Needless to say, I was in a severe panic mode. I found Michael on Yelp and based on the reviews, decided to take my laptop to him. In my mind, I was prepared to have to buy a new one even though this was only 1.25 years old. Michael said there were programs running in the background and that was the problem. He did a tune up and I had it back before he closed. If I could give more stars, I would!

This was my second visit to Computer Repair World - this time for my husband's computer. I was positive that his 9 year-old well-used computer was on its last legs, but Michael asked me to give him a chance to find out what was wrong. Michael is both patient and kind, taking the time to explain exactly what the problem was and giving us advice to prevent problems in the future. I would never, could never go to anyone else.

I have no freaking clue and no valid reason not to use a repair center like this place. Maybe I'm conditioned to take my products only to apple and let them suck every last dollar out of my bank account for repairs. Bravo to apple for making me think only they can fix my products but I'm no longer fooled by that marketing tactic. Thankfully I decided to trust that someone has the ability to repair my apple products other than apple. I took my iPhone XS Max in for some major repairs; front, back and battery. Alfredo was up front about costs and turnaround times. I was explained my options and dangers of trying to save a quick buck in the long run. I trusted the Jedi Masters recommendations and my trust was not ill placed. My phone was masterfully repaired and warranties explained clearly. I'm super grateful to have come across this business and will most certainly call again if I need any electronic repairs. I didn't realize they even do video game consoles so next time I get freaking controller drift I'll call to see if they can fix that type of annoyance that seems to plague new gen console controllers. THANK YOU for making mobile (electronic) repairs less stressful!

He didn't even charge me. He ended it with an old-fashioned handshake. In my opinion, this was great business on his part. I'll now be a customer for any computer needs because this proves to me he'd be fair with his prices. I spent several hours on the phone with her trying absolutely anything I could think of. With limited options at that point, I did some quick research and found PC Med Center which was very close to her house. Not knowing if they were going to give good service, or scam her, or what, I crossed my fingers and told her to take it there. A few days later she called me to thank me for the recommendation. Apparently it was just a single loose wire, which they were able to identify and fix. They did not overcharge her for what ended up being a fairly simple fix. Props to them for being able to identify the problem so quickly, and not trying to scam her!

He was right, and now, without having to replace the motherboard, I now have my computer working again with the USB Wifi.
