They completely lied to us and had my brother come back 3 different times in one week saying the manager would be there at a certain time and every time he went back with his infant the manager was never there but the staff assured us that when the manager (Parker young ) was back he would be able to accommodate charges that were never mentioned when purchasing a new I phone....that we didn't even want in the first place but the sales man at this store insisted & pushed a new I phone on us when we were there for an insurance claim and to get a refurbished phone but the sales man insisted that it was cheaper for the new I phone (WRONG ) my bill went up tremendously also when purchasing this phone he dealt with a guy named Nate who impersonated being a manger and when my brother walked in they said that guy doesn't even work here and had no idea who my brother was talking about and they had no clue who even sold the I phone to my brother in the first place at the same store (Super unprofessional) We called Verizon corporate and had a bunch on notes placed onto our account that they promised this store would accommodate. When we finally talked to the Manager Parker Young He said they could not accommodate our needs and wasn't able to refund any of the down payment for the phone so we returned the phone with out the money we put down for the phone Definitely taking this matter up with corporate Parker also mentioned he didn't work for Verizon. On 4/27/2025 at approximately 17:00 I, Adrien Duarte, walked into the Verizon store hoping for a solution. That is when Nathan Yearsley came to my service and helped me out. He is an extremely knowledgeable person who knows his stuff. I came in to get a new phone and I ended up switching over from T-Mobile with no hesitation. Nathan understood that I was in a time crunch and was so skilled at his job that he even multitasked and helped another customer out simultaneously. He is fast, efficient, and really respectful. Nathan ran my credit and showed me all the available options that I was granted, simplified everything I did not understand and even taught me few things I was not aware of. I am super thankful. BE AWARE!! Make sure you get paperwork and a SUBMISSION ID from them if you trade in from another carrier. If they say they'll email it, wait there until you get the email or don't wipe it yet because the one of the employees there is straight up stealing your trade ins. I'll explain I traded in 2 iPhone 11's and a iPhone XR Max for the $1,000 off a new iPhone 14 when you switch and trade in your old device Feb 6th and they had us fill out the trade in paperwork and contract but it seems he failed to submit the trade in form..... so he could pocket our wiped phones with no record or way for me to prove I traded them in After a month I was being charged the full lease price on all lines. After 4 months of contacting support they tell me there is no history of a trade in (even though my receipt shows it as an upgrade not a new device). Support says I have to go to the store and get the submission ID. Of course the store is conveniently incompetent and avoid helping because they don't want their racket stopped. The only response you'll hear is "I just became manager, I'm not exactly sure what I'm looking for" spiel. If this has happened to you contact me as I am seeking legal action. 3 devices valued at $1,000 by Verizon, that is grand larceny and a felony. 3 counts is a good start but I'd like to see that little s*** in jail. read more

Do not go here (Victra). They represent themselves as Verizon, but it's another private company, an "authorized retailer." They charge additional fees and sell at inflated costs. Just go to Verizon or Apple directly to avoid unfair fees. read more

I with I could post no stars. Went to get the new IPhone 15. The salesman kept putting my password wrong until he locked up my old phone and told me to go to the apple store in the mall. After an hour I typed in the correct password and transferred my data myself. They still charged me 35 dollars transfer fee and he said he didn't know how to reverse the charge. He said he would have the manager call me. He never did and also never sent the box to return my old phone. After an hour with Verizon we got it worked out. read more

Go ANYWHERE else. Totally disingenuous sales staff and GM. Numerous costs and fees added on, but not mentioned (found out when my bill more than doubled). Response from GM: oh, he should have told you that. Clearly, I should have not believed anything or expected any real help when I came back with questions/returns. After restocking fees, coupons backed off, and returns they "aren't allowed" to take in the store, $12 refund on $259 purchase. My only consolation is that I'm sure T-Mobile will be happy to have me back. read more

We have been going to this Verizon for years, we moved about two years ago but we still go out of our way to go to this store because we love the staff so much. That being said, we came in today to get a new phone. We were looking at the different phones and I picked up a phone and the alarm went off. At this time the store was particularly busy so we had been waiting for about 20 min looking at the different options. Stuart came to shut off the alarm and I tried just laughing it off with him, that I only picked up the phone and the alarm went off. He responded by telling my husband and I to find a chair, there was plenty of room to sit down. We thought that was rude but brushed it off and kept browsing. To get to it, we got skipped in line by Stuart (by this guy showed up after the alarm went off but was in and out really quickly) and then Stuart went into the back for a period of time to avoid helping us. After taking a phone call he couldn't avoid us any longer before he came out to hesitantly see what we needed. I offered to wait longer for the next person available, even though there was no one behind us at this point. We ended up getting helped by Marissa who is a representation of why we come to this store, she was awesome! so bottom line. Don't see Stuart... #Stuart sucks! read more

BEWARE!! when they say "for as long as you own your phone" plan or service. I purchased the plastic shield protection " for as long as you own your phone" plan. Until recently I had no problem, well there was that one time when the manger at the time try to "re-sell" me the plan. About three weeks ago I went in to have it replaced and they said they did not have any in stock and do not know when one or if any will come in and they could not order it. Yeah, right! I told them, if any customer pays for a plan and they are told they will honor it as long as they own the phone customers expect that service just like they took their money. I was then told that it was due to my phone being over two years old. SO what do they do, suggest I upgrade my phone. So I guess their perspective is like: if your car is over two years old and the windshield is cracked or chipped you need to buy a new car even though it works fine. Because my phone works fine and just needs the plastic shield replaced. When I first went in a few weeks ago they told me they would call me with an update when a plastic shield comes in, I never got a call so I stopped by yesterday and got the same run around. I would like to talk to their district manger regarding them honoring the plan I PAID for and not receiving. If anybody can help with the district mangers name or phone number that would be nice. AGAIN at this point BEWARE when they say "as long as you own your phone" I hope to get this resolved so I can come back and assure you they do keep and honor their plans. read more

So laughable. Left the store because the middle aged man was ridiculously unprofessional in attitude. He was treating my mother so poorly. Basically just a jerk. He was not wearing a name tag and didn't change his attitude until he saw me go onto yelp. I'm going to a real verizon store not this fake one. I have been burned many times when buying cellphones or setting up service. Thankfully, about three phones and 4 years ago I discovered MyBullFrog. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and professional. They match you to the right phone and explain how to use it, getting it set up properly (importing contacts, info, etc...). They follow up with you to make sure you are still happy days and weeks later. They are usually well-staffed unlike going to an actual Verizon wireless store. A couple of complaints- This one is nothing they can do anything about, is that Verizon will not let them have "live" phones to play around with and test out. They do their best to work around this offering their own experience with the phone or their own phones if it happens to match what you are looking at. Their cell phone insurance plans have extremely high deductibles- again nothing they can really do anything about. I would also like to see them get more options than Verizon. I strongly reccomend these guys. They will make you feel better about cell phone stores in general. read more

I visited two stores today. The first store I went to was on Emerald. I have been having difficulties sending text messages for about a week now. The texts get delivered to the recipient hours or even days later. The Emerald store employee said, "come back if ___didn't work. If ___ doesn't work, we'll try replacing the SIM card." I felt dismissed, so I sent a few test texts, and what they did didn't work, so I trekked over to the Overland location, hoping to get a little more help. Stuart helped me. I told him they said it might be the SIM card, but he said, "that would be rare & I would only be concerned if you weren't gettting any calls and texts." (but I was getting calls and making them, I just wasn't able to send texts.) Stuart adjusted some of the settings on my account and said to call the tech coach. After leaving that store, I had a new problem, I could not receive ANY phone calls from friends, family, or employers, I could only call them. I had just received a phone call about an hour before this, so whatever settings Stuart "adjusted" he instead created an entirely new problem. So I trekked back to the Emerald store. This time I was helped quite a bit more than I was the first time, but neither they, nor tech coach could help me. The Emerald store employee & the tech coach both suggested I go back to the Overland store to get a new SIM card because they were out of 5G sim cards at the Emerald location. I arrived to the Overland store & was assisted by Cody, who helped and walked me through the steps, even staying on the call with a new tech employee who said that my settings had been set to a bunch of weird, user unfriendly settings, to include 'can't receive incoming calls'. (a problem I did not have until I was at the Overland store the first time this morning being helped by Stuart). Stuart was helping another customer when he told Cody to get tech coach on the phone, otherwise "we're just going to get the run around between here and Emerald." (implying that I'm going to keep going back and forth between the two stores-completely dismissing how I wasn't helped the first time at both). I told him, "I didn't want to come back here, they sent me here." I went to both stores 2x because I wasn't getting any help until I showed up to each store the second time. Stuart's comment was unprofessional. I definitely did not want to walk into two stores two separate times. However, the tech coach couldn't help me because they needed a call back number (but again, I could not receive any calls- so being in the store was neccessary as the tech coach could NOT call me back). I really am the most technologically deficient 25 year old to walk the planet. I just needed a little help. Stuart was right, it wasn't the SIM card. (However, the SIM card in my 5G phone was for a 4G phone-set up in January by an Emerald store employee). But if he had just listened, & not altered the settings on my phone, & then dismissed me, I wouldn't be so frustrated with his lack of "help." I still cannot send picture messages to people, but I am hoping google might be able to assist me with replacing the new phone. But I am back to receiving phone calls, a requirement for my line of employment. read more

At first, I had a good experience at this store. Sure, I had to wait in a long line to get helped, but this is typical at busy mobile stores. At first, I got great service. The staff ordered phones for my wife and I, helped with plan options, and gave clear information. I do think the sales staff works incredibly hard. My issue is that I ordered two phones in May 2015. The phones were not in stock, so I had to wait. I went ahead and paid the Verizon Edge sales tax at the time of the order. When I picked the phones up, I was mistakenly charged this tax again. I caught the mistake after the transaction and the store's staff told me to return for a refund the next day. After returning to the store and doing more waiting while the sales staff called the parent office, I was told that a check would be sent to me for the $81 I am owed. Fast forward to today, 8 weeks later, and I haven't received a refund. I've called customer support 4 times, been assured that the check was "processing," and received false promises of call backs. The support staff offers lots of excuses: the finance department seems to not work much (definitely not Fridays) and the corporate buy out from the BullFrog days is causing issues. I'll brave the lines at an actual Verizon store or just shop online before I return to this reseller. Eight weeks to process a refund due to the company's mistake is unacceptable, especially when I continue to have to waste my time to get my refund at all. Avoid this company to save time and money. Update: I received my refund, and a call back in response to this review. Updated to two stars. read more

If anyone is thinking of buying phones/devices from Mybullfrog, think again. I received a very nasty phone call today from Jasper in MBF's call center, pressuring me into paying secondary termination fees to Mybullfrog on top of the early termination fees I have already paid to Verizon. They are trying to charge me $200 per basic phone I purchased from them, because I cancelled my service with Verizon 173 days after I bought the phones. Apparently if you purchase any device from MBF, they can bill you $200 per basic phone, and $300 per smartphone on TOP of your fees with Verizon for cancelling service, and they will NOT let you simply return the devices to them to waive the fees (although I have been told that they used to let people return the phones, which I am more than happy to do). This is an EXTREMELY shady business practice, especially when Jasper was pressuring me into paying the fees over the phone today, saying that if I paid immediately, he could "cut me a deal". This is not integrity at all, and I would strongly encourage everyone to stay away from MBF when buying new phones. read more

Not a huge fan of this place. Had one phone replaced to have lost a bunch of data that had supposedly been transferred. Be warned this is not a Verizon store meant to help you with problems. They are here to sell. Second visit want much better. Got a replacement phone but had to wait for them to drive to another store to get it and it was white. AND the camera was scratched. They also "couldn't" transfer photos off since the screen was damaged. I had to bring my laptop back to get them off. Funny how my tech at home works better than theirs. read more

Went there this AM for an issue with my phone that I bought there last year. A young man, I believe his name was Vaughn was very polite and helpful and even applied the replacement protective shield on my phone. He checked my account, and phone that this was a covered repair under the protection plan. Very helpful staff and has a good variety. read more

My experience with mybullfrog was costly. When I saw their Kiosk at the Boise town Mall I thought that it was a Verizon operation as their sign prominently displays the Verizon logo. The mybullfrog logo is very indiscreetly placed lower part on the sign. In hind sign I feel it is false advertising. I bought a Verizon internet wifi device from them which I could not get to work the way I felt it should. Now the costly part , when I returned the device which I was given 14 days to so I was charged a $35 return fee, written in the FINE print. Would never buy again from them. If you are going to get a Verizon whatever, just go to a Verizon store. read more

A little under two years ago I bought my current phone at this store. I've been happy with it until recently when it started crashing a good part of the day. I went in to see what the problem was and the employee I spoke with told me that it was most likely the mandatory software updates verizon updates taking up all my RAM. The only solution he told me was to get a new phone. After taking a look at my contract he mentioned that I am not eligible for an upgrade for another two months when my contract is finished(even though it was no fault of mine that the phone didn't even the duration of the contract). The employee then tried pressuring me into an optional edge program that would allow me to get a new phone but at the cost of about $27 bucks a month. When I told him that I was not interested in paying additional money just because what they sold me to begin with was low quality and that if nothing else could be done I'd be looking for a different carrier, he just got a smug look on his face and told me "alright well good luck with the new carrier." Clearly those employed in this store's mindset is not to help assist customers but only to try and up-sell products to customers and make goals. If you are like me and are turned away by unprofessional attitude, low quality product and poor customer service, then I say take your business elsewhere. My experience with this store has definitely convinced me to be changing carriers at the end of my contract. read more
