Giovanni replaced it perfectly. Good as new. Of course it was expensive but a heckuvalot more affordable than a new laptop! I was worried I wouldn't find a competent technician for this kind of delicate sophisticated electronics out here in the sticks, so I'm thrilled that 2nd Life could do this job and do it well. I guess I thought I'd have to take my laptop to Westchester or NYC, which would be pretty time consuming. I want to add that the first screen he received failed while still in his shop. So he had to order and install a second one, and I don't think he charged me any different even though it had to have been ~double the labor time. Plus - he obviously checked his work. And, he apologized for the delay, even though he didn't cause it. I don't know about you but a lot of things nowadays, people take shortcuts or don't care about the quality of work or just fail to do the simplest little checks to assure a job is done right. When I walked into the store I was cheerfully greeted and noticed the employees wiping the phones down. The store was quiet, only the employees and I; which was actually great because of COVID going on. I asked about the promotion and they told me what to do (don't feel like typing that part out lol) so I said thank you and I would come back. I came back the next day and brought my old phone in and let me tell you, the employees are on point!!!! They remembered my name when they greeted me, the store looked very clean and promptly got to work on setting up my new service! One of the employees Mia, helped me pick an awesome phone case that was similar to my old glitter one. I even spent a little extra on accessories to go with my new IPhone. (AirPods, Insurance (accidents happen) and the Mag Charger. I was so pleased with my service and I love my new phone.
