I shop here on occasion, but recently I needed some extra printing work done by a professional, so I called around. Eventually I settled on Office Depot due to their price, turnaround time, selection, and business features. I was convinced the Business Select program was a great value, both for the price and the discounts it offers overall. I have already earned back the annual cost after only several discount purchases. The work I needed done was a custom printing of 7 pages, 200 copies, double sided, black and white. We needed them in less than a week and Office Depot delivered. My needs were met by Cassandra, the printing specialist (manager? - unsure of her exact title) and she was spectacular. She knew her products, her equipment, and her service capabilities, and took the time to answer all of our questions and make sure we got the best bang for our buck. In the end, I received exactly what I was looking for, received a call when they were ready, and they EVEN FOLDED THEM FOR ME! (which was not an ask but it was definitely a time-saver). Since then, I've gotten more quotes from her and will continue to visit this store and Cassandra as she is a special employee that goes above and beyond and deserves all the recognition she receives! Working at home means you need to have the right tools. A good study desk and a very good task chair. I have a great desk that my son put together because he's a cross of Handy Manny and Fix It Felix. That's not me and I proudly admit to being unhandy. My current chair that I have had for about two years is serviceable but lately, it's losing its gas. For those that don't know, most if not all task chairs have a gas lift so that they can be height adjustable. The gas in my chair is on 'E' for Extra. I will be on a video call and suddenly without notice drop 4 inches and there's a dramatic pause and another 2-inch drop. To say it's freaking annoying would be an understatement I started my search for a replacement chair at the other guys. You know, the store that is named after the metal brackets inside of a stapler. Their selection of chairs was limited and 4 x the price of that place that is named after a mechanical device that joins pages of paper It's just a sham and while the service is better, Office Depot is just not priced competitively. With all the options available, and with no seeming interest to adapt to the marketplace, Office Depot may find itself the way of Toy R Us and Radio Shack. read more

My son and I came in to Office Depot #2087 to have a picture printed and put into a Christmas tree ornament, and we were greeted by Casandra in the print shop area. She was amazing and went ABOVE AND BEYOND to help us with our special gift to my wife. She executed it perfectly and was so genuinely kind to us. We appreciate what you did for us Casandra! EVERY time I go here, I'm so happy with their selection of office needs and services. From Michelle in the print shop all the way to Doug, the manager, they always take great care of things for me. We had several stickers we needed printed for a memorial service (4000 to be exact) and they were so professional, timely and kind throughout the process. Terrible fucking company with even worse managers. No one but one person knows how to do their job there. They are always understaffed and the managers always conveniently seem to be in the back "working" while they have maybe 2 regular associates in the front. CARTRIDGE RECYCLING PROGRAM IS A RIP OFF - BEWARE!!! I religiously turn in my 10 printer cartridges per month to get office rewards points and get a printed receipt when I turn them in. When I log into the office depot website to view points earned, they never appear. have contacted customer service and they just pass the buck to someone else without resolution. I have literally turned in over 100 cartridges over the years for which I have not received credit. I am the office manager for two companies and purchase around $5K in office supplies (not counting equipment) and will not do business with Office Depot again as all attempts to resolve this problem have fallen on the deaf ears of the constantly rotating Office Depot staff. read more

Very thankful to have an office supply store in the middle of Meridian. I believe every time I have come here, I have experienced helpful employees that go out of their way to help or point me in the right direction. This store is very big and overwhelming so I am grateful for the help at the store. Came here recently to purchase a cartridge for my labeler. As I chose the one I was looking for, I happened to check Amazon to make sure they value was in line and the price at OD was more than 200% of Amazon's price. As I stepped up to the register, I asked the cashier if they price matched and she said yes. I showed her the price of Amazon on my phone and she gladly discounted $13 off an item that was marked $22.99. I know it is super hard to keep up with everyone's prices, I am just super thankful that OD price matches. Sometimes you just have to ask. I would rather buy locally from a friendly place than have to wait for shipping online and for that reason, I am really happy to shop here and will continue. read more
