We went to upgrade my daughters phone and get an ipad and watch for free. While I was talking to my husband the sales associate turned off my daughters phone. They said since we already took adavantage of the free apple watch and iPad during a previous encounter we could not do it now. My husband said just forget it and we won't upgrade. The Verizon employee and the manager said it was too late. They said we could not get her phone number back and there was nothing we could do. We were forced to upgrade her phone at this point and get a new number for her. I switched over from AT&T due to cost which clearly was a mistake. Customer service at AT&T was much better. I will be switching back based on this experience as soon as I can. read more

I didn't catch the name of the associate who actually fixed my phone today but I just want to say a huge thank you! I showed up right when you guys opened hoping to have my issue resolved quickly. It ended up taking 2.5 hours but the dedication from my associate was unmatched. He was determined to fix my phone because it wouldn't allow my Apple ID to login to iMessage or FaceTime. After talking with tech support for both Verizon and Apple, nobody could figure it out. My associate tried everything he possibly could and finally fixed the issue. I hope you somehow end up seeing this and know how grateful I am for your help! Not many people would've invested 2-3 hours of their workday on one issue. I am still laughing at your reaction when you realized you fixed it Thank you so much!! Customer service was outstanding! read more

5 stars for Tara! Thank you for listening and answering all my questions. I was not looking forward to this Verizon store visit knowing the lines/wait can be long and time consuming. Well... we got right in with Tara and so glad we did! Tara greeted us timely & professionally. After assessing our needs she informed us of the BOGO on the Iphone 11. We came in for one Christmas phone for my daughter and I'm thrilled to say I was able to upgrade my Iphone 6s for the price of one. Merry Christmas to me!!! While we waited for our phone data to transfer to our new phones I got a great idea. I needed a Christmas gift for my favorite guy. With all Tara's knowledge, kindness and patience she set me up with my spontaneous idea, a 2019 Ipad. Thank you for taking extra time and making us feel like valued Verizon customers. This place is unbelievable. There are 3 people in here waiting. They have been waiting for over an hour for assistance. I have been waiting my self for a half hour. We can see the staff mingling in the back room. What is up with this location? the DMV is way more efficient than this place. read more

I was outright lied to and misled by the staff at this store. It started with the manager and my sales associate Paige was the worst. I am so insulted and agitated over this, I am thinking of switching to another carrier. They made a lot of promises that sound very good, and neglect to tell you the "catches" to their gimmicks. read more

The situation we faced was this: we had been hearing about T-Mobile buying out our current mobile service provider and the potential chaos that could ensue when everyone was forced to switch over their phones. Concerned, my wife, son, and I decided to visit the T-Mobile store at 3500 Williams Blvd SW in Cedar Rapids, Iowa 52404, to get some answers. Upon our visit, we had the good fortune of speaking with Cole Higenberg, the Retail Store Manager. Cole did an amazing job of assuaging our concerns when he could have easily taken advantage of our anxiety to make a quick sale. Instead, he used his time with us to turn us into well-informed consumers. Cole assured us that any of his staff would be happy to help us if we decided to switch, and he wasn't kidding. A couple of days later, we returned and worked with Dennis Warren, a Mobile Expert, who at times received backup from Randi McKissick, the Retail Associate Manager. Both of these wonderful people made sure we understood our options and helped us get exactly what we wanted and felt that 'WE' needed, not what they wanted to sell us! Throughout the entire process, we never felt pressured or hurried. We were always encouraged to ask questions and assured that we could return anytime if we needed help with anything. To our delight, we ended up with a better discount and more perks like Apple TV+, Netflix, Hulu, and AAA (free for one year), along with a few other extras we didn't expect. In the end, we came out saving money, with new upgraded phones, and we even kept our old phones--no, we weren't forced to trade them in if we didn't want to! When the phones finally arrived, a young man named Ben (sorry Ben, I forgot to get your card) did a wonderful job of making sure our phones were set up, switched over, and backed up just as they needed to be. I have never had a phone service switch go as smoothly or enjoyably! T-Mobile, you have truly set a new standard for customer service in the mobile industry."

I brought it back to them to get the bottom screen fixed, and after I got it, while it senses taps, the touches are never in the right place, even with me calibrating it multiple times. Absolute waste of money. Their student discount, is abysmal, and the service is just so bad. More things are broken getting my device back, than what was originally needing to be repaired. I recommend looking at another repair shop and staying away from this one as much as possible. Spend your money on a better service, and for those who actually deserve it.

The most apathetic sales staff I've ever seen ANYWHERE. This crew was issued ipads awhile ago and they now think that's their only job is to walk around with ipads and not wait on people. When you walk in, some idiot walks up to you and asks your name, then inputs it into the stupid ipad and that's it. They haven't heard of "take a number"? If they want to use the "take a number" system, put one in somewhere, and WAIT on the customers!! The "take a number" idiot is like a concierge, not a customer service rep. It creates a totally redundant person in the store. This is a perfect example of the "false economy" of their ipad system. When I was there Wednesday, there were 6 customers waiting for almost 30 minutes while all the sales staff but one went into the back room for some kind of party apparently. Counting the manager, who's a a**h**e, there were 5 employees there, but for 30 minutes, only one guy helping some tall blonde whom he was flirting with, putting a screen protector on her phone, etc. For 30 minutes?? At the rate they were going, the store would close before everyone got waited on, and meanwhile the other 4 people are hanging out in the back room. The "manager" would come out every once in awhile and just wander around ignoring all the waiting people, but infuritatingly, did help 2 people who came in after all the "take a number" customers. I finally "had it" after the second late comer was waited on and stood outside the door waiting for the unfriendly, apathetic "manager" to come out of the back room. When he did, I said, "What are you guys doing back there? Having a party?" He glared at me angrily and said, "We're training!" (While 6 customers are waiting for "Romeo" to get done waiting on the tall blonde for almost half an hour??) I told him to f-off twice and left. I later called the Verizon customer service and they were unbelievably friendly and helpful and solved my issue almost immediately. I will NEVER go to this store again, and I've bought a LOT of stuff there. The place particularly went to hell after they got their ipads. They need to throw the damn things away and start taking care of Verizon customers. They're a WASTE of time for everyone although the apathetic staff think they're so cool now. I am still reeling from dealing with such a bunch of apathetic idiots. read more

If I could give less then 1 star, I absolutely would. Their "manager" Jessica is by far one of the most rude, inconsiderate people I've ever spoke to. If you hate your job THAT bad to have such HORRIBLE customer service, do us all a favor and go find a new one. read more
