I've been a Verizon wireless customer for many years and have visited multiple Verizon stores for phone purchases and troubleshooting, and I can honestly say that the Rutland Commons Verizon store is hands down the best. I have had the pleasure to watch both Moiz and Sohail in action since my first visit to their store on August 19, 2016. I purchased a Galaxy Note 7 that day. From that day on, despite all of the troubles with that particular Samsung phone, both Sohail and Moiz have been amazing. They have not only helped me with the Note 7 recall, but they have demonstrated that they are consummate professionals in the way they help every customer who enters their store. Both young men are patient, kind, and tech savvy. During my wait time required for the phone switch, I watched them assist customers with everything from backing up photos to the Cloud to logging into a locked Facebook account, which I'm sure is not part of their job description! In this day of poor customer service in many businesses, this Verizon Wireless store is the exception. Even if you don't live in Mechanicsville, you are going to want to drive to this Rutland Commons store to get the best customer service you've ever had.

Now, I can understand why this place is SO busy and packed with people. They at least take your phone number and put you in line for your turn to be waited on. In that 20 min, I had time to do some browsing, and some many new features which you can hook up to your Smartphone and/or Tablet. Anyway, the reason I was in here.... I had just bought a Samsung Note 3 the day before at another Verizon store; not a corporate store. I thought I was having some problems with the phone, the next day, so I called Verizon Technical support. They referred me to this store to have the phone checked out. The issue was, the Note 3 is a 4G phone and it would not go into 4G mode. It stayed in 3G. So, the Verizon Rep. checked the settings and it reset the phone, and it hooked up to 4G. Than within 2 min. it was back to 3G. He did this twice, and he said he thought the SIM card had a problem, so he replaced it with a NEW one.... Anyway, he spent 30 min with me, and answering any questions I had. With the NEW Sim Card, the phone is now back to 4G. Of course, NO Charge.... I was treated Professionally, even though I did not BUY the phone from them... NEVER once did he bring it up about, Where did I buy the phone. He made me feel comfortable with me in there. He fixed my problem, and now I am on my way with my NEW Samsung Note 3 phone. I have had it now for 3 days, and I will never go back to a Motorola Smartphone again. The phone is powerful and awsome to say the least. Verizon earned my 5 stars today because of their Professionalism and great Customer Support.... Thanks Verizon! :-)

I normally do not do a Updated review on a place so quickly, as I like to wait at least a year…read more However, this deserved an update, and I JUST did not want to wait a year. As you know, it is ALL about "Customer Service". I just recently bought a Samsung Note 3 phone from Dan, and within several days of owning this great phone... I noticed it was not accessing 4G, and ONLY staying on 3G, even though I live in a 4G area. So, I called Verizon and a Rep told me to take it the Corporate Store and have them check the phone out. They did JUST that and replaced the Sim Card. I than call Dan at the Verizon place to let him know what had happened and he assured me the next time to bring it there as they would have taken care of the problem. About 1 week later, I was having the same problem so this time I went back to the Original Verizon Store. Dan was not there. However, the Manager by the name of James was there... I had met him earlier, when I bought the phone from Dan as he came over to THANK me for buying the phone in his store. Dan, went over the phone and without hesitation, he went to the back and brought out a NEW phone. He assured me in how he wanted to make me Happy. He also commented how he wants me to return again as a Customer. He set the phone back up and set up my email accounts. The ONLY thing I had to do AGAIN... Go back home and re-down load the Apps and re log back into them them.... So, when I left... I left as a Happy Camper. James and Dan's Customer Service goes beyond Good Customer Service for this Store. If you read this and decide to go into this particular store... Ask for Dan or James. If they are not there, ask when will they return. I am sure the other Reps are just as good, however my experience tells me how these two guys are the BEST in this particular Verizon Store. Great Job James and Dan, as I will be returning, and I hope my friends will be coming as well.

I bought a phone over three weeks ago and still can't pick it up. The store won't release it…read morebecause another item from the same order isn't due until mid-November, which means I'll be without my phone for more than a month and a half. All I've been told is that they'll reach out when it finally arrives. This policy makes no sense. Items should be released or ordered separately so customers aren't left waiting on something they've already paid for. It's clear that customer satisfaction and basic accommodation aren't a priority here.

His knowledge and expertise is setting up our business account, helping us with the promos to save us a bundle, and switching all of our data! He tirelessly assisted us by making extra calls, handling hiccups, and basically walking us through an otherwise tedious process. The stars are for him! He's like an octopus, able to use his "tentacles" to accomplish several tasks at once! He greeted all the other patrons with a warm welcome! As he mentioned, the store needs a facelift... aesthetically it needs an upgrade, just like our phones!! I think once the remodel is done, this will be an amazing sister store! But with such incredible customer service, the looks of this shop pale in comparison to the shining care and attention we received! If you need anything for your Verizon needs, give him a ring!! After being a customer for decades, and being treated like dirt while Verizon chased new customers, we left for good. Staying in an Air BnB for a few days, and the owner's internet is out because of a new "upgraded router" Verizon insisted on selling to her, and once again we are reminded just how awful Verizon is.
