointment because they were closing. We said a lot of are you serious and we already checked in. He said yeah, we are short handed & I said there are 3 people up there and they are being helped. My husband looked at his phone to look at the time. He said that it's only 6.20 and you close at 7. He had talked us into a 15 pro and we only had to sign up to have it sent to us. It was none of his fault. It was the lazy woman that evidently doesn't want people renewing their phone service. So with Covid they have different protocols in place. I had an appointment and I was on time. When I got to the location there were four people standing on designated markings outside ahead of me. There was an employee propping the door open and he had a tablet. When I got to the front he asked my name and told me that I could wait in my car. I told him that I had an appointment....that brought me to the front if the line. WHY did he not ask me if I had one? I'll never know. He appeared as when he checked the names he was checking that but..nope. I was let in first. Needed a new phone immediately. What they don't tell u is that you have to be sure and connect to iTunes at home or backup because they can't /won't touch anyone's phone. So I ended up having to hope my last backup one month ago had been sufficient because no way was I leaving without a phone. I was trading in a phone and the new phone came with a $40 activation fee. I asked if there was a way around that and the employee who was very helpful not I didn't get his name said that I could use the kiosk to save $20 of the $40. I tried to use it and he watched to assist, but the kiosk wouldn't allow me to trade my phone. So back to his desk and the $40. Verizon you should do better. Better with informing customers, better with appointments and better at making the kiosk work read more

Poor products, poor product support, very poor customer service. Just a plan complete collapse... I have just fired them and will no longer ever do business with this company again....To continue the arrogance they just sent me a bill of almost a $1000. I'm a Verizon fan, yeah yeah, I know; you either love them or hate them. I am a loyal fan & this is my favorite store. This location is a corporate store and that makes a big difference in just about everything, trust me I know. I don't come here all the time because Delray is a schlep but whenever I am local and need something I come here. Best staff ever! I have had three positive experiences here and each time was great! In a previous review I wrote about some confusion about my employee discount I receive through my employer. My discount on accessories has been 25% for years. This has been lowered to 10% not because of anything Verizon did but my employer made changes when they renewed their contract. Ten percent is still a nice discount so I am not complaining. This is where it gets tricky; if I purchase accessories online, then my discount goes back to 25%. Confusing right? The difference this store stands out from the rest is because they go the extra mile to really help you and make you happy. They took the time to call Verizon and find out exactly what benefits I am eligible to receive. Even reps at the corporate level were highly confused. If you know me then you probably know that I am technically challenged; big time. In my office nothing stresses me more than a paper jam or if I am out of toner. My boss is always saying "just reboot" so I always try that before I ask coworkers for help. So just think of the amount of questions I ask when I am in the store! This staff has plenty of patience, especially with me. Funny Britt story: My mouse in my office stopped working for no reason, so I rebooted like I am always told to do. Do you see where I am heading? Of course my mouse still didn't work so I went to my coworker for help. He cracked up laughing (at me) and tried his hardest to explain that my mouse just needed new batteries! It was funny because I insisted I needed a new one ASAP. So, just imagine how many questions I ask the store reps. I admit some of my questions must be silly, but being technically challenged is not easy. The store is ultra modern and there is plenty of comfortable seating to learn how to use your new phone. I also want to note that the ladies room is spotless. I just love this store! They are located on the north side of Atlantic just a bit east of University Drive. Near the mall & Dicks Sporting Goods. Excellent service, the reps don't rush you and they go above and beyond to keep you happy. I highly recommend this store. read more

I've been here a few times and every time I have to say that I have above-average experience. I believe that that's a very low statement for this store. Eddie is the person that you want to see here he's so personable and very friendly and he will take care of any and all of your service needs if you wish to purchase something he'll help you with that too. Verizon employees lack customer service and are very unprofessional.I went in and was not greeted by a single person. All employees were just looking at my boyfriend and I . We eventually seated ourselves and waited at least 45 mins to be helped. One employee passes by and asks " are you being helped ?" I responded " Um no?" She then asks " well do you need help ? "Like seriously? Why else are we here? When I further discuss with her the reason of me coming in she's like sorry we can't do that here you need to log into your account and do that . Their customer service skills are very poor, their service is slow as possible . There were at least 5 employees and no line but they had us waiting there while they all just walked around doing absolutely nothing. read more

Stood by the front door for nearly 20 minutes without being greeted or acknowledged by any of the staff. While all staff members seemed to be engaged with other customers when I arrived I've found that the customary response is for someone to at least let the customer know that they will be attended to shortly, which did not occur. Furthermore, at one point I noticed what appeared to be a manager point to me and mention something to another employee, which indicated to me that they had at least noticed I was there, however instead of greeting me on his way back to the customer he was helping he just walked right past me. After this, another employee, who was not helping any customers began walking around the store aimlessly, walking past me multiple times, never bothering to ask if I was being helped. It was at this point that I walked out...and into the att store next door. read more

Stay away from this particular Verizon Store. Very unfriendly and rude. I was the only Customer in the store, with 3 Sales people hanging out, one of them was on the phone. I came in as I was having a problem with my phone and the Google Maps application. The one sales person in the store came over to me, and did not even hold or look at my phone, and basically blew me away, by telling me they have no control when an application is updated. Who said it was updated, and he did not even look at my phone? I then told him my phone stopped talking to me through the car, and I needed some assistance, as the Dealer told me it was something on the phone. I asked for the Manager, and after waiting about 15 minutes, I asked the other sales person to go check on why the Manager was not responding. After 5 more minutes, a very young Manager comes out and tells me he cannot help me, again, not looking at the phone, and tells me my phone is not under warranty, which has nothing to do with the problem I was having. I was so angry, I told the Store Manager I would put a review of my experience on Google and Yelp, and I urge others to stay away from this particular store. Later in the day, I went with my Sister to her Team Mobile Store, and the Salesperson there took the time to look at my phone, and within 5 minutes figured it out, that I had the app on mute. Simple as that! I have been a Verizon Wireless Customer for 17 years, as I joined one year after they began their business. I have always received excellent Customer Service from all Verizon Stores and through phone contact, until today! I plan on contacting Verizon Wireless Corporate, as they need to teach these people how to interact with others so they can keep their excellent reputation for Customer Service. read more

The ONLY helpful person in this store is the manager Garett. My step mom bought me a phone there n put me on her plan on a Sunday, I live in New York. I was told my phone would be to me at work, on tues, it was not b\c someone neglected to call fed ex on Monday for a pick up!! On wed I was told by Andrew that my phone was STILL in Florida (my new phone that mind up had already picked up my # from my old carrier) and he promised me it would be to me by 10am Friday. I gave Andrew a new address, my home, AGAIN it was not there! I was blown off for two days by Antron. After calling fed ex myself I found out the phone was delivered..... to the wrong address.....with no signature required! Finally, Sunday the general manager Garret got my missing phone returned within a half hour n on my way to a store in New York to get my new phone. This process was ridiculous and would have never happened given people did there jobs. read more

I have had VZW for 11 yrs and ALMOST switched to Sprint. That didn't work out so I went to this BZW store to upgrade. Jesse was awesome. She was very helpful while she talked to us about all of our options. She knew the phones and the plans well. She was effective and friendly. Tha k you Jesse and VZW for excellent customer servixe. Customer care attempted to plea with the store manager to try to resolve my issue. Customer care could not order him to resolve the issue (needed a new sim card). Store manager was presented with the option of help the customer or stick it to them. He went with the stick it to them approach. I would recommend going to the authorized retail store just east of 441 and Atlantic. They allowed me to purchase card no problems and customer care refunded. I dont understand how the CORPORATE store can be allowed to treat customers like crap and hide behind "its out policy" I guess since the authorized retailers ourOwner operated you get someone who takes pride and ownership in their work. read more

Went into the store to activate my phone. Apparently I was not able to because I wasn't the accont holder, stupid policy but its not their fault. What was annoying was they did not suggest anything to help me; I needed a SIM card and they could have easily suggested I pick one up at Walmart and activate at a non corporate store. Obviously I figured that out later, but good customer service should offer alternatives when they are unable to help. If this is number 1 phone company in customer service I'd hate to see the runners up. read more

I was very happy with the customer service here. My phone was stolen when I was substitute teaching at Rickards Middle school... the phone was on the cafeteria table right in front of me, but a kid started yelling Fight Fight Fight! and my attention was on him and trying to figure out what was going on. Video later showed a girl ran across the room and grabbed something off the table in front of me, which I am sure was my phone, but the staff searched her 2 hours later and she didn't have it. So after 2 weeks and police not doing anything, I decided I needed the contact info, etc. more than the phone which is locked and useless to anyone else once reported stolen. Although the school tech support guy located the general area of the phone, they couldn't pinpoint it. Sprint gave me horrible curstomer service on their website and phone and I almost always have a very long wait at the store on Wiles Road, so I came to this Verizon store. The man who helped me at Verizon was very patient and went out of his way to make sure everything was set up the way i needed it. Also, I had to go back to exchange the first phone I got for a bigger one, within the 2 weeks, and the same man switched it... no problems! I'm happy with them so far. They seem much less crowded than Sprint or Metro PCS (maybe I just picked good times to go?) and I was given immediate attention. No complaints. So far everything seems good. read more
